Alright, since this takes the place of Crystal Tokyo and all that jazz.
It's been known that because of the power of the Silver Crystal most if not all inhabitants have their lifespans increase because of it's power and so on.
So lets say that bit has left unchanged.
Now we get to the heart of things- Aging.
Option 1: Most will continue to age normally up until they reach their Majority (Generally 18-20 years of age). From there they will age very slowly like once every 100 years.
Option 2: Instead of aging normally, most will age every 60 years, give or take a year here. By the time most reach 16- they would've lived for at least 1200 years by that point. Generally everyone stops aging upon their majority.
Option 3 : Everybody ages normally. There is no longevity. Things remain the same.
Option 4: People with Magical energies are the ones with long lifespans that will stop aging at their majority and normal people have normal life spans. (that means if You are Magic and your parents/sibling are not, you will out live them and possibly whatever children your sibling has.)
Option 5: In this, the long lifespan thing is random. Even the Senshi might have this peppered in their ranks. (ex: This is the third Sailor Citrine they've had. The last one died a week ago.) or something like that. It also means at random even normal people could have long lifespans. (Say Mom has it but it wasn't passed on to her children or grandchildren.)
I leave it up to you guys. xD;

I mainly like options 2 and 3. I would just mainly want everyone to age the same.

I am going to have to vote for #1.
#2 just seems kind of... weird. I mean, who would want to stay as a child for 60+ years?
The others do sound workable though, depending on how things play out.

Not really. That was based of an idea really of how Chibiusa could be 900 and still have a longer reign then her mother or grandmother considering that Endymion told everyone that the average lifespan of those from the Silver Millennium was about 1000 years.
(that and because since Hotaru was still alive that there was no 'natural' deaths until after she died. Then people started dying left and right. Going on the premise that the Silver Crystal tampers with the natural order of things.)
xD; but really, it could also be used for other things. Just thought I toss the option in.

I tend to lean more toward number 4. Mostly for... well, my own reasons lol

Hmm... these are some pretty interesting ideas. I think that pretty much all of these options are workable, though I have to say I could live without Option 2 (no pun intended hurhurhur). Forgive me if I'm mistaken, but I could've sworn someone had a character here based on immortality or something. Whoever that character is should definitely get their butt into this thread. ;D lol
I have to say, my favorite options are probably options 4 and 5... primarily 5. The reason being that I think it would give people much more freedom and diversity with their characters, as well as establish some sort of complexity into relationships that involve child bearing and whatnot. What I mean by this is, rather than just having two characters get together and have 343224 babies for the hell of it, the factor in regards to life span could play a huge role in "mate selection" and add a tiny mini-drama in and of itself.
That, or people would just do whatever the hell they could to get the immortality/life span issue set to how they want it. xd
Another option I've got my eye on is Option 1. Maybe we could expand the age limit a little bit though, because I know that we have multiple characters who are actually in their mid- to late twenties and the age has been significant enough to influence how they've arranged their character profiles. Personally, I would more than likely be a fan of Option 3, just because I'm much more of a "realistic" roleplayer than I am a fantasy one, but since this proposal applies to everybody... yeah, I think that right now I definitely like the idea of options 4 and 5; I haven't quite reached a verdict yet though. ;3

Personally, I like Four and Five simply for the virtue of screwing with emotions.
*The entire reason why I put it there too.*

*should've added - the longer you live the harder it is to breed.* Or rather, people who live longer usually don't bother with children until much later in their lives. *Tis theory and proven in RL.*

I'd prefer a mix of 4 and 1. Anyone with magical energies, or who lives near the silver crystal would age slowly.

Yeah the one four mix sounds the best to me too. The senshi and thier knights age a little more noticably slower than those in the siver city and much slover than those outside of it.

Mm-hmm... looking back over this now, I can see that the one four mix definitely is defined enough for us to have a "stable" world without being too restrictive to different magical races in the roleplay. So, is everyone cool with that being implemented then, or do they want to make an objection?
