You must be quick though, for you never know what dangers lie deep within the depths of this river. That or your fellow Tributes might decided to drown you as you attempt to cross.
Either way, May the Odds be Ever in Your Favor.

Quietly all of the Tributes are lifted up the Launching Pad and a bust of blinding light hits them as they are finally seeing the Arena for the first time. The river right in front of them at first looks daunting but there across it is the silver glimmering Cornucopia! There it's littered with weapons, food, and other equipment.
Just then startling them out of their trance of first seeing the Arena a loud voice comes shouting over the Arena.
"10...9...8...7...6...5...4...3...2...1" Then with the bang of a gong was the signal for the start of the...124th Hunger Games!

GINGER ICECRYSTAL DISTRICT 12 Tribute After what seemed like hours of sitting on the bench a peacekeeper came and scooted me up.I was in the launching pad now as it closed my hands went against the glass perhaps saying my goodbyes.Once the tube was up and on the surface the tube opened up I looked around for the cornicurpia.There it was right in front of us but wait we have to swim across that river.The national anthem played and they started the count down.I had to hold my self still untill they can finish or I would be blown up.They finally got down to 10.9.... 8.....7......6.....5....4......3...... I took a deep breath.2.....1 Let the games begin!As soon as I heard them call 1 my heart stopped and I frozed.I looked at every one else running so finally I ran and jumped into the water.
When I came up it was freezing cold but I had to continue onward.I was swimming not paying attention to anyone else just continueing onward untill I reached the cornacurpia.I ran full speed ahead grabbing the first item with ease then sliding for the next as someone else went for it I saw how angry that tribute was so I decided to head off now before they grabbed a weapon.I looked back not slowing my speed down to see thomas catch my eye on were I am going.I figured perhaps he will follow if we are allies.
I ran threw a small forest and kept running untill I came to this huge waterfall.I was at awe for words and very teird but I decided I had to keep running untill I got somewhat far enough.I ran on ahead deep in the waterfall area.- ------Excit into waterfalls-------

Quickly he closed his eyes imaged the faces of his family members. 'I'll be home soon Ma, Pa, Gram, Sis...you guided me Zeus all these years. Please help me now. I'm going to need it.' He sent a mental prayer to those who he loved. Deep in his heart he wants do nothing but go home and hug his family but right now he has to earn that. Tao was prepared to earn it.
As the platform rose a blinding light shined down, he quickly shielded his eyes until they adjusted and there slowly he was being brought up to ground level. The first gimps of the Arena was at first nothing but water, which finally explained the tight wet suit as their Tribute outfit, but as he let his eyes wander he saw much more. Plenty of forests (or where the rainforests? Tao couldn't tell), a mountain, the sound of a waterfall off in the distance, and who knows what else was hiding in those trees.
Finally when the platform stopped and for the first time he looked around to the other Tributes. He didn't notice at first but saw they were placed in pairs with their District! He quickly looked to his right and saw Morrigan standing there. He gave her a small smirk and a reassuring nod, hopefully she could see he was happy to see her there. This gave him a sudden burst of energy and excitement. He started bouncing on his toes, like he would whenever he would fight in a match. It always hyped him up and it was helping here even in the Arena, which surprised him.
Just then a loud booming voice filled the Arena. The bland male voice started a countdown. "10...9...8...7...6...", Tao could feel his body going up on his toes, "5...4...", His body beginning to hunch over, "3...", His head focused, "2...", His fists clench, "1...", His heart beating wildly in anticipation...Then with the strike of the gong signaled the start of the 124th Hunger Games!
Like everyone else, Tao jumped into the river. It was freezing cold at first but luckily due to the adrenaline pumping wildly through his veins he could ignore it. As he began to swim he could feel hands of a Tributes next to him grab his legs. Now Tao wasn't the best swimmer but he could do it without drowning but this didn't seem like the case for this Tributes as he continued to grab on to his ankle to keep himself up. In anger Tao kicked the boy's hand off of him and continued on as fast as he could.
Finally he reached the other side. He could see another Tribute, a girl from 12, already with items in hand running off into the rainforest. Just then others have just began to start fighting one another to get items at the Cornucopia. Tao had to grab something quickly, he didn't want any confrontation right now. The bloodbath was always the more feared part in the games. It's where the most deaths happen. Letting his feet carry him as fast as he could he ran towards a medium sized pack almost behind the Cornucopia. He had to knock over a girl in order to get it but when it was finally in his hands he slid into the rainforest.
