Welcome to the third RP of the Kizingo'Zaa metaplot event!Start: November 4th, 10:00am EST. End: November 14th, 11:59pm EST. This event is the third of several parts, and is both an RP and a contest! This RP is open to EVERYONE. That means that if you have a lion who is joining the pride, they are welcome to come in! This WILL count as a massive JRP for all the new folks! After much relearning, the pride has started to settle into their new ways. To celebrate the return of some sense of security, they are throwing a wild party! The party starts at sundown, and will feature dancing, singing, paw-readings, star-readings, and general carnival-like fun! Joining rogues may hear the noise and come to check it out, or see people dancing up the beach and come to join! This RP is mainly for fun, and to get joining rogues in! This is not a particularly plot-important RP! This RP's cub is available ONLY to people who do NOT have a SoA on the pridal lines! It will be awarded to our favorite post of the RP. For the record that means the best-written post that is also the funniest/funnest/most interesting. Just do your best, and have fun! Rules1. Please follow all Gaia and SoA rules! 2. Be friendly to your fellow RPers--if you don't win the prize, don't whine! Just try again next time! 3. If you win the prize they MUST stay in the pride. Forever. Period. 4. Those who do not own a pridal member OR joining rogue may RP a 'critter' such as a turtle, monkey, etc.; this critter must have previously been a muse to some lion (even if that lion doesn't exist!) 5. The winner of the prize MUST PM ShinosBee their prize's name, and potential gypsy name! So what's the prize?Well it's a sibling of the cubs from last time, so yet another little royal bundle! He's a sexy little guy, isn't he? He is the SECOND child of a fling between the Song Keeper (AKA Gypsy Queen) Amefungwa and a passing rogue, Pahale. The cubs were all born in secret mere days before the disappearance of Insanity and Li's arrival, almost exactly two weeks before the first RP (and about SIX weeks from this current RP!) Therefore you CAN decide to have your cub be crazy! If you decide this, please tell ShinosBee in the PM you send with the cub's name! Thank you!

Amefungwa slid out of her den, shifting her new veil over her muzzle, and then stopped, feeling something pawing at her hind leg. "Now now little ones...you should be long ago asleep!" She shushed her cubs, who were starting to realize there was life outside the den. They wanted to come with her to the festival, but it would be dark. They could get lost, or fall asleep somewhere not safe. It was funny to her to think that some time ago no one in the pride would have worried about things like that...but now she was not the same, and now she did worry.
"Aww mooom!" Came little protests, but she insisted, and then headed down the cliffside to join the rest of the pride. The party, it seemed, was already well underway. She smiled to the people she came across and then threw herself into the dance, kicking up sand and twirling in circles.

It seemed like years had passed since their old life - where everything was fine, everyone minded themselves, and there was no organization. Certainly there would have been no organization for the party they had set up for this hour. However, since the day of chaos, there had been much rebuilding, relearning, and fun throughout the process. At least, it was fun for the pink giant, who simply was satisfied when everyone was happy.
The new ways were strange to him, no doubt, and a definite change from his old role to simply watch. He had been such a presence throughout the Kizingo'zaa's transition that they let him keep that role, as he was good at it. He was now called a Voivode, and perhaps he now had an even greater incentive and purpose to watch all that went on in the pride.
The air and scenery was beautiful - everyone had lined up in the center of the pride when the sun came down, which provided a warm glow to the sky. Some of the ladies started dancing, much to his pleasure, and that was the area he also found himself sitting to watch more of, coincidentally. It also just so happened that the dancing ladies were also quite easy on the eyes. Ah, this would be a good day. Even if this type of structured celebration would be unheard of back in the day, this great start showed signs of a definite keeper.
In midst of all the dance-watching, he saw a flash of red and yellow, and laughed a great, hearty laugh when he saw her join in spontaneously.
"Ah, our Amefungwa is a little late to the party!" he announced, clapping his paws together, "See what you have done? We are having fun!"

He, too, felt he was a little late to the party, having only been woken up by the droning of chimes in his head to alarm him of the upcoming day. Flashing his tail left and right, he slowed down as he came to the procession, and found himself next to the older pink brute, his eyes looking up to him as he took a seat.
"I'm sorry I'm late, the music kept me busy and before I realized it, it was past the moment we were going to gather." He stated, slightly exasperated as he sat down. He felt the most comfortable near Memeth - the lion giving off a feeling of father-figure from him, and he always trusted what the elder lion said. Sometihng about being around since before his time made him .. okay.
Turning to the Queen, he smiled to her also, but in his meek, soft-spoken, eyes to the ground way, still feeling a little shyed away from everyone. He couldn't shake the feeling of still being . . . different, having never lost his muses - for better or for worse. "I'm glad I'm not the only one," He murmured a little playfully.

"Of course you're not the only one!" blurted out Memeth, blue eyes widening in both shock and amusement at the younger and more familiar young adult.
He observed the more hesitant behavior - the soft voice, the lowered eye levels... He knew the orange-haired lad had felt, just like him, a little overwhelmed by all these changes and the fact that most everyone else had lost their muses. Oh no, that was not the case for these two. But whereas this young fellow was a little ashamed of it now, Memeth was all too much of the same self he always was, and still was proud of the fact that he talked to his moon. It did help that his muse only came up when the whole pride went to sleep, though.
Perhaps that outburst came out in more than one meaning.
"Keme - I mean... Seven Songs - Ah, I am not used to this yet, of course..." he admitted, shaking his head to get rid of his confusion, "Don't be silly about being late and whatever else it is you are worried about! I've been taking your share of these sights while you were away. And there's more than enough of me to handle all the beauties dancing tonight! Waha!"
