It never bothered me before in 1v1's because it doesn't matter who you're facing, but now that I've been playing nothing but team games lately, it's becoming incredibly frustrating, when you're the ONLY English speaking person on your whole ******** team.
How do you communicate and act as a team if people don't even understand each other? Try asking my partner to use his scan on the banshees when he's floating on 140 energy on both of his orbitals, over and over and over again, and I get nothing because he doesn't even understand me.
I hate this.

If I had to guess, SA didn't have enough players, so they merged them to reduce finding time and make the "Americas" more diverse? I dunno. The American server usually has a different metagame than the Korean server at the same time, and maybe SA's metagame was never changing and they wanted to mess it up?
If I had to guess, you might actually find some real answers on the blizz forums, as someone might know why/have a link. Or if you're somehow really lucky, someone from blizz would comment on it lol.
I know what you mean though, when I played League of Legends a lot, a bunch of Brazilians were on the NA server, and they hardly talked at all, if even in english. If it was even english, they were terrible at it 99% of the time. So a lot of games were lost due to lack of skill on other players, and unable to help with because of a language barrier.
