Danny just had to check on how Moure was doing. She had been worried sick over her friends of course, but even more so over her group from the haunted house. Sure, everyone had been in danger equally, but she was most worried for the people she'd actually traversed the house with. After all, if something had happened to one of them, she would feel very, very bad. It would be her fault.
So she had ventured towards the undead dorms and wandered inside to find her patchwork friend. The undead dorms were never very fun to visit- they were absolutely freezing! Luckily her body temperature was finally adjusting to Amityville's climate, and it wasn't completely horrible. Her inner heat kept her pretty toasty, most of the time.
"Moure? Are you in?" she asked as she knocked on his door. Hopefully that Edel thing wouldn't be with him. Even an idiot like Danny noticed how much time they were spending together. She hadn't yet put two and two together, and assumed they were just best friends, nothing more than that.
Pray to Jack that Moure would'nt reveal anything, or he might end up with a burnt dorm.

Moure had been meaning to check on Danny, but he hadn't gotten a chance yet. He knew she'd made it back from that tramatic field-trip (he'd seen her from a distance in the tents), and that she'd gotten back to her dorm relatively safely (what with Roch helping her back and all), but past that, he had no idea how she was doing.
He was just about to go look for her when he heard the knocking on his door. It was soon followed by Danny's voice, but it was lacking in it's usual yelling aspect, so Moure wasn't sure what condition she was in. He quickly opened the door, looking Danny over with concern. She looked generally okay...but as he'd discovered with Edel, some of the damage could've been mental. "I'm here. Come on in. Take a seat, if you'd like." He said, pushing the door open wide and waving his arm toward his desk and bed. She flopped right onto the bed, so Moure didn't make a move to sit there.
Something clicked in Moure's brain, and he remembered that Danny didn't exactly like Edel, and Moure may or may not now be in a relationship (Moure wasn't even sure right now, but whatever it was it made him happy) with the frost demon. Hopefully that topic wouldn't come up too soon. Moure took a seat at the desk's whirly chair, the same chair Danny had given him after prom (the same chair Edel had sat in while they'd played Scario Kart), and looked over Danny with some concern. "Are you alright?" That was what was important right now, at this exact moment in time. Was Danny okay? Moure himself wasn't too worse for wear, due to the fact that he'd already redone some of the busted seams he'd had, but he'd seen Danny go down during that fight.

Danny threw herself onto Moure's bed, where she had comfortably spent time playing Scario Kart, doing homework, whatever the moment called for. Come to think of it, she had spent a lot more time in Moure's room than most. It definitely wasn't comfortable still though. Something about the temperature unnerved her in ways she couldn't describe.
Once she was as settled as she could be, she turned to Moure and lied through her teeth, "Yeah I'm fine. Tired's all." It was accompanied by a weak smile. She wasn't alright- Red was one of her favorite teachers, and having to watch her die right in front her like that was just ...
Nevermind that though. She had things to do. Pushing that thought aside, she offered her pet to Moure. "I have a present!" No doubt Moure would deny it like crazy, just like last time, but for Danny giving and receiving presents was nothing unusual.
She put the present in his hands like it was no big deal, and smiled happily. Danny really liked giving these Rabos away. She had about three more in her bag, just waiting to wiggle into someone's dorm. "What about you? Are you okay?" she said as she handed the package over.

Moure waited for Danny to crash on his bed, which was the usual occurance, before giving her another nod. He reached over to the set of drawers where he kept his clothing, sliding one drawer. He pulled out a blanket and offered it to Danny. He didn't often use it, so if it got a tad singed, he wouldn't mind too badly. Plus, Danny seemed a bit shaken still, even if she didn't want to look like it. Best friends could just tell, right?
Her smile was of the style that Moure was familiar with from home; weak, forced even. Danny wasn't fine...no more than anyone else was from that tramatic trip was. "You sure...?" He asked, his concern was still written across his face, and could've been read by anyone.
When the box was handed to Moure, he blinked a few times, first at the box then at Danny than at the box again. "A-a present?" At a time like this? Maybe she was just thankful she was still alive, and was showing it by giving things away? Then again, Danny did give stuff away more than Moure was usually inclined to. "Are you sure?" He asked, still surprised a bit by the present being pushed into his hands. Moure would've tried to deny the present harder, but he didn't want to upset Danny, not after their horrible over-nighter.
"Me?" He asked, still being taken by surprise when someone expressed concern for him. He was finally starting to expect that others might care if he was gone, which was a most unusual feeling, but sometimes it still surprised him. "Yeah...I'm okay." He said, feeling his arm self-conciously. It was still attached, which was unusual considering everything they'd gone through. He gave a little grin and said, "Still in one piece."

