The following contest is a Round one match in the Crimson Road To Chaos tournament and it is a First Blood Match! In order to win you must make your opponent bleed. Introducing first.....

The lights in the arena went dark until the USMC Eagle, Globe and Anchor emblem appeared on the blackened titantron screen before the background appeared to burn away, leaving a field of scarlet red in its place with the words Major Devastation above and below the ensignia in gold, military-style block lettering while Warrior by Disturbed began blasting over the PA system. Once the scarlet background on the screen was revealed, the arena lighting was replaced by mood lighting in a matching shade of red, alternating with gold to the beat of the music.

The Marine emerged from the tunnel with a US flag propped against his left shoulder and his half of the Open the Twin Gate Championship strapped around his waist as the lyrics to the song began, stopping in the middle of the stage to salute the crowd as fountains of red, white and blue sparks began spraying around him before he started down the ramp, zig-zagging from side to side in order to high-five some of the fans.

I am now an instrument of violence
I am a vessel of invincibility
I cannot leave this undecided
Stepping down to battle another day

This determination is a vital part of me

With the endless masses that I will defeat

"Now making his way to the ring, weighing in at 270 lbs., from San Antonio, Texas...he is one half of the Open the Twin Gate champions, Major Devastation!"

As he reached the side of the ring, Major handed Old Glory to the ringside attendant and performed a standing leap onto the apron before stepping between the top and middle ropes to enter the ring itself, unfastening the belt as he did so. Devastation would then begin climbing the turnbuckles and playing to the crowd, holding the title high above his head in a Rock-like manner, before hopping down, handing the gold to the referee and waiting for the bell to ring.

Once the bell sounded to officially start the match, Major would waste little time in lunging in as he attempted to bring Cyrus down the the mat with a double leg takedown. If it were successful, he would then look to follow up with a barrage of (perfectly legal) closed fist shots to the forehead.

While Cyrus managed to get his hands up, Major knew from experience that that particular defense couldn't stop every punch that rained down from either side of his head. Devastation would look to keep up the barrage for a couple more seconds before getting up and waiting to see if his opponent was going to try to get up.

If Darke tried to get up, the Marine would attempt to blast him squarely in the nose with a knee strike.

Cyrus may have managed to escape the ring, but his respite would be rather short-lived as Major Devastation slid out right behind him. Once he was out, the Marine would quickly try to deliver a stomp to Darke's ribs.

Just after driving the air from his opponent's lungs, Major would try to grab Cyrus' feet while he was still gasping for air down on the floor, and if he was successful, Devastation would attempt to catapult the smaller man toward the ring post.

From his vantage point, Major couldn't see exactly what part of Cyrus impacted with the ring post, so he wasn't sure whether or not to ask the official to check for blood, so he didn't. He would, however, try to drag his opponent up to his feet so that he could attempt to ram his skull into the apron if he was successful.

Devastation's eyes crossed and he dropped to his knees, holding his family jewels, as waves of pain coursed through him as a result of the low blow.

((Auto hit))

Cyrus hit the Bicycle Kick, causing Major to collapse to the canvas. Cyrus would try to roll out of the ring to look for a weapon under the ring.
