Cygnus smiled as he ran his fingers along the rows of books. There was nothing like sitting at home with a cup of tea and a good novel, with a Pokemon curled up at your feet.

There were none here in Braille so far, but there might be some in another area of the room. In any case, he could read the titles of those books that had embossed covers.

The blind man winced when his fingers traced "100 Ways to Cook a Psyduck". Practically growing up in a Pokemon Daycare had left him little choice but to become a vegetarian.

As Zoey entered the library, some form of inner peace stirred within her. Thousands of books, all closed with promises of adventure, mythical beasts, great feats of scientific prowess, and the soul of the author that had written them. The pleasant aroma of old parchment and dust filled her noise, almost causing her to sneeze. Pleasant solitude. Or maybe not? It seemed the stranger from before had also taken refugee here. Spook chose this moment to poke his head out of her backpack where he had taken refugee and meow questioningly. The trainer hushed her pokemon before stepping forward to address the man from before and offer apologies for her incompetence.

Hearing somewhat familiar footsteps behind him, Cygnus turned. "You're the girl from the hallway, right?" he asked, a little uncertainly, unseeing eyes directed somewhere above the girl's head. "I hope your Pokemon wasn't too badly hurt. That giant bug was... unexpected." He smiled ruefully. "We barely escaped ourselves. I wonder how long that thing's been living here."

Ariel sat at Cygnus's feet, tail swishing a bit, watching the girl and her Meowth.

For the first time since meeting him, Zoey noticed the stranger was blind and she hesitated for half a second before replying. "Yeah. It kinda got the drop on us didn't it?" She chuckled nervously before continuing. "But Spook here is just fine," she said, scratching the feline behind the ears. The meowth purred at his trainer's touch, until he noticed the other trainer's espeon. Managing to wiggle himself out her pack, the cat trotted over and begin to sniff the stranger in greeting.

"My name is Zoey by the way," she continued, eying the books on the shelves. "And you've had the misfortune of meeting my Meowth, Spook." She frowns for a minute, noticing something amiss among the books. "Oh. Hey. There's a note stuck in this book."

After inspecting the note for a minute she says,"I think it's in braille. My braille is a bit fuzzy, but I suppose I can give it a go. I think it says: 'turn to the page where weak fish are not welcomed.' Do think that means turn to the first or last page of the magikarp book that's up there?"

Spook: (800/800 hp)

"I'm glad you're all right," Cygnus said, smiling. "I'm Cygnus, and the Espeon is Ariel."

Ariel sniffed back at Spook. A caretaker by nature, and remembering that the Meowth had been injured before, he circled the other Pokemon, inspecting Spook until he was satisfied that he'd fully recovered.

"Oh, you read Braille! I'm impressed. By sight, I assume? As for the clue... I'd say look for a page that discusses Magikarp's evolution into Gyarados." A flash of inspiration hit. "Or, better yet, try Gyarados's Pokedex number. Page... 130? Try both, just in case."

Beginning to become a bit frustrated, Cygnus turned back to the bookshelf and ran his fingers over the embossed titles of the other books in the pile. "Regions of the World..." he muttered aloud. "Wait, here's an idea. My girlfriend told me about a lake in Johto... The Lake of Rage, that's it. Anyway, it was supposedly created by a group of Gyarados, and it was terrorized by an angry red Gyarados for a while. Maybe there's a map of the Lake of Rage in this... well, I presume it's an atlas."