Her suitcase was all packed and ready to go. She had intentionally left a few things behind, being rather sure that she would make it back from her little trip home. There was no denying the small cloud of doubt she had though – there was still that possibility that her parents would object to her coming back to school, especially so considering what had been so sensationally splashed across the papers. Yes, coming back was going to be the hard part.
Edel scanned her room once more. All cleaned up, no half-finished projects, all ice scrapings swept away. Her wardrobe was empty – she had a good mind to bring some of those dresses back and leave them there. Only some of the minor school supplies occupied the mostly emptied desk. Yep, she was all ready to go.
Just one more thing though. The ghoul watched solemnly as Chives skipped and skidded across the room (now that there was so much more empty space). Snow was tucked away in the corner of her bed, snoring and growling loudly. Only Dingo would accompany her on this trip.
The frost demon got up and left the room, taking the duration of the walk to the undead dorms to figure out what she was going to say.
Hi, I'll be leaving school for home for the next two weeks. I may or may not be back, depending on my parents. Also, would you take care of Chives and Snow for me while I'm gone?.
How demanding, she thought. It only occurred to her then that she should have given some thought to how the patchwork boil would feel. Leaving her pets with him might serve some sort of assurance that she would be back, but there was still the possibility she wouldn't see him again. The notion upset her a little, that she could be leaving a rather dear friend of hers. She was feeling a little guilty over her (recently realised) habit of making arbitrary decisions without informing others, or discussing them at all. Ironically, both seemed to involve the patchwork boil in some way or another.
Edel stepped into the undead dorms and was welcomed by the chilly atmosphere. It was one of the pleasant aspects of visiting Moure (although she had only done so once). The ghoul soon found herself a few paces away from the patchwork's dorm room and took a breath to compose herself. How was she going to tell him that her visit was regrettably not about Scario Kart again? Or that she was just dropping by to check up on how he was. Urgh, she was feeling all so terribly selfish again.
The ghoul stood outside the door, glancing up and down at the wooden surface. She hadn't noticed until now, but the door was quite charred wasn't it? Who could have done such a terrible thing, to an undead no less?!

Danny patted Moure lightly on his good arm. He must've not been feeling good, because he was repeating his phrases quite a bit. Maybe he had a FEAR infection? Those were never good.
Giggling, she still said, "Of course I'm sure!" Moure still just couldn't get his mind wrapped around the concept of "gifts" it seemed. Danny wasn't phased though (well let's face it, she wasn't phased by much). After the gifts she had brought from home, she was used to it.
A slight chill stirred the air, but Danny didn't assume anything. It was just the undead dorms being cold, that was all.
"Sure you're okay?" Danny said quietly. His face gave him away. After spending what felt like a month in the Haunted House, she got to know her friends quite well, and Moure was not being his usual self. She continued, "'Cause you don't look too hot." Puns. Ha.

Moure gave her slight smile when she patted his arm, although he had no idea what Danny was suspecting about his current state of health. He just figured she was meaning the pat as a form of encouragement to continue on after the whole ordeal.
Moure gave her a grin and a bit of a chuckle. "If you're sure." Moure didn't often get gifts, so his was peculiar. What was more unusual about the whole thing was how well wrapped the gift was. Danny didn't usually take the time to wrap something so thoughtfully, at least not from Moure's experience. (He may or may not have been thinking back to after Prom when Straye had shown up in a cardboard box wrapped in newspaper.) Hopefully this time there wouldn't be a poor minipet trapped in the box.
Moure gave a nod, his mind still trying to figure how he would tell Danny about Edel and just in general reeling from the Haunted House, and a slight grin again. He was touched that Danny cared so much, and that she was being insightful enough to figure out that Moure was still a bit shaken."I'm okay. Just so much happened during that whole mess, you know?" He said, stroking Straye for a moment as the foxfire wandered by. "What about you, are you okay? Are you sure you're fine?" He'd seen Danny go down, and seen that she'd had to be carried to the tents. Was she okay now?
Gibralter perked up from where he was perched up on the desk, being the ever-present bodyguard against the Invader and her flames, his ears flicking up in the air. Something had stirred outside the room, and was still there. The boogeymon sniffed, then lept down to the floor, before moving to the front of the door. There was a familiar scent outside...Gibralter backed up, then lept to the door and grappled for a hold on the handle, which pulled down to open the door, just slightly. The reptilian-fur-pelt-wearing minipet poked his nose out and slipped into the hallway. He looked up to see Edel, the friendly one, and wagged his tail a bit, making a slight grumbling of happiness at seeing her. As far as the minipet knew, Edel was just over for another game of Scario Kart. The door slowly inched further and further open. At this rate, it would open more or less completely within a few minutes.

