Biography: Asuka was the daughter of a singer and she inheirted her mother's skill. So she was wisked into the world of music. She didn't go to a normal highschool. SHe went to one where they had class for only two hours a day. It was her eighteeth birthday and she was walking home for some odd reason. This man a fan of hers apparently told her he was in love with her. Well she fell in love with him as well. About six months later he proposed to her and she said now. In a rage the man brutually murdered her. She woke up in this villiage and was told she was dead. So people from the Academy picked her up and said she was elligable to be a soul reaper. She went through training and she refused to fight with her zanpakuto with other people. She was exceptional with Kido and her intellengence. She learned her blade's name and vowed not to use it except in the time in dire need.
Well six months ago she graduated from the academy and Daichi chose her to be her Vice captain of his 8th Company. There was an incident when her and the Captain of the 10th Company Alex Cross had a drunken sexual experiance. Well they had feelings for each other for awhile but they were so drunk they couldn't remember. Well she got pissed when they remembered so she challenged him for his captains position. She broke her vow and drew her blade with out fear and ended up almost killing Cross. She showed him mercy and he did as well. Well she now has a scar over her left eye from that fight. Then alex showed up to her office carrying the captain commanders coat and said she was chosen to lead by the council of the 46 and other captains as well for showing no fear to one of the most feared captains out of the 13 companies. She thought he was joking but in the end she said yes and she trained with Alex for a long time. She also achieved unity at this time.
Times are getting harder for her now. Asuka was told tha one of her captains might betray the Soul Society. Who they said it was shocked her and messed with her heart. She noticed how Alex had been acting strange and it is causing them to drift apart. Her heart is torn in two directions ALex or the Soul Society. SHe finally made up her choice. If Alex betrays the Soul Society she will kill him with her own two hands. She decided her duty goes before love in the end.
It's been several years now since she became Captain Commander and Alex left. If he came back he would be killed due to the fact be betrayed his position as a captain.Some people still have an issue with her being Captain Commander but most respect her.

Hers looks like a fencing blade but the blade is white and the handle was all swirly and a golden color. She was the last in her class to find out it's name for it always played games with her which irritated her.

Description: still in the fencing blade style but the blade is yellow and the hilt is the shape of a lighting bolt.
