Iah sighed and looked down on the river. Once again he was asked about Terra and how he was supposed to be going out having secret rendezvous with her. Serious if only something that romantic happened to him. At first it was because he was terribly shy. He hardly interacted much with the tribe. Then he found out he was an uncle. Seeing how Zillah had completely moved on with her own mate and children it made him feel alone. He had disappeared for a while to rediscover himself? Well something like that by the time he returned though Iah was definitely less shy and more confident about things.
Of course he wasn’t the only one that seemed to be sad at the moment. Most of the time Iah found himself hanging out with Amy, perhaps because she seemed to be down as well He didn’t know exactly what it was since he wasn’t really one to pry. None the less they weren’t suffering from the couple fever that seemed to be spreading through the tribe. However at the moment it was Iah’s turn to be just sitting here watching what floated downwards.

It had been awhile now since he left. She wasn't sure how they broke up, but they had, and it left Amy feeling worthless. How many men was that so far? Three? Four. It was four. It was becoming to much. How could Amy trust men after this? The blind vixen had a hard time trusting him and then....
The tribe was to much for her right now, what with people trying for babies and the heavy love atmosphere. She had found herself spending time with Iah and Tenma, males who seemed down by the love and one, Tenma, who was completely heart broken. Tenma and Amy had gotten pretty close, sometimes she wished he was a brother to her.
She had heard a voice of the tribe wander off recently and it had worried her, briefly. She was following the scent, a scent she knew well. Iah's. When she came to the owner of the scent she was carrying herbs, sitting beside the male. The blind vixen set the herbs down, flicking her tail.
"Are you alright? Are you sick or in pain?"

Iah was brought of his thoughts by Amy’s voice. Looking up he noticed she seemed to be carrying around different types of herbs. “Am I alright…” he repeated questioningly. “Ah yeah just decided to come here. Figured I can’t wander off somewhere if I’m already sitting down. “Iah replied. “Nothing much happens down here so I figured it was a good time to think. “Of course it wasn’t anything to important so it was fine being interrupted” Iah replied shaking his paws. He would hate to think she had bothered him in any way. After all it wasn’t really anything important and a bit of company if she chose to stay was never a bad thing. He wasn’t in the mood for way too chatty foxes, such to say hanging around embry or champagne would be bad. The girl, this being embry, was nice but it was weird looking at her sometimes knowing she had a crush on him at one point and then embry thought he was mated to her mom so she and the others took to calling him embry’s father in law. It was a note to self never to make assumptions, they weren’t always true. “What brings you down here?”

Amy nodded quietly, tail wagging in thought. "I just needed some space. The tribe is happy about the new upgrade coming and mates, I just....needed some space. I was with Tenma earlier but he returned back to the tribe."
Her ear flicked, raising her head where Iah was. "I love my tribe, but I need some space." She whispered the end of the sentence, the blind vixen patting the herbs with a claw.

Iah chuckled. One would almost never guess from the number of times she said she needed space that she needed time away. Of course manners required he just let out one chuckle and not mention anything. “Yes the tribe can be stifling. Plus there are all those changes happening it is good for some of us to go and get our own space. “ah, how is Tenma doing?” Iah asked. Unlike in Iah’s situation or he supposed Amy’s situation Tenma’s ex mate lived in the tribe. Iah wondered how hard it was that he had to deal with champagne on a regular basis.”

Her head raised, shaking it. "Not well. He hardly comes into the tribe these days. I heard that Champagne may be leaving." She frowned softly at this. Oh, one of them would be leaving, but she wondered who.
The vixen shook her head quickly, blind eyes closing. "Though I wonder if this is because of Kithara's doing or hers. I just know soon we will not be having another shaman." Her tail dragged across the ground, dipping into the river and flicking water absently.

Iah nodded, it was too bad to hear one of them would be leaving but at the same time he couldn’t imagine staring and living too close to some one you once loved. Perhaps it would remind you constantly of the love you could have had. He had never really gotten that close with terra, however even if he had at least she lived in another tribe.
“Well it could actually be both of theirs. After all there are a lot of emotions we don’t know swirling around. No matter what they chose however I wish them good luck in their future endeavors.” Iah nodded. If champagne left it would be more work for him but then again he didn’t really get along with champagne most of the time.

