((::! OOC: If you want to read the gm'ed storyline, you can find it on pages 6, 12, 15/16, 21, 24, 29&30, 36, 43, & 49 & 56! Ending on page 74!)) The life of a Boogeyman isn't easy. As Halloween's elite, they are expected to be able to take on any challenge in any environment. It was its job and duty to push would-be Boogeymen to their limits, to try them by water and fire, by ice and mirror. There were many elements of the house that were still undiscovered, from puzzles to environments to inhabitants that still lurked within the house's dark walls. It was highly unlikely that a single being could encounter all of a haunted house's features during their entire existence. For now, however, it was possible to mark one more unheard of thing off of the list. Under normal circumstances, this could not be called a room. It was... incomplete. The walls were rough and broken, uneven and barren of any wallpaper or design. What little there was of the ceiling looked as if someone had snapped off half of it long ago, leaving oddly rounded edges. The other side of the room has what looks to be tall columns of various sizes and widths, reaching up to support a ceiling that isn't there. A rough wind blows, bringing with it harsh cool dust. Aside from the rustling wind, you can't hear anything: no cackle of Boos, no creaking wooden floors. The movement of taking a step causes a small echoing crunch and scrape of rock and gravel. This isn't a room. This is a canyon. It looks as if the house decided to create a ledge somewhere towards the top of a canyon, yet not on the exact top. The top is there, high above -- too far and too dangerous to climb in this darkness. The comforting darkness is more of a hindrance than help, as there are several knee-high rocks that are practically begging to be tripped over. If the moon was out it would be easier to see, however it was absent tonight. The ledge that the students are assembled on is wide enough to move around in, yet treacherous. Numerous rocks lay scattered about randomly, some unmovable and part of the landscape. It would be wise to watch one's footing especially when it came to the edge. There was no safety rail, nothing to mark that the edge was there save for a sudden drop into inky darkness. Falling off the edge without the ability or assistance of someone who could fly would surely end poorly. (Entering from Room-type Place)
Lattice stepped through the door and found herself somewhere she didn't quite understand. She felt wind and rough ground underneath her bare feet. She wasn't sure how to feel about this though there was cause for her to want to be careful since nothing about the area felt secure to her but she had managed to survive capture and go through rooms with odd puzzles no doubt she could survive this as well.
She flicked her gaze around behind her mask trying to see if she could see any other familiar shapes around her but for the moment there didn't seem to be any. Lattice paused for the time being waiting for others to appear alongside her because she clearly couldn't be the only one.
...Could she?

(( entering from room 14 ))
The doors of their very pink room opened and West followed his teammates through the one they had all chosen, but when he emerged on the other side, the ghouls were nowhere to be found. Instead he was met by a dark, dusty space, so dark that he couldn't immediately determine who shared it with him, at least not until his eyes adjusted a little. But, really, who had the patience to wait for something like that?
"Who's in 'ere?" he shouted immediately upon entry. He could hear shuffling, but it would probably take him a couple of minutes to figure out where it was coming from on his own.

Mot did not expect a canyon. In his silly little mind, he actually half expected a stage.
The hatted reaper, with new CROWN ACCESSORY OF AMAZING, entered the room, whistling loudly, impressed.
So far, only two people he---wait. Where was his group? Why were Lattice and West here? West he had seen at Prom once. Lattice he at least knew. "Lattice." Mot called out with a smile. "Mind your step." He knew she only saw shapes, so he felt the need to protect her.
His gaze shifted to West, and flashed him a grin and nod.

((Entering from Room 4))
Rain sincerely hoped she made the right decision. Could there even be a wrong answer? If fate was not written by her, wouldn't it mean that fate made her choose this path anyway? All this thinking was making her brain hurt.
She didn't like this place. It wasn't even a room though it might have been at one time. It looked unfinished.. or maybe even partially destroyed. They were on a ledge and it felt like they were really high up but it was hard to tell for sure. At least she wasn't alone. There were a few other students on the ledge with her. She even recognized the demon boil and was glad he made it through the Haunted House too.
If they even made it through.. could this.. be where the losers go? Could this be the end? Had she -- they -- made the wrong choice?
Crouching down, she crawled over to the ledge to get a better look. She usually loved heights. She loved scaling the sides of buildings and jumping from them. This was not the same thing. She could not see the ground. She could not determine just how high they were up.
"I suppose it's too late to change our answer," she half-joked to the other students as she crawled away from the ledge to a safer location.

