Full Name: Adeline Gloria Vertz, But please, call me Adele.
Age: 27
Sexuality: Heterosexual
Height: 6’ 0’’
Weight: 130
Hair Color: Grey Blue
Eye Color: Cyan
Occupation: Master Tailor
Personality: I’m usually pretty laid back. I know everything about sewing, and fabric, within reason. I’m sure there’s some sorts of enchanted fabrics, especially in the lands of the elves and fairies, but I know everything a human would ever need to know. Like I said, I’m very laid back and quite friendly, however, I will correct you if you call chiffon a silk. I also have what people call ‘presence’. When I walk into a room, even if you don’t see me, you know I’m there. The atmosphere changes somehow, but not in a threatening way. In a way where you want to do your job better, because I am there.
Biography: My mother was a designer, specializing in evening gowns, and she sewed all of her own garments. I was the envy of every girl when it came to school dances because I was in couture, however I was never very popular. I was friendly with a few people, but I never won a place on student council even though I ran, or even class representative, even though I volunteered.
Well, moving on, I didn’t attend a higher university after primary school. I started working for my mother right away. And while I tried my hand at designing, I was horrible at it. So instead, I resigned myself to becoming the best seamstress in the kingdom, and I succeeded. I’m also a great stylist.
I never used to sell casual clothing. Once my mother died, to honor her I restricted myself to sewing and selling strictly off the runway couture gowns and avant-garde collections. However, as time passed, this proved to be a financial disaster, and I simply had to expand. Now I sell everything from evening gowns to toe socks, and I’m doing spectacularly. So well in fact that my store, which used to be a tiny shop in one tiny little room, is now three floors.
The first is nothing but casual wear, your one stop shop for everything comfortable. Brand name to knock off jeans, t-shirts branded and boyfriend, as well as pajamas and cute cotton panties. <3
The second floor is all about being noticed. Drop dead gorgeous gowns hot off the runway, to cute cocktail dresses made by local residents. Here you can also find lingerie for those intimate occasions, and our make up counter.
The third floor is nothing but accessories. We have an entire wall devoted to necklaces, bracelets, and earrings. We have one just for purses. And we have the other two set aside for nothing but shoes. We have the highest heels to the flattest flats. Also on the third floor is our repair counter. I can fix anything. Except shoes. If you break a heel, you’re on your own.
We pride ourselves on being able to dress anyone, babies, royalty, and everyone in between. I’m the best there is for miles around, and don’t you ever forget it. I’ve worked hard to get where I am today, and I’m very proud of it. It’s the one thing that can push my buttons.
Likes: I love New Babies~! Stilettos, Apples, Blue Roses, Grape Cocktails, Rare Fabrics, Pearls, Steamed Carrots, Grilled Mackerel, Kittens, Birds, Milk, Books, Independent and Confident Employees.
Dislikes: I absolutely hate Rude Customers, Screaming Toddlers, Yellow Lilies, Lime Anything, Flannel, Cabbage, Sardines, Horses, Medicine, Loud Music, Being Asked the Same Question Over and Over.
Journal ---
Family Members My mother passed, and I was an only child. I never knew my father, not that it mattered. I love my mother, but she used to be sort of trampy.