Still feeling his excitement fill him with energy he ran along the forest hiding himself from the others for a moment. His eyes on the constant search for Morrigan and hoping she didn't get caught up with anyone. "Where are you Morrigan? Come on, you have to be somewhere." He whispered anxiously. Tao wasn't going to leave without her.  ┏━━━━━━━━━┓ ▪ ▪ ▪ ▪ ▪ Morrigan Lene Ravine x❤xxDistrict Five ▪ ▪ ▪ ▪ ▪ ┗━━━━━━━━━┛ Water, and lots of it. That was the first thing I was able to take in, for there was a large river sitting in place right in front of me, and right on the other side, I could take in the sight of the cornucopia. Of course, it couldn't be a quick dash across some uneven terrain, it had to be a long difficult swim to the other side. I was an average swimmer, but even still, it looked tiring for someone who knew how to swim well.
I looked to my left and I saw my fellow district partner, Tao, receiving a small smirk from him. To me, he looked completely at ease and quite ready to race to the cornucopia. I had no idea how he was so good at hiding his emotions, and it took all that was in me battling to be miserable to return a smile his way. I needed to be more like him, and that I would definitely try. As the numbers counted down, I gazed at the other side of the cornucopia, attempting to wash away all the fear from my face, and to focus only on my next goal. Get to the cornucopia, grab anything, find Tao, and get the hell out of there.
Once the voice reached zero, I dove into the water, letting the frigid cold wash away my anxiety as I kicked my arms and legs towards the opposite side of the river. My emotions were replaced with a focus stronger than I had ever felt. I would fight for this, I would return home. Nobody was going to get in my way and I was determined to keep to that promise. I already knew Tao was a dependable partner, so my concern for his survival was low. He was the best physical fighter in the games, so I was positive he would make it out of the cornucopia without more than a scratch.
I thankfully made it to the shore on good time, and there were only a few others picking over the supplies, but those in the water were still gaining on us, so I'd have to act fast. My eyes landed on my weapon of choice inside the cornucopia and I quickly made a mad dash to reach it, and that I did. This weapon was my key to a successful battle and now that I had it, I felt ten times more confident than I had previously been. My next goal was to grab a backpack of some sort, because there was always an assorted amount of goodies in them from what I had seen in the past. After I had scooped up the nearest one, I attempted to run out, but was thrown off balance by an overachieving district six girl. Alchemy, the girl who was thrown in here with her brother. I wouldn't have gone after her originally, but she was there with a scythe in her hand and a couple packs on her back, ready to take me out.
I'd have to do what it took to survive, and if it meant killing this girl, then I would do just that. She made the first move, by swinging her large weapon at me, and I was just able to jump over the top of the blade and she swung it at my feet in an attempt to cut them off. I landed on the top of her weapon, and quickly thrust my sword straight into her chest. Watching the life drain from her eyes, I felt a feeling that was so horrible, that I don't think I could ever find words to describe. I had just killed her. "I'm sorry." I whispered as she slowly began to drop to the ground. Once she was down for the count, I took the two items she had slung over her shoulders. I would at least have to make good use of what she had sacrificed her life for. With a heavy heart, I turned around and ran, my eyes instantly landing on Tao who looked like he had seen most of what happened. I felt shame boil up inside of me, and I was quick to hand him the tent kit. We would definitely move faster if I didn't have a pile of items to carry everywhere. "Let's try for those hills. We can go back over the river later on. I think that might be our best bet." I managed to say quickly to him, feeling like a murderous fiend the entire time. I don't know why he waited for me after what he saw, but I guess that's what a team was supposed to do. She was breathing hard, but grinning, as the countdown rang in her ears. She glanced around at the tributes, eyeing down the ones from District 1, since they could be potential allies. She turned her head the other way, skimming over all the weak ones. She did not want to frighten these little birds with promises she might not be able to keep, whether it be death or an alliance. "10...9...8..."
Finally, Arden turned her head to glare down at Khal. "7...6...5...4..." She sent him a look that said "if you survive this, you have a potential alliance". "3..." Arden turned her head back to face the vast body of water. "2..." She poised herself, getting ready for the jump. "1!"
