The crowd is cheering and chanting loudly as EEW has began with a bang. They are waiting impatiently for the next match in excitement when the titantron suddenly comes to life. It shows the face of 'The Talented One' and former EEW Owner Cartwright.

The fans cheer loudly as this is the first time he has been seen in EEW for months. Cartwright however is not in a smiling mood and doesn't even acknowledge the fans. He looks sad, maybe even a little angry.

Cartwright="It's tough. It's so very tough. To see the promotion I helped to build, the promotion that I owned, the promotion that I poured my heart and soul into.......turn into what I see it as currently."

Cartwright sighs heavily as the fans are unsure how to respond.

Cartwright="The World and XtremeTV Champions were deemed so worthless and useless by Glacier felt the need to hospitalise them with a sledgehammer and take the titles off them himself. Something is wrong when as the boss you have to do that to your own contracted workers."

Cartwright rolls his eyes at the very idea of it.

Cartwright="Kelly King 2.0 went on and on about how long he waited to become EEW World Champion, about how much he deserved it, but what does he do when he gets what he claims he deserves? He buggers off. Some Champion. He proved that he was the liability that everyone said he was. Now I know many who were big fans of 2.0, but his actions were to say the least disappointing to them and the rest of the wrestlers backstage. The men and women he represented by being their Champion."

The crowd boos the mention of 2.0, who had previously bashed the fans after winning the EEW World Championship.

Cartwright="Now Draze on the other hand defended his XtremeTV Championship in some gruelling matches before he felt the need to disappear. He wasn't all talk and no action. Two Ambulance matches and a Last Man Standing match were the type of matches Draze went through and defended his title to prove he deserved it. That he deserved to hold the EEW XtremeTV Championship. 2.0 did nothing."

The crowd claps in agreement and cheers.

Cartwright="And then Glacier himself decides to go another step too far. Instead of dealing with the questions the roster had a right to ask him about the state of EEW, he decides to try and lock them in a cage! Glowing ring ropes and ice was never EEWs style. EEW was about old-school hardcore matches and amazing, realistic feuds, not magic and cartoon-ish capers like cages appearing from the sky suddenly. I personally think the roster was right to no-sell that little bit of silliness."

The crowd claps again and cheers.

Cartwright="As I said at the start, this has all been tough to watch as I watched from my hospital bed. I remember how it was and I see how it is......it hurts me. EEW was the number one promotion for so long. Nobody can argue with that, it is fact."

Cartwright shakes his head thinking about it.

Cartwright="Maybe Lauri can turn my baby around. The Birthday Show could and should be the grand revival that everyone wants to see. One thing for sure is, I will be watching."

The titantron switches off and the crowd claps. It looks like Cartwright has given Lauri the seal of approval.
