 Nekane paced slightly at the prides edge, the pride she'd been raised in was no more. It had all changed a great deal and now she wondered if it was time that she left, but with a glance back over her shoulder, she spied the form of her mother padding towards her, and she knew...she'd stay with her mother.
Her father disappearing without word had been to much for her young mother and it showed greatly on her, she was thin and appeared to be shrinking. This only made the young lioness angry...she could remember her mothers laughing smiling face, the love and warmth that had just oozed from her..and now she was a shell. She'd never forgive him for that...never. Neph looked to her daughter, and though the eyes that gazed back were her own, she could see so much of Moyo in her that it made her heartache painfully, but she smiled at her beautiful daughter. "Pacing like that is going to make you crazy.." She teased gently, she knew her little girl was all grown up now, and had very grown up feelings about the father that left her, but Neph couldnt help but hold out hope that one day the hate would go away, that her daughter wouldnt be marred by such a dark feeling.
It wasnt only Moyo's fault, but her own for letting her feelings effect her in such a way.

It had been a few days now since the lioness had joined the pride. However with all of the excitement of all of the celebrations that were going on in the pride there wasn't much word of her and Rowtag joining. They just basically slipped into the pride unnoticed, that was a little comforting. She knew that it was nice because Rowtag didn't have the stress of many lions paying attention to her. She really had no problem at all going unnoticed. She had no problem at all with going unnoticed except for the fact that it mean her sister probably didn't know she was there. Today she was pretty sure was a good day to find her sister. It was morning time and she left Rowtag sleeping in the den. She woke him up to tell him she was going to be away. It almost sounded as if she was taking care of a child but he was an adult male and she really just liked to make sure that he was safe. She cared about him a lot.
She trotted toward the borders of the pride. She wasn't sure if her sister was going to be out here but she knew that she just wanted to walk and wake up for a little while and not only that but get a hang of the area around the pride. She wasn't used to walking around in these kinds of areas. She liked getting used to them, it was interesting, new sights were very exciting to her. She paused for a moment as she heard a voice. Her ears perked up and she stood up straight. Before she could even really think about it she was off running toward the sound that she heard. She knew that voice she had heard it before. She raced as quickly as she could and as she got closer she slowed down peaking through the bushes and looking at what she saw. A Brown lioness, she didn't look that much like her sister... Miw was a little upset at this that was unilt she looked to the side and saw her sister.
"Nephthys?"

Before she could make a reply to her mother, the voice of another lioness caught her attention, her head turned as she spied the face of the lioness peering through the bush.
Her looks were simular enough to her own mother that it caused her to fall in line beside her mother, almost like a cub would. "Mom..who is that?" She asked.
The voice, she'd know that voice anywhere, turning Nephs face broke into a huge grin. "Miw-Sher!" She exclaimed, and even though her face was grinning and she sounded happy, her eyes still held their sorrow filled look.
"What are you doing here?!" She exclaimed happily as she padded towards the bush. "Playing by yourself?"

Miw looked at her sister curiously, and the other lioness. Mom? Miw was guessing that this was one of her nieces and nephews, this was nice to her. She was glad to see one of them. She was upset that they were all grown up. She wished that she could have been around to help take care of them and maybe take some stress off of her sister. It was too late to regret that past now, though. And Miw was here now and she was determined to help her sister with what ever she could. She flicked her tail around behind her and a grin grew on her face she she moved out of the bushes and then looked toward her sister a little more and giggled.
"I'm here for good!" She told her sister flicking her tail around behind her. "I told you I was going to head this way and join the pride. I just got a little distracted along the way." She laughed a little before flicking her hair out of her eyes and nodding at the other lioness. She then turned toward the brown lioness. "Im' assuming you're my neice. It's very nice to meet you!" She giggled before trotting over to her sister and nuzzling her before turning toward the other lioness and also nuzzling her. "It's a long story of why I was distracted." She laughed nervously as she flopped down on her haunches and then flicked her hair out of her eyes. "but I'm glad to be here it's a beautiful pride."

Neph nuzzled her sister in return, so happy to have family with her once again. She purred deeply before she nodded her head, "This is my daughter, though you have three nephews running around somewhere." She said with a shake of her head.
"Oh long story hmm?" She teased as she relaxed and shook her head with a soft laugh, oh how it felt so good to laugh. "I am so happy youve finally made it!"
She nuzzled her aunt in return, though she felt a bit strange about it. Her mother had spoken often about her family, but Nekane hadnt thought she'd really meet any of them. "Im Nekane'Gita but everyone just calls me Nekane." She said with a smile as she stretched herself out beside her mother.
"Mom has told us all about you and our grandparents..Its nice to finally meet you."

Miw looked at the lioness and the smiled a little more, she was really happy to be in a place that she could call home and be comfortable, and with her family. "It is very nice to meet you Nekane. You are a beautiful lioness just like your mother. You kind of look like your grandmother too." Miw was talking about Sadiki, she loved her 'mother'. Her and Neph's real mother she didn't remember at all. She highly doubted that Neph did either. This little lioness was realted to Sadiki though, Moyo was raised with her and Neph and Moyo was Sadiki's son. She was very happy to see Sadiki in the younger lioness."Actually that is part of the reason that I took so long." She explained before looking back toward her sister. "I lead mom and dad to a pride not that far off, it is called the Dawnwalkers, Mom and dad wanted to go there." She nodded once again before flicking her hair out of her eyes.
"My nephews would be running around." She commentedwith a nice chuckle. "Boys tend to wander and do what they like." She joked to her sister before flicking her hair out of her eyes. What have you been up to?"

"I wish mom and dad could have seen them first.." Neph said with a soft sigh, but she shrugged her shoulders. "Somewhere warm for them to retire to then eh?" She grinned and giggled, she adored her step mother like she was her birthmother. She had long ago replaced that lioness to Neph, and now with her own children grown, Neph found herself alone to think about things she never really did before.
"Raising the cubs, helping out with the ill and dying sort of thing." She said with a nod, "Keeping busy as best I can." She said as she glanced away for a second.

"I wished they could have seen them too...' Her voice trailed for a moment before she shook her head. "They were getting old though and didn't want to travel much any more. And I really wanted them settled some where before I went off on my own." Miw was one of the last that was with her mother and her father. She stayed with them for a long time and now she was happy to have settled some where different, she knew that they were safe and the strange lioness could now enjoy some time being young and being with others. Although she was old enough to have a litter of her own, she didn't and she was still full of life and happy.
"They did retire some where warm." She laughed and then thought about her sister's career. "i've been sort of doing the same. It was part of the reason it took me so long getting here. I've been traveling with a male named Rowtag. He is rather large and apparently from a pride that call themselves the firekin. At first I didn't know what to do with him but he's gottenb etter since I started traveling with him." She said with a nod.