The moment the bang sounded, Arden leaped off the platform and dived into the icy water. Water hit her face, fuelling the adrenaline rush. It felt good. Arden even received small lessons on how to swim in training back in D2, since they had to be prepared for anything that will come. With practiced strokes, Arden made it to the shore, wet. She raced forward and grabbed her bow and quiver, one she had been eyeing for a long time, and headed to the back of Cornucopia, waiting for tributes to strike down.
This was the bloodbath Arden had spent so long to compete in. Few tributes had already rushed off, there was a puny D12 girl almost asking for death as she ran off. Two kids, from D5 she believe, were reuniting and preparing to run. The girl had already struck down a D6 girl, one who Arden had been eyeing a few days before. That D6 girl was here with her brother. Too bad, so sad. And since the D5 girl managed to kill the sister, Arden may have to consider an alliance. Too bad she was with her little district partner. Maybe if he goes, Arden can swoop right in.
Arden, now having some time before other tributes swam in, swung her quiver behind her back, the familiar feel of a full quiver comforting. She took out one arrow and poised it on the bow, prepared to shoot the first person in sight. Then she would stay and kill a few more people, before picking up a survivor Career and taking off.
"Come on, come on!" GINGER ICECRYSTAL DISTRICT 12 Tribute I decided that the sunset was not gonna come soon enough and that the Blood bath at the cornucorpia had to be over atleast by now.So I took the quickest way atleast from what it looked like to the cornucopia from the mountains possible.Looking from in the bushes right across from were the launching pads were with the cornucorpia right in the middle I looked aroun there were a few straglers that loooked like they were making base there.I got up and was about to turn back when I saw the district 2 male tribute right behind attempting to strike me with a Thowing knife out a instinct I took my hunting knife and shoved it straight threw his heart.
My eyes widened as the tribute fell to the floor my eyes teared up."what have I done I whispered to my self for only me to hear." I wiped my tears away and figured maybe god wanted this but no this was a sin murdering someone the worst part was it was pure accident I didt want to do it I found no joy in doing it.I took all of his equipment puting it over my other pack I took the five throwing knives threw them in the pack and left back to the mountain's running with the rest of my energy going back to the small cave I was in.

Tao felt his jaw about drop when she did it but kept his composure. They still had to get out of there before anyone else could step in. Finally as she caught up with him in the area with trees she handed him the tent and listened to her suggestion of going to the hills. It would be the best move, though he couldn't help but wonder who would follow.
Just then a whooshing sound came flying past his head. "What the hell?!" He shouted as whatever it was startled him. He turned around and saw the District 6 male, his face full of anger and pain. No doubt he wanted revenge for the death of his sister. Tao turned his head to see what he had thrown, it was a nice sized throwing axe. It was pretty close to them too. If he wasn't so angry Tao imagined it would have hit one of them. Quickly Tao dropped his items next to Morrigan and took the axe from the tree. He wasn't going to let him get anywhere near her. The boy starting sprinting towards them, ready to attack. Tao held the axe with his left hand and also sprinted towards him as well in anger. Once then met in the middle the boy screamed at him and was about to slice him with the knife in his right hand. Luckily Tao was able to block his arm with the axe and quickly jabbed the boy with a punch in the face. This stunned and startled the boy, and as he dropped his knife Tao fiercely drove the axe into the side of his neck.
Tao didn't move for about a minute, he simply stared at the boy as he fell to the ground and began to bleed. A wave of chills came across his body and he felt his face gone cold...he had just murdered someone. For a moment it seemed like he wasn't going to move until but an urge pushed him to keep moving, that urge to earn to see his family again. He was earning it, this was just one step. Silently he snagged the rest of the throwing knives from his body and took out the axe. He hurried over to Morrigan, not looking at her, and gathered his things. Once shoving the knives into his pack and gathering the rest of the items he turned away from her with axe in hand. "Lets keep going..." He said sternly and a bit breathlessly as the images of what had happened just engraved themselves into his brain.

