He had settled into his new den easily enough. He'd gotten used to the pride easily. Over all, the Prideland move was one of the best decisions he's made in years. He was happy here. There was plenty of food, plenty of lions to get to know and be friends with, and even Wyonda seemed happier here. It was the reason of his hugely stupid grin as he moved out with a hunting party.

Bahari hadn't shown up yet, but that was alright. She said she needed a couple of days before she came to the Pridelands. Maybe that'd be today. He hoped it was. Caide really did want the female with him. He enjoyed her company and he forgot all about being abandoned by Chache when they were together.

She had finally decided. She was going to join the pridelands. She was nervous about joining, having not remembered ever being part of a pride before. It sounded scary, having so much responsibility just worried her. But she knew she could do it, especially with her friend Caide. Though she had not been naive enough to realize that Wyconda didn't much like her.. She still felt she had to do =something.= With a deep breath, she headed towards the lands, her paws crushing the grass underneath them. This was her new start. She was determined.

Caide was walking with the hunting party when he caught sight of a blue spot on the horizon. His heart thumped in his chest as he realized it could be Bahari. the spot was about the right shade of blue.. Excusing himself, the pale male walked over toward the blue spot and just grinned when he got close enough. It really was her!

"Bahari!" he burst out, laughing and running to get in front of her. He could barely contain his excitement. What he really wanted to do was tackle her to the ground and just give her all sorts of affection, but they hadn't talked about anything beyond friendship yet. "Bahari, you made it!"

She saw him barreling towards her, and a smile lit up her face. She knew that she liked him, he treated her well and she had decided that her life was with him, regardless of how. She stepped closer to him, and when he got closer, she gave him a headbutt of affection in his shoulder.

Looking back at him she purred.
"Caide, I told you I might come." She said softly.

Grinning, he returned the headbutt and then licked nipped her ear and pulled it playfully. "Yeah, you said might, but... I knew you'd come. I just didn't know when.." He gave a cocky grin and then looked a little shy. He stepped back and just looked at her, taking in the different blues, the swirls of her fur... she was so different than anyone, honestly.

"So. I have a big enough den if you want to stay with me until... you get settled here. It's a great pride. Lots of food, cubs running around... Even Wyconda is working on getting some friends.. He has his own small den, so it's.. just me in my den."

"See? I have a good head on my shoulders, and you know me very well after our time together." She grinned, and when he started tugging on her ear gently, she chuckled, and batted at him, though gently and obviously playfully.

"Are..Are you sure? I dont want to burden you. I know I cant be the best sort of company." She giggled and shook her head, looking up at the male with genuine eyes. She really liked him, and her fear of telling him was almost debillitating.

"Mm, I'm sure. Besides... .... I like you, so why not? We're... good together in my opinion." He cleared his throat at that, getting a little nervous as he spoke and bit down on his lip. Well, it was true. They were good together. They laughed and joked around and played around like friends, but he sensed something a bit deeper between them. It was as though the two were afraid of messing up what they had between them.

"You could... you know, stay longer if you wanted... Forever maybe..?"

"F-forever?" She asked, as she looked back up from her paws and her eyes met his. She felt her heart beat wildly in her chest, and she was almost positive that here shortly she would be seeing it explode all over the place.

"I.. I think Id like that Caide. I mean..If you're sure. I dont want to impose." She knew what he meant, but still she wanted to make sure. She couldnt get too excited..right?

He looked down at his paws and grinned a little before sheepishly looking back up to her. Taking a huge breath, he stilled his nerves and leaned over to nuzzle his cheek against hers as he moved closer to her. "You couldn't if you tried, Bahari... Really, you couldn't..." He prayed to whatever gods were up ther watching them that she wouldn't reject this. Caide knew he couldn't handle it.

When he spoke, she felt her paws quiver and a warmth come over her body. She had finally found the happiness that she had always wanted. She couldnt remember her past, but she could find her future. She knew it.

"I-..I.. Okay. If you promise to never leave me."
She didnt think she could handle being alone again. Not again.. She had forgotten everything, she had no one to call her family, and here he was, offering. Or at least she hoped thats what she was doing.

Laughing, he nosed along her cheek and neck slowly. "....Would you like to uhm.. be my mate?" He wrinkled his nose and just kept close to her in general. "I-if not we can just be friends. I don't want to make things awkward between us. I'm sorry if I assumed something.." Caide was seriously regretting it because it was really soon. They were friends now, but he wanted to take things a step forward.
