Tilly stared straight at the flower in front of her. She grunted and analyzed the lush and waxy petals. It was a pink flower. She had no clue what it was good for... or even what she could pretend to make it do... Everything has magical qualities if one would look hard enough.
With a snort at the flower she turned to head back toward the creek. It had been months since she had thought to leave. And here she was on a day's outing away from the only home she knew.
With another snort she turned around and bit the head right off that flower. chewing she found herself thinking of the horse she was living with. He was strong and could protect her... but... no one had come after her... so she was now.... what... free?
She had never been free. What would be her life... Wandering around.. never again having a home to call her own? She huffed. Well... That must be the life of a horse in the wild. Swallowing she decided. Today... She had to tell him today... She had to leave.... She had to learn to care for herself.... and with that she once more headed back to the clearing she called home.

Carnivore was sulking. He wasn't sure why. Training had gone well, his life was pretty damn good, but he was sulking nonetheless. It probably had something to do with the fact that Tilly wasn't here to greet him when he got home. Perhaps she had went to gather more herbs for her voodoo stuff. Well if that was the case she would likely need help. She so often needed strange objects that were either large or awkward to carry so he usually had to help.
Turning away from the grove they called home Carnivore set off to find his mare and see what he could do for her today. Maybe she could perform a spell that would make Love disappear, then they would finally be alone at last.

Tilly nearly smacked directly into the large black horse leaving the grove as she was entering in. She came to an abrupt halt and blinked. "Carni" She glanced to his face and then to her feet. She twitched her tail. "I think..."
How was she to tell him that she wished to leave...how would she get him to understand. No... she would just have to put her foot down... He would be ok. She frowned. But would she be ok?
She had a bad feeling that she had completely given her heart away. She shivered. That thought terrified her.
"We need to talk."

Having no knowledge of the meaning or significance of those words, especially when coming from a mare Carnivore nodded. If she wanted to talk then he would let her, and he would talk as well. What they were gonna talk he hadn't a clue, but as far as he knew it would be nothing bad. "Carnivore talk with Tilly." He glanced around to make sure Love wasn't lurking in the shadows. "Talk here?" He finally asked swiveling his head around to look towards his mare once more.

Tilly frowned. She looked around as well. "Very Well... " She shifted slightly. Her heart flipped. Taking a large breath she spoke carefully. "Carnivore,"She paused and then pushed on. "Im leaving... I need to...I need to..." She frowned. "I need to find my own path now. "
She frowned and realized she had said all this to her hooves. Glancing up at him she looked away "I am sorry..."