Ṽision without action is a daydream. Action without vision is a nightmare. Şo here we are, fighting and trying to hide the scars. I'll be home tonight, take a breath and softly say goodbye. Ͼ Ṧậřǟṅḗ Ṓṝïąňȇ Ẍấὴṫħĭş Ͽ ~Ͽ*Ͼ~ I stood at the platform, listening to the numbers count down. I looked around the arena, I had to take it all in fast, or else I would get killed. I took a deep breath, eyeing the water below me, I would have to swim to get to the Cornucopia. I had swam before, but I knew I wasn't a very strong swimmer, but I knew how to keep myself above water. "9," I watched the other tributes, I was pretty sure I wouldn't be involved in an alliance. Even though my training score was exactly what I had aimed for it to be, I was pretty sure no one would care for me to be in their alliance. That would be my biggest downfall at the moment, but, I knew that if anyone saw me fight, they would see that I had pretended to be weak. "5," I started to lean forward, preparing myself for the jump into the icy cold river. I looked at the gleaming Cornucopia, trying to spot something I'd need. Probably a pack of some sort, or a weapon. "3...2...1," I jumped off of my platform and into the cold river. I felt a rush of water go towards my nose and I snorted it out as I went under and began to swim. I moved quickly, feeling the cool water rush past my face. I moved my head towards the surface trying to keep as much of my body under as possible. The thing I saw made my heart drop, the girl from 2 grab the bow. I shook it off, if I could get my hands on knives I had a chance of winning this thing. The moment I came into contact of land, I ran like I was named for. Lightning, I moved fast and quick, sprinting towards the Cornucopia, watching everything out of the sides of my eyes. I saw people die, and I paid no attention. I couldn't lose my focus now, I had to get out of here. I grabbed a pack of throwing knives and a small pack that look like it contained food and other crucial supplies. I felt the white hot adrenaline rush through my veins as I sprinted faster than I ever have before, and that's saying a lot. I decided to head east, towards the mountains. I would have to find Ezekiel later, right now I had to focus on staying alive. But I knew if he wanted to find me, he would be able to. ~Ͽ*Ͼ~ "Ҭo give anything less than your best is to sacrifice the gift.” Ṧo why are you so eager to betray? Dottie flinched when he was raised into the arena, her heart seeming to try and crawl out of her chest. Was she going to die? Maybe she was. The thought of death continued to echo through her head. She looked at the river and smiled, she knew how to swim quite well sense she was a good runner. She didn't know why she was smiling, wasn't she going to die?
She better than to stretch, it would only make her muscles stiff. She gazed intensely on the water, praying for a good start, her fingers moving with her thoughts. Speed. Fast. Hurry. She repeated in her head, licking her chapped lips. She forgot why she wanted to die, but then realized that she had never wanted to die, she'd simply given up. Well maybe trying a little bit wouldn't hurt.
The moment she heard zero, she practically fell into the water, taking a moment to gather herself but already swimming intently, trying to reach the cornucopia, which surely held the hope Dottie needed. She swam pretty fast, easily going past several of the contestants. She grabbed a few pack, turning to see a girl try to rip them from her hands. Dottie held on to them, yanking back. Suddenly the girl stopped and reached for an axe, taking a swing at Dottie, who stumbled backwards into the water, still hanging on to her packs for dear life.
Dottie began to swim away, but the girl caught her by the leg and yanked her back, Dottie giving a small squeal, jerking away from the girl harshly. The girl, who Dottie now remembered as Hailey, fell, her head smashing open on a rock. Dottie tried not to look at the girl's head as she grabbed the girl's supplies and made a run for it, heading to the mountains at her runners' speed. Dying of frustration. No one was up for a fight, and Khal was dead. She saw him in the sky that night, saw for her own eyes as the puny D12 girl stabbed him as he died. And all of this, Arden was hiding behind that Cornucopia. Had it be any different, had the girl not left Arden in shock as Khal fell to the ground, then Arden could've killed the girl. Had it be any different. But no, Khal had to have died, leaving Arden in shock. If only the victim had been someone else, anyone, then Arden could've swooped in a killed the girl.
Arden was all but banging her head in frustration. Only she didn't because that would make noise and maybe even give her a concussion. Instead, she grabbed her bow and headed off north, to the water fall. She'd come back for the remainder of the bloodbath once she had gotten food.

She, however, kept her hands to her sides, fighting back the urge to put her hands to the glass. She was scared. Her body shaking as she saw the light above her. Silent, scared and alone, she listened to the countdown. Her mouth slowly dropped, her hands clenched into fist. Then, it was over. The sound of the horn blew and Avril was off. She jumped into the water and swam to the cornucopia grabbing a large bag and a chained mace, then she was off. Her boots carried her far off. Away from the cornucopia. Yes, this wasn't very smart, but she could forge later. Now it was life or death. Avril's small legs carried her into the woods as she ran. Her breathing soft, her feet light, her her hair flowing behind her in the high, two braided ponytail. The warm wet suit she wore hugged the newly defined curves she began to generate while she was away. This was the games. This is what she trained for. She thought of all the things she was told. One being, find an ally. She could do that.