Edel had a palms together and pressed at her lips as she tried to compose herself. She had no idea why she was feeling a sense of nervousness as she braced herself to knock on the door. It was just going to be a simple request, hopefully not too much to ask of the patchwork boil. Yes, she was just going to have a casual chat with Moure about some rather grim and not-so-grim issues, so why was she getting so worked up? The frost demon quickly brushed those thoughts aside and raised her hand to knock on the door.
Before she could rap her knuckles against the wooden surface, a clicking sound was made and the door slowly crept open to reveal Gibralter. “Why hello there!” The ghoul was rather amused at his little greeting and bent down to pick the minimon up before knocking on the ajar door and peeking her head in. And that's when she saw.
Danny. Moure. In bed. Her head was a jumble of fragmented thoughts. Edel blinked her eyes twice, widening her eyes so she could take a clearer look.
Right, let's do this one more time. Danny was in Moure's bed, patting his arm and the two of them looking rather friendly-towards-intimate. Was she intruding on something? Yes she was intruding on something.
It took awhile for the ghoul to be released from her stunned state, snapping out of it with an awkward cough and an aversion of her eyes from the scene. It took a while more before she could break the awkward silence with speech.
“I am so sorry for intruding, please excuse me.” Edel quickly withdrew her head from the opening and turned around to lean against the wall outside. Gibralter had to give an uncomfortable squirm before the ghoul realised that she was still carrying him, prompting her to set him back down on the floor and go back to leaning against the wall. Shock? Surprise? Well, the ghoul thought that she should have figured it out the first time since the FMC club meeting. From the way Danny had reacted? Yeahhhhh, maybe that was the hint. The frost demon had her hands covering her burning-up face. There was also an upwelling of an unknown feeling inside of her as the frost demon took a few breaths to recover from the shock.
Right, perhaps she should leave them alone now, yes. Edel was about to make her way back to her dorm before she stopped herself. Why was she running away again? She could very well just ask to borrow Moure for a minute or two before leaving the two to their own business. Those issues she had in mind also happened to be on the rather urgent side ... though one maybe not so anymore...
Side-stepping so that her back was still facing the entrance of the dorm, the ghoul gave two light knocks on the already open door before calling out, “Er, may I borrow Moure for just a minute or so?”

It really was getting colder. Danny was shivering now, for reasons she wasn't quite aware of. She yanked Moure towards her in an attempt to keep warm, even as he continued to ask if she was okay.
Suddenly the she-demon herself burst through the door, and Danny's facial expression changed drastically.
<8') .... >B|
"No. No you may not," she mocked. Danny hooked her arm in Moure's, clearly posessive. She may have told Roch that she would try and get along with Edel but ... Roch wasn't here.

As Danny pulled Moure over, he had to lean slightly from the chair he was sitting in so he wouldn't fall out. "Whoa Danny what's wrong? I set out that blanket for you, remem--" Moure's statement was cut off as he heard the door swing open and saw Danny's expression tilt toward the absolute opposite of what it had just been. Moure turned, looking over to see Edel standing in his doorway, looking rather shocked and horrified all at the same time.
It took Moure about five seconds to comprehend what this must've looked like to Edel. And then his face expression turned to one of "Ohcrudno"
This couldn't be happening. But it was.
"Wait no Edel it's not like that!" Came Moure's first frantic response. No no no no, this couldn't be happening. Why, why did Moure have such rotten luck when it came to situations with ghouls?
As Edel began to remove herself from the room and then request a moment of Moure's time, he quickly distangled his arm from Danny's when she attempted to hook it around her own. He'd rather take his own arm off than let Edel walk away thinking that. He bolted from the chair, quickly moving to the door and throwing it open to reveal Edel's long blue hair as she faced away from the door. He quickly sidestepped around her so he could face the frost demon without making her turn around. "Edel, please, it's not like that. There's nothing going on between me and Danny." His expression was distraught, and Moure's face had always been an open one. Hopefully Edel could see the truth in it. After all, he was telling the truth. There would never be something romantic between himself and Danny. Never. "She just came by to check on me since we were on the same team on the field trip. It's the same as Roch calling me, and me going to go see if G's alright." Which reminded Moure that he still needed to go do that, but for now, there were more important things at hand.
Like making sure that someone he cared for deeply didn't walk away from him due to a misunderstanding.
Moure's expression was pleeding with Edel to understand, to realize that he was telling the truth. He didn't want to lose Edel. Not after what happened on the field trip. Not again.
Gibralter, after getting released by Edel, stared at the Invader with unmasked rage. How could that fire demon make this so hard on his master? Moure had told his minipet about how he'd been feeling about Edel, and while the boogeymon didn't understand much of what Moure really said about it, he could understand that Moure was happy when he talked about her. And Gib really didn't like the Invader, all things considered. The boogeymon turned to look back at his Runner and the nice ghoul, then moved towards them. When he got to Edel's ankle, he gave it a nudge in Moure's direction, then moved to Moure's side and gave him a similar push. The boogeymon then sat between the two and looked up at the icy demoness's face with an expression that pretty much read off as, "Please take back my master, he's telling the truth! Please make up! Q A Q" and then gave her the biggest eyes he could make. Gibralter was doing everything he could to make Edel understand too, apparently. (Well, as much as a minimon who wasn't really informed about these sort of things could do, anyway.) After all, if it came down to it, Gib would take Edel over Danny in a heartbeat.

