The guild account is full of gold, and I'd like to use some of it to expand the guild and cater to more specific interests.

Please cast your vote and explain your choice so we can help this guild become even more of what its users want. 3nodding

The Original Thread
Don't you? Not that we have any gold in the guild account, but I'll get it soon. I was just possessed by the desire to have a poetry sub-forum. Anyone else? Or do you have other ideas for a new forum? Let me know!

(If we split the Author/Titles/Series forum, it would be an Author's forum and a Fiction forum. Unless anyone has a better idea.)

Edit 2/27/06
Poetry is the winner. I'm now looking for a few donations (size doesn't matter wink ) to help us reach the needed 2,500g. We currently have 2,056g.

Thank you, TeamSeaSlug, for your donation. heart

Normally I dont read much poetry, but right now I am in the mood for some good poetry...along with a hot cup of coffee.

I vote Poetry

Mystery and suspense could really be a combined forum, even perhaps tack horror with that grouping.

Science Fiction or Romance is my vote.

I vote for Poetry, as a distinct literary form rather than another genre.

(Disregard my awful grammar, plzkthnx~ lol I claim non-nativeness as my excuse, or something.)

That's a good idea. I'd also think about combining Science Fiction and Fantasy, as the lines between the two blur in some books. (Not that they're interchangeable, or anything wink ).

It looks like poetry's still in the lead, though. I'm glad to have gotten so many responses. heart

Poetry sounds good. Or horror.

I'd personaly like to see a fanfiction sub-forum, but its not my place to request anything sweatdrop

But it is your place to request things, and I thank you for the suggestion. 3nodding

*nods* The only thing keeping me reading the Acorna books was the fantasy aspect. I don't like the author's writing style in the slightest.

Sorry, I don't know much about running a guild; how much gold do you need for a subforum?

2,500g. I'll be getting 4k within a few days from a pending trade, and then I'll buy a new sub-forum. smile

Oh, because I have 800g that I can spare, so if that trade, for some reason, doesn't go through, you can have it.

The wanted sub-forums should be financed by more members than just the guild captain. This means there would be willingness to actually use it.
