updates
ooc:
4.11.2011 archer rebooted to coincide with shop reboot.
ic:
19.4.1938 time breaks for archer, he is sent back to victorian england.
archer spends three months finding his bearings.
attempts to enter government without money or influence prove futile, and with a general election approaching, archer attempts to found a political party made up of those displaced in time like he is.
with support of the minority displacement community, archer's party is returned for a few small irish boroughs, capitalizing on the confusion currently in ireland to manipulate its still-legitimate electoral seats in the house of commons.
archer spends time in the house of commons but is unable to rally much support for social reforms to help the displaced, partially because of language and cultural barriers radically different time periods have thrown up, and partially because of global matters the disraeli ministry considers to be more pressing.
frustrated, archer is given an opportunity to join lotus when it requests an english representative. he resigns from the ministry and his second in command takes over the displacement party.
archer joins lotus and, noticing the number of agents who do not speak english, begins to teach the language, as well as attempt to learn more languages and polish those he already knows. he begins to plan to become a recruiter, so that he can go on field missions and find more displaced people to assist and recruit.
archer levels up after a diplomacy test with wraith, as a level one he begins to angle for a recruiter position.

reason for lotus: Archer seeks a solution for those displaced in time as he was when he was shifted suddenly from 1930s England to 1870s England with nothing but the clothes on his back. While he also seeks short term solutions and legal reforms to help these people, solving the problem altogether as he believes LOTUS aims to do is the best long term solution he can see, and conveniently gives him resources to help him seek short term solutions at the same time that Parliament cannot.
current job: Language teacher. Since the primary language in LOTUS headquarters is English, Archer helps teach it and also attempts to learn other languages in the process. He currently speaks French, Latin, Welsh, English, and a few halting words of Gaelic.
strengths: Languages, political aptitude, finding solutions within the law, organizing and public speaking, can also shoot a gun and is capable of (somewhat poor) archery.
weaknesses: Not very good at fighting, incredibly hesitant to resort to violence or paramilitary action, somewhat biased towards the UK, specifically England, slow to act when he disagrees with the course of action, has difficulty adjusting to vastly different cultures from his own.
