 Hope 5 years female Kitsune She was abandoned and found by a man who wants to help her. But she is shy and doesn't know why anyone would want her. Her real parent's were mean to her and called her a freak and drugged her enough to get her to get in the car and fall asleep. They then dropped her off in an alley. She has been alone for a few days now and hates loud noises and is very scared.

 Cody Mikao 20 years Male Human Cody lives in an apartment on his own in the city, he lives alone but thats because he lost his family in a fire when he was 15. He had to grow up on his own but he has felt a bit lonely also because one of his co-workers had a baby and he thought about how he never thought about family since having lost his family... until he found Hope. (Literally >w<)

Hope was in an alley way looking for something to eat. She was holding a stuffed Fox that she'd had since she was born. Her and tail were hidden. She only used her tails when bed time came around. She then gets caught by the shop owner and runs for it with the fox in her arms. She was runing as fast as she could until the shop owner was far behind her. She stops at the park and hides in her usual spot. She cries and her tummy growls. "I know tummy." She said and hugged the fox. She missed her family but they didn't want her and it was clear to her no one else did either.

Cody walked out of the cafe with a bag of food that he was going to take home for a little snack. He saw that it was going to ran soon but to get home a bit faster, he decided to cut through the park. He began to walk to the park holding the bag but then as he started to walk through the park, he noticed a little girl. He noticed that she was alone and seemed really sad. He walked over to her and gently knelled by her but not close enough to scare her, "Hey there... what are you doing alone... where is your parents little girl?" He asked in a soft and kind tone, wondering why she was alone.

Hope then looks at him scared and said in a soft, shy voice "They got rid me. They hate me." She then brings her knees to her chest as she was sitting and started to cry. It had only been a few days but she's had it rough since they left her in the alley. She then hugs her fox and didn't look up at Cody at all.

Cody saw that she was scared but then he shook his head, "Thats horrible..." He said thinking about it but then he noticed that she looked hungry, but he thought about it, he opened his bag and pulled a good sized fresh cinnamon roll out of the bag, placing it on a napkin but then put it in front of her but backed up a bit to show that he wasn't going to hurt her but that he was giving her something to eat.

Hope then smelled the cinamon roll and picks it up saying "Thank you mister." She then takes a bite and once she finished it she goes over to Cody and hugged him. She was shhivering in the cold of the winter holidays. It was almost christmas and her parents abandoned her just weeks before the day all family should be together.

Cody watched her eat the pastry but then when she walked over and hugged him, he gently hugged her back but he thought about it, "Hey... would you like to come home with me... its starting to get colder out... I can offer you some warm shelter and better meals." He offered kindly to her, his mind still on the fact that it just seemed in human to leave a little girl out on her own, kicking her out of her own family, it was sickening to him, he wanted to help her.

"Really? You don't mind having me around?" She said starting to cheer up. Her ears perked up inside her shirt hoodie. Her tail was wagging a bit inside her skirt. It was obvious her parents were trying to hide her appearance. SHe always thought that her ears and tail were a bad thing.

Cody looked at her but when she seemed to cheer up, he saw her hoodie but lifted it up and noticed her ears but thought about it, "You have little fox ears... wow..." He said gently feeling them but found that they were real but he looked at her, "This can't be why your family threw you out is it?" He asked concerned.

Hope nods and said "Yes it is. Plus my tail." Her tail then pokes out of her shirt and she looks up at him and said "I'm a freak." She then started to cry.

Cody heard what she said, he looked at her tail when it came out but he then heard what else she said. He saw her cry but he gently hugged her and picked her up, "Don't say that... your nothing close to being a freak... I believe that you are more cute then any little girl that i have seen in my life." He said kindly, his voice sincere but he picked up the bag and her stuffed fox that she had put down to eat the cinnimon roll. He gently handed her the fox to hold but gently smiled, "Come on... lets go home and get you first a nice warm bath to get you warm and clean and then some better food alright." He said kindly as he gently carried her.

Hope nods and hugs her fox close. Then lays her head on Cody's shoulder. "Thank you for letting m into your home mister. I'm Hope." She said and stays close to him for warmth.

Cody heard what she said but then nodded, "No problem... and its nice to meet you Hope... my name is Cody." He said kindly to her but then he thought about it, while he was walking her home, he walked into a clothing store and picked up some pajamas for her to wear that night but then he took her home. He walked into his apartment but then he gently put Hope down to get his coat off but then he looked at her, "So Hope... when you take your bath, are you going to be able to bath yourself or will you need my help?" He asked wondering if she needed his help because he actually thought about her not getting hurt, he didn't want her to feel any more pain then she already had.

"I can do it myself. But thank you." SHe said then thught about it. "Can Foxy have a bath too?" She asked then held her stuffed fox up and looked up at Cody. SHe had not washed her stuffed fox in a long time not since her mother gave it to her and she got baby food on it. he hated being alone without her fox but knew she could trust Cody with it.
