((Stuff came up and Nyx's partner had to back out. For fun and rp sake Nyx's first round is now against Bimini. Nyx is predetermined to win.))
Please randomize between 1-3, I will be randomizing between 1-2 after my first post. heart
1 = miss
2 = light hit, - 1hp
3 = big hit, - 2hp

He wasn't even quite sure why he'd signed up for this little game. Maybe to practice and train.. or to make Camelot proud. He was actually surprised not to see Camelot hanging around as the competitors appeared, but at least some of the other Knights of Destiny were there! Seeing ALL the new and strange people was amazing though! When he wasn't fighting people he was busy mingling and bothering as many new faces as he could manage.
But yeah.. he was very much a pacifist whenever possible. So when his name actually got called for the first time.... There was a sudden heaviness in his stomach, more worry then he probably should have had filling him.
Stepping to the field he offered his usual jovial smile to his opponent, gripping his bowl carefully in one hand, as he raised the other in a soft wave. "I'm Bimini, page of the Cosmos"
His ornaments were tied, one up high on his shoulder, and one lower, settled in the middle of his ridiculously long and sparkley sash. "Umm... are you ready?" Please don't hit me too hard!!! he thought silently.

No matter how the message for this "Duel of Destiny" had ended up on her phone, it had wheedled its way into her mind as a good idea despite its mysteriousness. Meeting other senshi and honing some skills? Alright! She had seen the multitudes at The Surrounding and had been awed at the power created there; she had to be a stronger part of that. Just jumping higher and running faster (which seemed to come with the suit, so to speak) apparently wasn't going to be enough. Better to learn here, against her allies, than against giant monstrosities in space and Generals that would snap civilian's necks.
Nyx had eyed her partner, with her attention also trained to the ornaments secured at her shoulder and waist. His cordial greeting was welcome in this situation and the smile infectious. A Page of Cosmos, huh? That explained why he reminded her of Naica -- that Page didn't seem very threatening, but that didn't mean she was going to underestimate this one.
"Sailor Nyx, senshi of phantasmagoria," she returned, "And I'm quite ready!" Taking advantage of the situation -- as it might be her only one -- she took the first strike at one of Bimini's ornaments. It was punch-grab move, meant to latch on and crush if the direct strike didn't succeed.

"Phantasmagoria" He parroted back the sphere in soft interest, clearly one of the more mysterious and cool sounding one he'd come across. What could she do he wondered, for a moment hoping it wasn't as intense or scary as Draconis' fire breathing.
It wasn't strange that she was the first to attempt at a hit, and Bimini pulled back instintively, hopping back as his arms extended forward, trying to use his bowl and longer arms to keep her back from him and maybe hit her too. He had the height advantage after all, maybe he'd get lucky!!
Unfortunately she had been a little too quick, and one of his ornaments swung with a loud tink of glass as it almost jostled off of him, knocked loose almost to the point of falling off him and shattering. It was barely hanging on by a string anymore!

HP: 5 - 1 = 4
Though she hadn't been able to catch her opponent off guard, Nyx still managed to discombobulate his ornaments to a nice extent. Leading with her fists was turning out to be one of her most successful fighting techniques, if it could be called that. She attributed it to nearly dragging around stubborn horses and carrying their heavy tack around the barn. The trick here was to not simply aim for the face, which was proving tricky.
She skid to a halt a few feet away, trying to keep a middle distance between them. His long physique was an advantage she hadn't counted on and, glancing at the ornament on her shoulder, she noticed that he had clipped her during her run at him.
"Good move, water boy."
Nyx gave a closer look to Bimini's water-filled bowl -- it was strange for a weapon, but so were all of the weapons of the Pages she had met. This one still managed to be rather 'weildy', though. Maybe she could do something about that.
This time, Nyx made a grab for said bowl, but missed!

Even missing it was a good strategy, one that he didn't see employed as often as he thought it should be. When it was a solider with a real and dangerous weapon getting it away from your opponent was one of the first thoughts that crossed your mind. But with knights... with as useless as their weapons seemed.. well he didn't have to deal that often with someone trying to take it from him or knock it away. And so he had stumbled a little as she grazed the bowl before steadying himself and his grip, pulling it protectively back for a moment.
That didn't last however.
"Oh you wanted this?" He chirped jovially, pleasantly. She wanted the bowl? He'd give her the bowl. Reaching out his arms out he swung like a battering ram at the senshi, slooshing water out onto himself in the motion.

The miss had compromised the position of her ornaments, a mistake that cost Sailor Nyx a jolt to the one on her waist before she could jump back entirely. Now she had the fun of defending two cracked ornaments -- a lesson to either stay away from pages and their weapons or to do a better job of snatching them.
She should have been furious with herself for the mistake -- a second mistake -- but the sight of a slightly soggy Bimini brought up two very different emotions, one after the other. First, concern, for Sailor Nyx didn't know if it was actually only water in there. Once the lack of screaming horror confirmed that it wasn't simply sparkly acid, there was amusement. She giggled lightly, in a terrible show of battlefield etiquette, proving that not all of her psyche had settled into the idea of being a hardened soldier of war. (It helped that she wasn't staring down a youma, though.)

"Ohhhhh. Think that's funny huh?" His grin was however equally huge, quite used to getting doused and drenched.
"Who wouldn't want to get magic 'fountain of youth' water on them? Keeps the face young and dashingly handsome." He actually stopped a moment to offer a mild muscle flexing. Only.. there really weren't muscles to be flexed, and you really couldn't see them under all the girly and pastel robes!
"Here you should have some!" It seemed the fight had downgraded a little to a water fight of sorts, and instead of actually trying to hit her, he simply sloshed his bowl at her, sending a spray of the remaining water headed harmlessly enough at her.
