Fang'dari had the distinct impression he was being followed, the hairs on the back of his neck standing on edge in warning. For the most part Fang always followed his instincts, they had kept him alive this long and he was sure they would continue to do so. Even so, he did not make this knowlegde known, it was far better to lure your opponant into a false sence of security than give away your only ace in the hole.
He caught a scent before he heard anything, it was a delicate almost flowery scent that just seemed to scream 'Female' to him. He grunted, a little frustrated that he was being interupted. Fang was often on his own, more so than he was ever in the company of others, he supposed it was because he had a tendancy to snap at those who tried to come close to him.
Lazily he flicked his tail and turned his head as a voice accompanied the scent, it wasn't an unpleasant voice, the tones full of life and melody that was almost pleasing to the ear. They flicked, half awaiting more of the delightful sound. Of course, Fangs face betrayed none of that. He had trained himself to have a stoic exterior, it made him unpredicatable and that often gave him the upper hand in a fight. His eyes flicked over the females form, noting that she didn't seem to be in an attack posture. Although he didn't lower his guard it did mean he wouldn't attack.... not yet at least.
He shrugged his shoulders,
"I enjoy being alone." A half truth. Raising an eyebrow he wondered if there was more to this encounter than simply enquiring if he was lonely, and although Fang was cold at times part of him couldn't allow someone to hurt when he could do something about it. That was why he found himself saying,
"You?" The word was clipped and short despite the fact that Fang actually cared about the answer.
