Songbird Target Practice
The Ash Maiden’s step-sisters are wicked things so it’s time for the birds to take wing.
Go for the face! Go for the eyes! Just take care not to die.
Opens: 4PM MST October 27, 2011
Closes: 4PM MST October 31, 2011

*Note: As this seems to be a point of confusion. The days run from 4PM MST one day (when I make my post) until 4PM MST the next day (when I make my next post). That gives 24 hours for each round. One day.

Good day song birds and welcome to target practice! A game of aim! And the aim of this game is to go for the bull’s-eye, or in this case the horse’s, and rack up points. The top two scorers will find themselves strutting away with some lovely prizes.

Rules:
1. No mules
2. No proxies
3. You may only roll/use the RNG once per day
4. No deleting posts

How to Play:
~*~This game will run for four days. Count them, four.

~*~Each day I will make a post at roughly the same time closing the previous day’s rolls and opening the new day’s rolls. Do not roll for the next day before my post or you will not get points for the new day. (These do add up by the way. Trying again after the proper new day starts will cause you to lose points for the following day on top of the one you just lost.)

~*~Each day you will either roll a single 100 sided die OR randomize a number between 1 and 100. You may do either one but you may only do it once. If you use too many dice or randomize with the wrong numbers I’m sorry but you will receive no points for the day.

~*~If you delete your post you will be disqualified from the entire game.

~*~If gaia has a small case of failure and causes you to double post the first post is the only one that will be counted. There will be no penalty for gaia’s mental issues so please please please don’t delete a double post and get booted from the game.

~*~The goal is to get as close to the target number of 50 as humanly possible. HOWEVER, there’s a catch.

~*~On each day’s post there will be a target that will tell you how many points you get for the number you generated. (For convenience all these posts will also be recorded on the front page so you don’t have to go hunting. If you aren’t sure if a new day has started check the front page. When the new days target is up the new day is in progress. (I’ll add them after I post them.))
~~~~The reason you must wait for my post each day is because every day the zone for getting points will shrink.

~*~Edit your post with the points you earned for that day. You won’t be penalized for failing to do so but it makes my life a lot easier and I’d really appreciate it.

~*~If you would like to keep track of your past scores in addition to your points for the day please feel free to do so. (Just do not add these points together or I will get confused. Do like: Day 1-X Points. Day 2-Y Points.)

Example

On day X:
Bullseye-50 is 10 points.
Red Zone-45-49 AND 51-55 is 5 points.
Blue Zone-40-44 AND 56-60 is 3 points.
Black Zone-35-39 AND 61-65 is 1 point.
White Zone-Off target, no points.

~MsPonyProwler uses a 100 sided die and rolls a 57. MsPonyProwler gets 3 points for that day.
~MyFlippyFloppies uses the RNG 1-100 and gets a 68. MyFlippyFloppies gets 0 points for that day.
~TokyoBound gets a 42 and receives 3 points for the day.
~Deeeeerp782 manages to roll the elusive 50 and gets a whopping 10 points for the day.

Then on day Y:
Bullseye-50 is 10 points.
Red Zone-47-49 AND 51-53 is 5 points.
Blue Zone-44-46 AND 54-56 is 3 points.
Black Zone-41-43 AND 57-59 is 1 point.
White Zone-Off target, no points.

Everyone rolls the same number only today MsPonyProwler and TokyoBound each walk away with only 1 point. Deeeeerp782 still gets 10 points and MyFlippyFloppies still gets 0 points.

Day 1

Bullseye- 50 is worth 10 points
Red Zone- 40-49 and 51-60 is worth 5 points
Blue Zone- 30-39 and 61-70 is worth 3 points
Black Zone- 20-29 and 71-80 is worth 1 point
White Zone- Off target, no points

Day 2

Bullseye- 50 is worth 10 points
Red Zone- 43-49 and 51-57 is worth 5 points
Blue Zone- 36-42 and 58-64 is worth 3 points