GINGER ICECRYSTAL DISTRICT 12 TRIBUTEHealth::100/100 Thirst::95/100 Hunger::100/100 When I got to the cornucorpia I started to feel powerful after running all the way here running was my natural habitat even though it technically speaking is not a habitat it felt like it to me.Feeling so hyped up I was ready to face anything especially if it ment a greater chance of arvil and her getting out of here alive. Smiling I saw Brion wool guarding the cornucorpia along with emily coins whos back was faceing brion and who now started to walk off towards the forest.When I saw my chance I took it.Taking my throwing knives I threw each of them fastly and repeadetly killing brion befor he had the chance to find me in the bush and aim.
Running towards the tribute after he died I grabbed his stuff that he had in hand and only that stuff seeing emily coins will be back soon.Grabbing my throwing knives and my hunting knives I ran off.Stopping to watch as the Gamemakers hovercraft came and took him off.Hearing a cannon I ran befor Emily coins came back I was off back to the waterfalls. When I got back I sat down and it hit me I visciously just killed someone I thought to myself oh no once you start even if its a accident Its like a bad habbit.Then I whipered."Theese games turn you into animals."Facing the cold hard truth that even if she some how meraculasly survived these games changed her life to the exstent were it cant be reversed.I decided to wake arvil so we can go back to the cornucorpia and perhaps get more supplies.Grabbing my stuff back of course from her I tapped her back. ---exit to waterfalls-----

How nice. Arden needed a kill, and water. She drew her weapons, bow in her left hand, arrow in her right. Running to the Cornucopia and hiding behind it like she had two nights before, Arden patiently waited for a tribute to step into her line of view.
It had been a while of waiting, but soon one boy staggered into view. He looked young, couldn't have been more than 15. Arden eyed the scythe in his hand and water bottles slung on his shoulder. Too bad she had to kill him. Oh well. Arden notched her arrow, then stepped out into his view. She plastered on the biggest smile, then called out: "District 9! Come here, I have something to ask you!" She grinned, like she was going to ask him about being his ally. Her bow and arrow was still at her hands, ready to get whipped through the air in milliseconds. Speed was part of her training, and she was trained to notch an arrow, aim and pull the string in a matter of seconds. D9's hand twitched, the one with the scythe. But he must be desperate, since he too a step closer. Then closer, until he was less than a dozen feet away. Bad move. Never advance at a Career. But then again, he had the scythe, so props for that. And then with a quick lift of her hand and less than a second to aim, Arden had her arrow planted in his throat. Blood sputtered out of his mouth, and then he was dead.
Arden ran towards him, taking all his stuff in a flash. His arm was raised, as if figuring he needed a swipe of the scythe to keep him safe. Good try, but faster next time. Arden also clawed into his throat and pulled out the arrow, making more blood flow out. With both her and his supplies-- actually, only hers now, he was dead, and the cannon said so-- she ran away, to the base of the river.
Arden now organized the supplies. The sycthe goes in the quiver, just fitting. She placed all things edible in the sack of water. Then she took a bottle out and drained it in seconds. She was really thirsty! She took another one out, and drank about two thirds of it. Really thirsty. Now replenished, Arden placed the bottles back in, the empty one at the bottom and the half-empty one at the top. Bittermelon also was in there, so was the last worm bait. She was definitely fishing with that soon, before it rots on her.
Then, she stood by the river and washed the arrow tip. Now clean and shiny, she washed all the blood off her own body. If she wanted to pull of the ally trick again, she couldn't look like she had stomped on tributes prior! She had blood all over her hands and coated in her fingernails from when she was digging the arrow out of D9's throat, and more all over her body while getting the supplies. She even managed to get blood on her face! Arden washed it all off, but she was careful not to drink any of the river water. Who knows, it cold be poisoned! And with that, Arden headed back to the Cornucopia. D9 was gone, probably picked up already, but the stain the in grass that was fading by the second was still there. She once again hid behind the Cornucopia, pleased.
