Ring Step (Su): Fey can pass through a fairy ring into the realm of Gaia.

Class:

AC Bonus: When unarmored and unencumbered, the monk adds her Wisdom bonus (if any) to her AC.

These bonuses to AC apply even against touch attacks or when the monk is flat-footed. She loses these bonuses when she is immobilized or helpless, when she wears any armor, when she carries a shield, or when she carries a medium or heavy load.

Flurry of Blows:

When unarmored, a monk may strike with a flurry of blows at the expense of accuracy. When doing so, she may make one extra attack in a round at her highest base attack bonus, but this attack takes a –2 penalty, as does each other attack made that round. This penalty applies for 1 round, so it also affects attacks of opportunity the monk might make before her next action.

A monk must use a full attack action to strike with a flurry of blows.
When using flurry of blows, a monk may attack only with unarmed strikes or with special monk weapons (kama, nunchaku, quarterstaff, sai, shuriken, and siangham).

She may attack with unarmed strikes and special monk weapons interchangeably as desired.

When using weapons as part of a flurry of blows, a monk applies her Strength bonus (not Str bonus x 1-1/2 or x1/2) to her damage rolls for all successful attacks, whether she wields a weapon in one or both hands. The monk can’t use any weapon other than a special monk weapon as part of a flurry of blows.

In the case of the quarterstaff, each end counts as a separate weapon for the purpose of using the flurry of blows ability. Even though the quarterstaff requires two hands to use, a monk may still intersperse unarmed strikes with quarterstaff strikes, assuming that she has enough attacks in her flurry of blows routine to do so.

Evasion:

At 2nd level or higher if a monk makes a successful Reflex saving throw against an attack that normally deals half damage on a successful save, she instead takes no damage. Evasion can be used only if a monk is wearing light armor or no armor. A helpless monk does not gain the benefit of evasion.

Roleplaying session in Private RP

Summary: Shiaree is drawn to an undiscovered, or unexplored at least, area of the castle where she finds the stained glass window containing the spirit of Aquae, the lake. There, the child is finally released from her curse.

Roleplay session from pages 8-9 of the Stables thread

Summary: Muris meets up with Equus, and then is encountered by Shiaree bringing Aquae to put into the mouse-Fey's care.

Muris had settled some items into her room for the infant. It wasn't a big room, really, but she'd managed to get what she needed in. A small rocking chair was settled by the book-case, where she often sat to read Aquae a story. She had not bothered with a crib-- Aquae seemed content enough to sleep in the daybed with herself, and as both were small, they fit rather nicely cuddled up together.

Most days, that was what they did after a long days' work. When Alces was busy doing whatever it was the King asked him to, she would leave him be for some time. Besides, he shouldn't have to worry about taking care of the child that was left in her charge.

Aquae was unsettling, though. The mouse knew that she was of a somewhat noble family-- she had looked through the books in the temple where Aquae's chambers lie. Her mother had been a monk of sorts, and her father minor nobility. She held the title of Lady, or would, when she was older, hold that title.

And yet she was in Muris' charge.

Snuggled gently in the woman's arms.


The girl herself, however, seemed not so concerned about such things. While she was less than fond of the surroundings smelling of horse and being a bit unkempt, she was more peaceful here than anywhere else she managed to toddle off to occasionally.

She enjoyed Muris' company, and looked on her as a secondary mother. In fact, she barely remembered her real mother, and so Muris became almost a primary mother figure.

She snuggled more closely to the Mouse-fey, enjoying her warmth and the sound of her voice as she read quietly aloud. While she didn't understand all of what the woman was saying, she didn't really mind that fact.