"There is a possibility she may stay, then Tenma is leaving." She said quietly, head shaking. Such a morbid topic, it seemed her own mood was reflecting in their talk. She pawed at the moist grown, listening to the birds in silence for a second or two. Finally she lifted her paw, extending it to Iah. A leather bracelet was around it.
"I can't get it off, can you?" She asked softly, nervously. She hated depending on others, it only made her a burden and every time she was let down. Her ears flicked back quickly. "Please?" Her voice became soft, sad.

Iah nodded, he hadn’t really gotten closer to the other male either but it would be sad if both of them go, he viewed most tribe members as his friends. However Iah decided it was high time to change the topic. It was slightly depressing in and of itself but even worse it seemed to make Amy sad. Of course Amy decided to change the subject herself.
He briefly wondered if the bracelet was from some one important, or at least was. He didn’t recall seeing it on her when he first met her. Iah tilted his head to the side and stared at it, it was a bit wet from the dew around here so it would shrink a bit as it dried. Hardly pleasant there either. “yeah lets get it a bit more wet first it should expand a bit to let me get it off you with out too much trouble.

Amy nodded as he spoke, head raising. "Thank you." She whispered, tail flicking side to side. She listened closely, found the river, and stuck her paw into it so it could get wet, wincing. Ah, of course it was cold, it was nearly November.
Amy didn't say anything as she let her paw numb, lifting it back up and moving her paw to him. She probably hadn't though about the dew, but her tail flicked against it, mouth frowning. "Ah..I could have used the dew. ...."

“Your welcome” iah replied. He grabbed the bracelet carefully with his teeth and using his paws was able to shimmy the bracelet off. However he could tell from using the river Amy’s paw was very cold.
Iah lightly took the paw and rubbed his own paws to warm up the appendage. Blowing warm air on it he got it a bit warmer before letting Amy have it back. “Yeah but we don’t always thinking about those things at the time” he smiled. “Although that should help you with warming it up a bit right” he said smiling.

She nodded quietly, ears flicking backwards briefly. "Yes." The vixen quietly listened to the males breathing, humming softly to herself. She didn't know what to do or say, she felt like lately everything she did was troublesome, that everything she did was bound to fail. Hm. She was becoming paranoid, wasn't she? Probably.
"Kithara has mentioned a trip recently. She said she will probably bring the older members along."

“That’s good, its never fun to have freezing paws. If they get too cold it causes plenty of health concerns.” Iah stated. He noticed there seemed to be some discomfort in Amy. He wished he knew what was causing it. He hoped perhaps one day she would tell him. Then again it was truly Amy’s business. If she didn’t want him to know then he would be fine.
“Yes she came to talk with me about it; I said I didn’t know if I was going. After all the tribe should have at least one shaman left behind.” Iah explained. Plus there was that whole thing about wondering off. “Are you going?” he asked. Sure one would assume the obvious no because of her lack of eye sight but Iah didn’t see it that way. She wasn’t incapable because she couldn’t see. Amy could use plenty of other senses that would be helpful on the journey.

She shook her head quickly, nearly whapping her head on a branch nearby. "No no no." She repeated, sighing softly. "I know we do not have kits yet so I should go, but...." She paused, biting her bottom lip. "But I can't. I'm blind. She offered and I declined. I should stay where I know the place best so I won't burden the others."
She paused once more, ears flicking back again. "I'm sure everyone would be happy if you went, I'm sure not much will happen back here." She mused softly.

Iah raised his eyes in disbelief and snorted. He was pretty sure she heard the snort. “Amy you are definitely selling yourself short. Sure everyone has a major fault. I used to be shy to the point of hyperventilating when any one would talk to me and I get so wrapped up in my thoughts I often find out I’ve wandered off somewhere completely unintentional. So you can’t see that shouldn’t stop you from doing anything. Personally you wouldn’t be a burden to anyone.” Iah replied and then took a deep sigh shaking his head. He shouldn’t probably quit while he was a head he hadn’t meant to just dump that all out. However Amy always thought she wasn’t good enough just because she couldn’t see. “Yes well one should always be prepared for the worst. Say I do go and something major happens. I would never forgive myself that I hadn’t mentioned one shaman should stay behind. Since there are two of us, at least for the moment we should split ourselves up just to have both bases covered.