Something inside the frost demon might have just snapped at Danny's comment, her eyes narrowing and her expression Not Happy but she did not turn around. Alright then, she would leave them alone!
"Wait no Edel it's not like that!"
Moure's words stopped her as she was just about it leave. Something like a feeling of relief entered her as she heard that. The ghoul would soon find Moure by her side desperately explaining the situation to her, bearing only the sincerest words and expressions. Her heart was pounding and she didn't know why. He moved her and she believed him.
“I-I uh” her words were cut off she as looked down at Gibraltar which just nudged her. It seemed that he too was pleading with her. Edel's expression could not help but waver.
“I believe you.”
Now the question is, how would Danny handle Moure's apparent betrayal?

She could feel the ties already breaking, but Moure leaving her grip was the final straw. Danny's eyebrows furrowed deeply. Not in anger or sadness, just betrayal. Deep, deep betrayal. It was like trying to figure out that math problem in class, but no one would ever help you with it. Well you know what you do with hard math problems?
YOU RAGE QUIT THEM.
Danny stormed out of the room, chucking a box at Edel as she did. Stupid ice princess. Steal all of her friends why don't you? First Roch let her in the music club- she should have never allowed that! Then this whole mess would have never have happened.
Now Moure was suddenly her little lap dog? When did that even happen? This was unfair! Who was next- Rikki? Would Edel steal that too?
No wait, Danny wouldn't let her. The fire demoness marched back to the twosome, picked up Moure (PICKED UP MOURE) and left. Where she was going, she didn't know, but Jackdammit she was GOING.

Moure's face flooded with relief as Edel said she believed him about what had happened. He didn't know what he'd have done if the Frost Demon hadn't understood. A little smile jumped to his face, and he gave a shaky nod. "Thank you."
His expression of relief slid into one of disbelief as Danny stormed out of his room, and threw one of the boxes at Edel. He couldn't move fast enough to intercept the box, but he did give the fire demon a look and said, "Danny, that wasn't very--" But then, she had turned around and charged over to where he was standing with Edel. For a split second Moure thought she was just going to punch the blue-haired ghoul, but the flame demon apparently had something else in mind.
Which was apparently to just take off with Moure over her shoulder. As he was slung over her shoulder, he tried to pull out of her grip, but couldn't. His Runner's frame was definitely working against him in this case, since he was built to be as light as possible. He reached out toward the frost demon as he was carried off. "Edel! Gah, Danny, put me down! Where do you think you're taking me? Where are we even going?"
Where ever it was they were going, Moure had the uncanny feeling that he was going to be stuck as the 'damsel-in-distress' when they got there.

Edel fumbled the box that was chucked at her, eventually getting a good hold on it and then panicked a little when she realised that something was moving inside. Never mind that for now, the flame demon was marching over and looking ever so ready to create a dent in her face. Bring it, she thought, I've been punched in the face before so -
Apparently, not. Danny had been gunning for something more. Like Moure.
Edel's eyes grew very wide as once again, the flame demon picked up the patchwork boil and carried him off. Edel threw her hand out dramatically to catch Moure's outstretched one ... but to no avail. PRINCESS, I'LL SAVE YOU. *whistle call for her trusty white steed* Sorry, deathcharger not available. She would just have to run after those two. In heels.Exit to battle