Nefertari felt the wind brush back her feathers as she entered the strange...room? This didn't seem like a room, it felt like the outdoors. However it was much better than the room she just came from, she could at least stretch her wings here. Her hair fluttered in the wind, the coolness of it not what she prefered. The desert girl liked the heat, not the cold. Her ears swivled about, not hearing anything other than the students who were already here.
The darkness was not a problem, she had explored tombs and pyramids since she was a kitten. She could find her way about, even with the rocks. Her tail acted as an excellent balancing rod as well as a good sweeper for things in her path. She swept it back and forth infront of her to find her way through around the knee hihg rocks. Thats when she heard a few other students moving about, one finally spoke.
"Well I'm here," she spoke out, "I'm Nefertari, who are you guys?"

Lattice heard voices, "I am here," she said to West. Obviously she believed he should recognize her by voice alone if he couldn't see her. That or she just didn't really realize who she was speaking with yet either way she responded.
"Mot," she replied back with a small smile. Two familiar voices was always a nice thing to have though Mot's voice was most familiar to her, "I will try," she said to him when he told her to watch her step and then a new person arrived.
She tilted her head toward them, "Perhaps just a little too late."
The joke was a bit lost on her.
Lattice heard the new voice introduce themselves, "I am Lattice," she replied not really seeing a reason to keep her name hidden.

"Does anyone happen to have a flashlight in their backpack? I didn't think to bring one," she wandered over to the group following the sound of their voices. She tried not to bump into any of them, keeping her tail siwshing about to find people and rocks in her path.
"And I suspect it is a bit too late for changing our mind. But we can take whatever the throw at us," she smiled. She felt rather confidant of that. Not sure why but she did. A group always felt safer, after a pride was stronger than an individual.
"So what were your rooms like?" she asked the others. She wondered what the others had to deal with in their rooms.

((Entering from Group 4's room))
Danny stepped into the darkness with her fellow classmates. She expected something bigger, something scarier than a dark room. Sure, she couldn't see anything at the moment, but there was no giant sparkling boo, or another mirror maze out to kill her. As far as she was concerned, this was a pretty tame last room.
Someone in the darkness, a voice she didn't recognize asked for a flashlight. Almost like a knee-jerk reaction, Danny lit a fireball in her hand and looked around. She couldn't see very far into the darkness, but her tail and fireball combined created a reasonable little orb around her.
There was Mot, she recognized him. Then Lattice, or was it Needle? Danny didn't know them well enough to tell them apart yet, but she knew Roch was fascinated with one of them. Other than that, she either didn't recognize the people, or couldn't see them.
"Well I kinda have a flashlight? I think Moure brought one somewhere!" Nevermind that the room probably didn't know Moure, there was also the concern that he might not even be in here. Still, she was happy to be of some use, even if it meant she was just a candle for everyone else.

Ah, Lattice. And that kid from prom. And Rain. Hmm. West looked around as his surroundings began to emerge from the darkness. It seemed they were on the edge of a canyon. He narrowed his eyes at Mot's crown, his hand brushing at the top of his own head to make sure he hadn't left that last room wearing that stupid tiara by accident. The demon sighed with relief when it wasn't there.
He almost didn't answer Nefertari when she asked who they were, but ultimately relented. No one could hurt him with that information, at least not with the name he would give. "West," he replied. "And, nope, no li--" Hmm. It seemed that fiery ghoul had the whole light thing covered.
It was the sphinx's next question that finally received no response from the boil. Mirrored toilets, tea parties, moldmallows--he felt no need to talk about any of it. Surely other students had less uncomfortable experiences to relay.

"Ah thanks," she smiled at the firey demon. At least that ghoul had wings. From the look of things they were on a ledge and that didn't bode well for those without wings or the ability to float. The others however did not look like they would do well with a fall from these heights.
"Hmm, interesting place," she looked around. She wondered what they were suppose to do. There wasn't exactly a path nor was there anyone here waiting to talk to or attack them. Maybe she hadn't chosen right but her parents had always told her she was the one who made her fate, her decision her consequences. Then again maybe this is what they meant.
"So any idea what we are suppose to do here?" she looked about at the scenery again.

