General Rules

All rules are subject to change, with allowable notice given after the change. Make sure to check them from time to time to make sure you are up-to-date.

We use a 3-strike policy for offenses. There are times, however, where an immediate ban, temporary or permanent, will be used instead.


Basic Guild Rules

- Follow all Gaian Terms of Service and Rules
- Be respectful. No trolling, begging, or rude behavior.
- Crew and Captains are the law. Listen to them, and be respectful of them.
- If you're waiting on customs be patient. After three days you can bug the crew about something if you're waiting on it. Remember to be courteous.


Character and Roleplay Rules
- Make sure to get your bloodline request and profile approved first.
- You can have up to 3 characters.
- Any guild member older than 6 months with the guild can gain additional characters on a case-by-case basis.
- All skills and ranks must be listed on your profile. Failure to do so can hurt you in a fight.
- Autoranking seldom happens, and when it does it is done for special reasons. You almost will never get autoranked. This is only done for character ranks. You will not be auto-ranked for a faction.
- Your total boosts from customs cannot bring you above a +3 in stats or 2 extra ranks of power to attacks.
- Absolutely no Godmodding, metagaming, or autohitting.
- Normal RPCs are allowed three (3) combat summons and one pet.
- Any class wording regarding summons, pets, etc trump the above rule.

Leader/Nation rules


There are 3 kinds of NPCs: Teachers, Cannon Fodder, and Ranked Guards.

Teachers:

  • Are non-combat NPCs.
  • Can be no higher than Master ranked
  • are able to teach anything except restricted knowledge (certain class skills, custom skills, and faction skills)
  • Must have at least a class to grant learning bonus. Can have a Bloodline if wanted.
  • Must have an entry in a nation's NPC or Codex log to be used
  • ANY TEACHER FOUND IN COMBAT OUTSIDE TRAINING EXERCISES WILL BE REMOVED!


Cannon Fodder:

  • are combat NPCs
  • have no real skills
  • are more background noise
  • can be no higher than Trainee for rank and damage
  • limited to bringing in 5 a post, 15 a fight


Ranked Guards:

  • are combat NPCs
  • cannot be higher than Expert rank
  • limited to 5 total
  • must have a Bloodline and class
  • Must have an entry in a nation's NPC or Codex log to be used
  • While in nation, there can be 8 ranked guards. but if any are taken out for fighting outside the nation, you are limited back down to the five until they return.


Regarding Faction NPCs

  • Can only have 2 Teachers max
  • Can only have 1 Ranked Guard outside of the faction area
  • Must have an entry in a nation's NPC or Codex log to be used
  • Can be denied/removed by a VC or Captain if abused
