STUDENTS

Each student below is in this classroom and has at least one instrument that they can play at a fairly advanced level. If you play more than a couple intruments, but have any speciality in music, you have to state why that is so on your profile.

Ex: Lucas can play so many instruments because after his bite, he was trapped in his room constantly and learned them, in substitution for his parents hearing his voice. It fits in with the story line of his specific character.

Al (alalal984)
Voice- Soprano, knows a bit of piano, Clarinet, and wants to learn guitar and ukulele. ((This is what I know in real life, best at singing))

Lucas (WerewolfLucas)
Voice- Tenor, harp, guitar, piano, violin, cello, clarinet, trumpet, drums, saxophone, french horn, xylophone, trombone, voice, ukelele, drums, harmonica, ocarina, fiddle, flute, cymbals, pan flute, bagpipes...anything, really. (He is extremely skilled and at an advanced level at all of these, so it's quality and quantity.)

**NOTE:
So no one God-mods that they just walk in here, playing the instruments after dark and waking up half the castle, you need a pass from me to play them. The pass will be like a guitar pick, but with a small picture on it that indicates whatever instrument you want to play. Otherwise, they just burn white hot unless you have this 'pass' on your person as you play it.


((Set-up of room is in post below, 5 upright pianos lining a wall, hundreds of instruments in a closet that had charms extending it, a corner with a dozen guitars, in the center of the room is a baby-grand, which is mine to play to accompany the singers.))

Fionna had gotta a note probably along with the other members of the class that music class was starting today. Her hands had been fidgety all day in anticipation of perhaps playing a piano again. She missed the feel of the keys on her hands, and even though Lucas was teaching her guitar it wasn't the same as the piano. It was one of her passions and talents that she missed while at Hogwarts and was so happy that there was no longer a need to miss it.

Fionna neared the classroom with tingling hands and when she entered the door, the first thing that caught her eye was the baby grand piano in the middle of the room. Her eyes twinkled at the sight of it and her necklace turned to amber in sync with her overjoyed attitude.

Fionna tore her eyes away from the piano to survey the rest of the room where she found many other uprights and many other instruments. She also found that she was not the first here for Al and the Headmistress were over by some guitars talking and Al looking intrigued by the instruments. Of course Al had been the first one here. She was so enthusiastic and passionate about music. Fionna smiled glad to be here. Her eyes kept darting back to the piano wanting to run her fingers over the keys, but she resisted and slowly strode into the room and said, "Well I must admit. This is brilliant." A grin was on her face and she couldn't wait to see who else had joined the class. She knew a few who probably had. Lucas, Al, and Caiden, but she honestly couldn't think of anybody else.

Fionna was a bit confused at the guitar pick and she turned it over in her hand. It had a picture of a piano on it and Fionna figured it was some sort of pass to play the instrument. She smiled at the Headmistress. "Thank you." She said and was glad to hear that she might be allowed to play the baby grand, but she was just happy to be playing piano at all.

Fionna then grinned at the headmistress' question. She also chuckled a bit before saying, "Oh its true. I bet he can even play kazoo!" Fionna made her way over to one of the upright pianos. "He's even teaching me guitar." She added as a random thought.

Fionna sat down at the piano trying to decide what to do. She hadn't played in a few months, so she figured she better warm up first. Fionna started with a few scales and octave exercises. There was a smile on her face and she put her hands in her lap thinking of a song she thought she may still be able to play from memory. The smile faded into an expression she always took while playing and her necklace immediately changed to a pearl as she started to play Beethoven's Moonlight Sonata.

Fionna was immersed in the music. She made a few mistakes here and there but it was expected since she had not played in a while. She was startled when a violin joined her and she got a bit off for a moment, but with the violin playing with her she was easily able to pick it back up. She did not know who had joined her but she had a suspicion on who it was.

The violin sounded wonderful and as the piece came to an end Fionna looked behind her with a wide grin. It was Lucas who she had suspected. Fionna of course had always believed that Lucas could play any instrument handed to him and was not surprised at his melodic playing on the violin. "That was nice." She said with a light grin on her face and a twinkle in her eye.

Fionna blushed at Lucas' compliment. She really wasn't use to playing for people. Sure, she played for her family all the time and had occasionally played for Caiden but that was it really. She kept her talents to herself most of the time and she guessed that seemed to be changing a bit. She needed to remember to get back to sketching a bit. So many things to do. "Thanks. I'm a bit out of practice." She said honestly.

Fionna watched Lucas play and she was truly amazed. The song was amazing and she couldn't remember hearing it really, but she loved it and all the flutters, trills, and glissandos were awesome. "That was amazing Lucas." She said and gave him a peck on the cheek. He seemed to be a bit rusty as well so at least it was not only her. Fionna was debating something now.

Fionna had received notebook number four from Riley yesterday. She had spent some time away from Lucas reading it and when she heard music class was starting had been debating this the entire day. She tapped the bench for a moment before reaching into her bag and pulling out the notebook. She noticed Lucas' confusion, but ignored it for the moment. She put her notebook on the stand and began playing. Notebook Number Four was Fionna's composition book where she wrote her songs. They were few and numbered, but she opened it to a certain page containing the song Pretend dedicated to her father. She also sang quietly with it not really comfortable with singing loud yet.

Fionna blushed again when Lucas complimented her. She seemed to always blush at compliments no matter what. "Thanks." She said not sure what now. "This is what i was writing about in that letter I sent Riley by the way." She told Lucas thinking he probably remembered that. Though the reason for wanting it was only partially to play some of her old songs. Fionna figured she might also be able to convert some of the songs to guitar and play them on that.

Fionna wasn't sure what to do now. She took her notebook and stuck it back into her bag. She then proceeded to play Lost by Coldplay which Lucas had played on the guitar the other day she smiled as she did so thinking about that night.