[ Entering from Group 16's room. ]
Colette stepped through the door and into what she would have assumed was outside if it weren't for prior experience in a room that had a river running through it. The wind sent a shiver throughout her body while she looked around for any sign of her group members. Colette was reluctant to go through her door, but she had answered the question first and that meant being the first to move forward. Possibly a bad idea. What if they didn't end up together? If anything, she hoped they were at least safe.
Unfortunately with the lack of sufficient illumination, she couldn't spot Joachim; Tset; Taryn; or Johan. Just one ball of fire from a familiar ghoul and a couple of students. Colette walked towards it, listening to the crunch of gravel with every step. It was eerie accompanied with no other sound but the voices of other students talking.
"Psst, hey, Danny," Colette whispered as if she was trying to be inconspicuous, "what's going on?"

((Entering from Group 1))
Once again, when it came to surprises, the House didn’t fail to deliver. Hel stopped having expectations about what lay beyond the doors, since the house always threw her for a loop, but this one most certainly took the cake. The valkyrie paused as she entered the room and tensed. It was really dark in here…a wind and a chill as well, and this room looked nothing like the others she had seen and been in so far. The ghoul squinted, trying to get her eyes to adjust faster, the glow radiating from Danny helping.
Oh! There were other students aside from her team mates in this room! Team mates…er…team mate…only Mot was in here so far! Where were Shun, Mitsu and Riyo? That had all gone through the door around the same time.
The reaper started to make her way over to the cowboil, letting out a surprised sound as one rocks hit her shin, and stumbled briefly. Okay…she needed to watch her step…Hel stared down at the ground until she came to stand at Mot’s side, and then took the time to look around at who had gathered so far, or look as best as she could in the dark. Her gaze landed on Lattice briefly, and then quickly moved on from her. Oh lovely…a small frown pulled at the corner of her lips for a moment before she rested her hands on her hips. “Your guess is as good as mine, friend. I do not see any other doors at the moment that we need to reach like we have been…” Hel mused to Nefertari’s question.

((Entering from Groups 1-7 Hub))
As Moure entered, the word flashlight and his name faintly, though the rest of the sentence was pulled apart by the wing. His eyes adjusted slowly and he realized that the light off to one side was Danny. She must've mentioned him. He almost raised an arm to wave, but then realized then that that was probably a useless motion since he was outside her light ring. Instead he simply called out her name, "Danny!"
It was good to see one of his team-mates here, although there were others around that he didn't know or recognize. It was hard to see who was really there, since Danny's light bubble was only so large. As he picked his way carefully over to the flame demoness, it occured to him why Danny had spoke him name when he was walking in. He did have some light sources with him.
The patchwork swung his backpack around and quickly felt through it, pulling out two flashlights, along with a pack of extra batteries. Quickly he turned them both on, letting the light glare out into 'room'. He quickly looked around, heading toward the largest throng of people. Moure knew he hadn't been paranoid when he'd packed two. This way, if someone else needed one, they could use one too.
As he got over to the general population of students in the area, Moure quickly glanced around at those present before speaking. "I've got two flashlights, so if someone wants to use this one, they can. And I've got some spare batteries for it too, just in case." Moure offered, wiggling the one in his left hand slightly so people could see which he was lending out, along with some of the extra batteries. While Danny herself was a good lantern in the gloom, her light bubble only enveloped so much of the room after all. Moure would rather have his flashlights put to use than not.

(( Entering from the room! )) The space (if it could be called that) that Amrita stepped into was...definitely not what she expected. She recognized that they were on a ledge, but aside from that...wow, she had the feeling that one step into the blackness would mean a very, very long drop. So she stayed where she was, almost literally frozen in place and tense with fear. Heights, she was afraid of them, and she was fairly sure they were high up. Wonderful. Just. Great. The patchwork ghoul, dressed in a ballgown that was torn to be knee-length, looked more worse off than just a stunning fear of the probable-heights. Her skin was ripped around her left eye and again on her right cheek, exposing her skull for everyone to see. Aside from that she was a mess of wounds; a deep impalement mark on her chest, a bone-deep gash in her left leg just barely visible under the ripped gown, and several other cuts, scrapes and outright horrible wounds littered her entire body. The bigger wounds were held somewhat closed with a mass of safety pins, but on the whole she was a complete, bloody mess. But. At least she was standing. "I...I a-am." She managed to squeak timidly to West's yell, her backwards hands gripping fistfulls of her bloody gown. All she could do was stare side into the inky darkness around them, her only remaining grey eye wide. ...Someone was talking about flashlights?! Oh god yes please. But she couldn't bring herself to say anything more.
