Ally stood outside the door glancing up at it, "Well, this is it.."She turned the handle pushing the door open and stood in the doorway gazing in. "..Not bad," she smiled and turned toward Layla. "Guess we should go pick our rooms."

iiwhisper Ally stood outside the door glancing up at it, "Well, this is it.."She turned the handle pushing the door open and stood in the doorway. "Not bad," she smiled and turned toward Layla. "Guess we should go pick our rooms."Layla smiled at her, "Alright.." She walked in and picked one with a nice view and a walk-in closet. She smiled and closed the door as she started decorating the room and re-painting it...

Ally laughed a little finally seeing Layla happy. She patted around the dorm before finally choosing a room with a bookshelf and an old style window. She lay her violin case against the bed and gazed around the room, she decided to slightly adjust it to her tastes. She spotted a few tins of paint by the door and smiled as she walked towards them.

Layla, who had been peacefully working on her room for a couple hours finished up and sighed happily looking at her beautiful artwork that made the room look a little bigger. She smiled looking around her new room, "The finest work I've done yet..." Layla sighed, feeling proud of herself. She walked out of her new room and walked into the kitchen and started cooking.

iiwhisper Ally laughed a little finally seeing Layla happy. She patted around the dorm before finally choosing a room with a bookshelf and an old style window. She lay her violin case against the bed and gazed around the room, she decided to slightly adjust it to her tastes. She spotted a few tins of paint by the door and smiled as she walked towards them. Layla was cooking some food for the both of them called to Ally, "How does some food sound to you, Ally???" She soon grabbed some fruit and vegetables from the refrigerator and started to cut them and then cook them in the soup she was making that her mother taught her how to make when she was younger.

Ally poked her head out of her door, she had paint on her cheeks and some ribbon stuck to her dress. "Mm.. well I don't eat very much, though maybe I'll have a little," she finally caught sight of the ribbon and pulled it off. "Need any help?" She called out.

iiwhisper Ally poked her head out of her door, she had paint on her cheeks and some ribbon stuck to her dress. "Mm.. well I don't eat very much, though maybe I'll have a little," she finally caught sight of the ribbon and pulled it off. "Need any help?" She called out. "Well since I made we're going to have to eat it all so it doesn't go bad.... Plus it would be such a waste to not eat it all..." Layla said to her putting the sliced fruit in the soup along with some of the vegetables. "No....it's almost finished " She added putting the soup in two bowls serving it on the table. "Alright.... The soup's ready..." Layla said sitting down to eat but she prayed to her family before she ate. After she prayed she bowed her haed a little to show respect and then she started eating.

Ally sat down on front of her and lifted the spoon. She began eating so as not to offend Layla. "Where did you learn to cook like this?" She asked raising her head, it was actually quite good.

iiwhisper Ally sat down on front of her and lifted the spoon. She began eating so as not to offend Layla. "Where did you learn to cook like this?" She asked raising her head, it was actually quite good. "My mother taught me when I was younger to cook and this was one of my favorite dishes to cook with her because the whole family would gather around just to see her cook. Her cooking was like an angel's kiss.... Every time we would cook together it brought the whole family together and we would have a great time no matter what day it was and no matter what happened to us we would always look forward to the smile on my mother's face including her cooking... But then it all vanished........" Layla explained her story at the beginning her eyes lit up with happiness until it got to the end her eyes showed sadness and she continued to eat. "My mother cooked this better than me but this is at least 1/2 of her cooking..." She said softly.

Ally smiled softly, thinking of a family all enjoying a meal together. "I'm sure you miss them," she said softly glimpsing the look in her eyes. She took another spoonful, "Though if this is only half as good, then I'm speechless."

She took another spoonful, "Though if this is only half as good, then I'm speechless.""There's not a day that goes by and I wonder what I would've done just to keep my inner self at bay for a little longer so they wouldn't suffer what she did to make me that way....." Layla said looking down balling her fists growling. But then she took a long sigh and calmed down and looked at Ally smiling, "That's what everyone says when I tell them
that...."

Layla smiled as she refilled both of their bowls up, "Well it looks like we'll have the last of the soup right now until I can make it again..." She said to Ally as she walked back to the table eating it.
