Bounding through the tress and jumping over the bushes, Sprite enjoyed a good run during the day to keep up with her fitness but also to enjoy the freedom is provided. After what seemed like miles upon miles that was eaten up with her swift pace, she slowed down until she came across a small pond with the water glittering under the sun.
Licking her lips with thirst the bright green and yellow female trotted over to greedily drink her fill. Finishing up Sprite looked around her at the beauty that nature shamelessly shared around her. Smiling, the bright colored female frolicked and played around in the bushes that were blooming with ripe, edible berries and other bushes that had flowers with sweet scents coming from them. Having fun, Sprite laughed joyously and tumbled about. It wasn't like anyone was going to come around and tell her she was acting like a pup.

Trotting over to his usual spot, Spooky suddenly heard something. Looking around he spotted a bright green female rolling about and laughing. He snickered to himself, licking a few spots on his orange fur, to look cleaner, he slowly strolled out from behind a tree.
He glanced over at the female smiling and giggling to himself a bit, just waiting for her to notice him as he went to drink from the water.

Having the time of her life, the she wolf rolled around until she heard the sound of giggling but thought it came from her. Yet when she rolled to her stomach and lifted her head, there was a orange and black wolf. Freezing she just stared in surprise and in apprehension. Maybe this was his territory....No, it couldn't have been since he was drinking water and not approaching her to let her know it was his home.
Tilting her head to the side, she took a closer look at the...male, it had to be a male because he had a seemingly strong build with dazzling shades of orange and black markings. Standing up, she shook herself off and slowly approached this male, looking a bit bashful at the idea that he might have saw her acting like a pup. Clearing her throat, she was a few feet away from him, watching a bit cautiously but with a friendly look all the same."Um...Excuse me...Ah.....I'm not...trespassing on your territory right?" Poor Sprite was starting to become shy and worried that she was on his territory.

Spooky looked up at the green female, interrupted from his drinking. "Oh... sorta. I actually live up yonder a bit." He pointed his muzzle up beyond the trees. "I do come here a lot though... and I don't recall ever seeing you before..." He puffed out his chest a bit, trying to impress the female. He didn't get to see many and he thought her fur looked a rather stunning green. "So what brings a pretty female like you this far out?" He walked over to her a bit, carefully placing himself in front of her.

Sprite was about to answer this stranger when his words sunk into her mind more clearly. Did he actually call her pretty? Like....pretty? Blinking some she felt herself look sheepishly at this orange and black male. She noticed that he had come closer and seemed larger at this distance. Deep in her mind it was impressive. But she wouldn't tell him that especially when they are just speaking!
Mentally shaking herself, Sprite kept her sheepish look and looked around. "I was just passing through after a long run. I couldn't rest the way the water looked and....Well..." She looked bashful and hoped the male didn't think her a ninny or something. It was the first time she's actually spoken to a male this closer to her and who took an interest in speaking with her. "I couldn't resist enjoying the day. As for what brings me here...I...I really don't know. You see I've just travelled far and wide...."
There seem to be a shrug but the green and yellow female smiled at this orange and black stranger relaxed and at ease in his presence. "Now look where my manners have gone....My name is Sprite. What is yours?"

Spooky smiled broadly at her, rather enjoying how shy the female seemed to be getting. He thought it made her all the prettier. He carefully looked her over as she spoke, attempting to take in any particular manerisms about her. "It's fine. I like to share my area with others, unless they try and take my place of course. But you wouldn't be trying to take my place, right?" He smirked at her, getting a bit closer to her.
He sniffed around her a bit, hoping she didn't notice too much. "Yeah? Travelling is nice... But I rather enjoy my home... It's pretty nice here..." He looked out over the water. "My family came from a rather long distance. My pack decided to depart and left my family here. My mother was sick and couldn't continue. So, I've continued to stay. Not too many others wander around these parts." He breathed in the air deeply.
Spooky smiled, sitting down and relaxing a bit in frotn of the female. "My name is Spooky. I'm very pleased to meet you Sprite."

Blinking some she listened to the male's responses and shook her head quickly, perking her ears up. "Oh no! I could never do that. Your bigger than me." Sprite said with a small pout that made her cute as she spoke the truth. This male did appear to be bigger or maybe he puffed himself up to appear so. No, it couldn't be, just look at how close he was to her.
Looking around she sat down with this male and nodded in agreement. "Your right...It is nice here. I can see why you wouldn't leave." Sprite smiled widely at the male when he said his name. Spooky. For some reason it suited him and she liked the sound of the name rolling through her head. "Spooky....I like that name. It's an honor to meet you. Do you mind that I'm here? I really like it here and would only stay until night fell when the air is cooler"
The she-wolf didn't like imposing on others and since Spooky was being so kind to her it was only fair that she asked if she could be here. After all, he might have called her pretty but he wouldn't be attracted her. She was too nice and easy going to be attractive. At least that was what she thought.

Spooky chuckled at her. "What would me being bigger have to do with anything?" He looked her over, thinking she wasn't that much smaller than he was. But compared, she did look it. And she was awefully pretty...
Spooky nodded and smirked. "It's always been nice here... Nothing has come to taken it yet either... So it's good." He winked at her, smiring even more. "Glad you like you. You have a cute name yourself darlin'. I don't mind at all. Sometimes gets lonely here and whatnot. You can stay as long as you want my dear."
He moved a bit closer to her again, sitting back down next to her. He thought her fur looked nice and silky from this close up. He was willing to bet that her fur was nice and soft and fluffy too... He liked soft and fluffy....

Sprite was about to say something about him being a male and thus the larger of the two sexes when he smirked at her. If anything he smirked nicely and not in some creepy bad guy sort of way like she has seen on others. No, he smirked like he was...flirting.
Eyes widening when he winked and called her darlin' the she wolf ducked her head shyly so unused to having such male attention but for some odd reason or another this complete stranger didn't make her feel uncomfortable. If anything he made her feel relaxed and flattered! "Are you sure? I don't want to impose or anything. But if you don't mind it, I promise to keep out of your way and not bother you for anything...."
Poor Sprite was becoming slightly nervous, in a cute way, as Spooky say next to her close enough for her to study the lovely orange hue of his fur and how the black went well with it. She also found herself studying his markings and finding them interesting and unique just like hers. Of course it was better than rambling and sounding like some pup. Staring at his coat, Sprite had this odd thought of what it would be like to cuddle close to him. Would his fur be fluffy? Or smooth and comfortable? What was wrong with her?!

Spooky looked at her, kinda wondering what was going through her head.
Spooky laughed a bit and winked at her again. "I am positive. You aren't imposing at all. I can assure you or that. And no need to stay out of my way either. I wouldn't want to not see you again." Spooky stood and stretched.
He shook out his fur a bit and smiled at her. "Would you like to see my home? I mean, we could stay here all night, but it gets rather cold and damp in the early hours of the morning. Especially with the fog that settles over everything. And we don't want that pretty fur of yours to end up matted." Spooky smiled broadly at her and turned to face away from the lake. "So, would you like to come with me?"

Stuttering softly, Sprite shook her head to get herself out of this odd reaction towards this male. Clearing her throat and feeling the warmth on her face, no doubt she was blushing prettily, the she wolf nodded. "I would like to see your home." [darkgreen]Agreeing to Spooky, she stood up and looked down bashfully at the compliment to her fur.
"It's not that pretty. Your fur is by far the prettiest I've ever seen on a male." Sprite complimented the male with sincerely. Standing up and shaking out her fur she smiled brightly at Spooky and stood next to him. "Then lead the way Spooky." Again for some reason, she enjoyed saying his name and immensely enjoyed standing next to him. It gave her butterflies in her stomach.

Spooky smiled broadly and puffed out his chest a bit "We should be getting on to my place then. Wanna be sure you can see it when the sun is a bit lower. Has a really nice view." Spooky winked at her as she looked down.
Spooky laughed loudly. "Well, I don't believe you are a male, so comparing my fur to yours is kinda silly." Spooky winked at her again, watching how she moved toward him. She was elegant looking. There was no doubt in his mind about that. "I certainly shall." Spooky started off toward his home.
"Would you like a bit of a tour as we go? We don't have too far to go, but the trees are pretty and there are these nice smelling plants a little way from my home."

Sprite looked up and smiled gently at the male. He was truly a sweet heart and that was a true first. Perhaps she shouldn't be so shy and see where this could lead to. Playfully nudging Spooky, the green and yellow she wolf looked around a bit. "Ah, true but from my travels and passing through with the every so often encounter with others, your fur is by far the best."
Giving a playful smile she listened to this intriguing male, her pretty-in-pink eyes showed her awe and wonder at what he was telling her. "I would like a tour. I find your home to be most peaceful. Especially with a courteaous host." Sprite said with a wink of her own.

Spooky smiled at Sprite. "Oh yeah? Well... thank you very much then... How many others have you met? I don't meet very many out here myself." He playfully bumped her.
Spooky puffed himself up a bit, enjoying hearing her appreciation. "Alright. Well, first, let's head this way then." Spooky pointed over to the left. "This would be the place with the best things to smell. All the pretty flowers."

(No worries mines been acting up too lol)
Giggling, Sprite pouted slightly at the playful bump, doing it back to him lightly. "I've met quite a few other wolves, not so much but just a hand full. Your actually the only one who's welcomed me without too much caution." The she-wolf had come across a few other wolves some very cautious while others could have just amused themselves to have company. Yet that didn't make it less exciting. Sprite liked meeting others and meeting Spooky was apart of that.
Blinking some, the female couldn't figure out why anyone wouldn't come around here and be greeted with such a nice male. "That's a shame that you dont meet very many out here. I think they are missing out on meeting a very nice wolf with a equally nice place." She said with a smile.
Blinking some more, she followed him to the left and perked her ears forward at the mention of flowers. She really did like flowers and smiled. Already she could catch the delicate and sweet aroma of the flowers. "Oh....It smells so lovely here.
