Lillie nervously had to keep her hands away from her belly. She was nervous and waiting for the guest to arrive. She had the food warming after all the prep she did last night to get things going. She paced back and forth in the 50's looking dress that she wore. worried about how everyone would react.

▬Yuri § Solotov▬ Yuri was equally as worried, pacing about the dining hall that would soon be containing the two families, making sure everything was set in the right place and looking presentable. A small bead of sweat found its way to the side of his head, there was no denying that this was one of the most on edge he had felt in a while. Once he could no longer distract himself with the room, he found Lillie and exhaled slowly. "How're you holding up?" He asked, knowing she was just as nervous as he was.

Lillie stopped her pacing even for a moment. "Nervous." She answered then smiled. She was probably being a little silly about it but that was just the way see felt. "I'm sure Abbadon and Elendil will get along and my uncle and mom will be easy to get along with. But do you remembered the wedding when my dad got into a fight about magical theory. I swear that's all he can think about some times." She answered remembering their wedding.

▬Yuri § Solotov▬ Yuri nodded, he expected her to be nervous, even more so than himself. He thought about the families gathering in the one spot and let out a sigh. "As long as Sir Khamsin doesn't feel the need to exorcise all of us, I doubt there will be any mishaps from the knights...although I have a feeling that Lyx will try to flirt with your cousin...again..." He told her. Khamsin had not been at the wedding, as Ashton had grown gravely ill during the time, so him and the two brothers, Vashyron and Marcosias, stayed behind to tend to him. That left just Sir Virulent, Felfor and Lyx, the three of which got along reasonably fine with those around them during the wedding. Lyx, however, took to flirting with Abby the moment he caught sight of her. Not only that, Yuri swore he saw a look in the knight's eye that said he would have attempted to do the same with Sopian and even Ren given the opportunity, something that could not have ended any other way but badly.

Lillie looked at the clock. "Fifteen minutes till the start. Knowing my father he'll be early and mother would here just right on time." The woman commented as if right on cue Len with his son holding on hand and with the other hand he held Ren's. Abby and Sopian came behind with Abby's father taking up the rear. Lillie walked over and greeted her father with a hug which he returned.

▬Yuri § Solotov▬ As Lillie greeted Len, Yuri greeted her cousins, bowing respectfully to both of them and casting a friendly smile to Ren and Abbadon. "I wonder if it will take long for Virulent and the others to arrive." Just as if his thoughts were heard by some deity watching over them, Yuri saw them from one of the front windows. The Kylin Knights, all seven of them this time, arrived soon after, easily noticeable as they still donned their armor, although thankfully their weapons were nowhere to be seen.

Lillie changed her attention to the knights. She saw her family nearly every day so her greeting was less formal. She stepped up the knights. "Welcome." she said doing a curtsy. She could just feel her father sending glares already. She was pretty sure that unlike the knights that her father did have a wand on him. She then got up and reached out her hand to shake each of their hands. "I'm glad that you could make it."

▬Yuri § Solotov▬ Each one of the knights accepted Lillie's greeting, bowing just as Yuri had to Sopian and Abby. "It is a pleasure to see you again m'lady." Virulent said, a small smile breaking onto his face. "Well well, hello again lovelies." Lyx said to both Sopian and Abby, his cheerful expression fading suddenly when a hand was placed on the back of his head, firmly pushing it into a bowed position. "Do not start this again." Felfor said, looking to the two girls and apologising for Lyx's unknightly behavior. As the rest of the knights were introduced, Yuri couldn't help but notice the slight glare Len was giving, he held his brethe for a second. Walking up to the man, he hesitated for just a second before extending his hand out to Lillie's father. As much tension as there was between the two, Yuri wanted to at least try to make it so they were on good terms.

Sopian smiled and flipped her hair. "Sorry. I have a boyfriend." She commented. Meaning she wouldn't give Lyx the time of day. "And Abby here is seeing a model." She added. The girls then walked over to hang together. Lillie smiled as they recognized as help mate. She didn't want to be thought of as getting in their of male bonding. She then noticed Yuri approaching her father. Len looked at the boy for a good long second before turning around. Letting Abbadon free to do what he wanted. "You have a lot to learn about what I am to you." He told Yuri. Lillie came up behind him and snaked her arm around his. "I think he's becoming fond of you enough to think that a hand shake is too formal." She told him. Abbadon started to look at the knights and even go up to them and tapped on their armor. To find out what it was made of.

▬Yuri § Solotov▬ Lyx had simply raised an eyebrow at Sopians remarks, opening his mouth to make some sort of comment. The look that Felfor gave him said 'any more words and you'll find my next action far more painful'. Felfor wasn't a particularly violent person, but Lyx's mannerisms towards women always rubbed him the wrong way. Yuri's attention from Len turned as he felt Lillie's arm loop around his, facing her for a moment and giving a small smile. Hearing footsteps come towards them, the elf looked around to see Ashton, smiling lightly before bowing to the three of them. "It's been a long time Yuri. I'm sorry for not being able to see the wedding with my own eyes all those years ago, but I doubt anybody would appreciate me sneezing over everything and such." He said, rubbing the back of his head as he turned to face Lillie. "From what I heard from Virulent and Felfor, it was a wonderful occaision...I know it's belated, but congratulations to both of you." Yuri simply smiled, hopefully the mood of what may come soon would allow Ashton to congratulate them for one more thing. Vashyron and Marcosias, easily the two largest men in the room, looked down simultaneously as the young boy tapped Vashyron's armor. Slowly kneeling down, he tilted his head at the boy, his eyes invisible in the darkness of the helm. Slowly, he held out a hand to Abbadon, to allow him to study the metal greave a little closer, each joint clinking lightly with every movement.

Lillie smiled and nodded. "You did what you had to do to keep everyone fine. It's that a knights duty?"Lillie questioned him telling him at the same time that it was fine. The door opened for the final time as her mother, brother and uncle walked in. Her uncle probably looked more like her escort then brother. Elendil was the first to break rank and go over to Abbadon and poke at the hand and armor of the knight. "I hope everyone has room for all the food I make. Please sit down an I'll grabbed the food." she told everyone in a clear and loud voice. She then started turned towards the side kitchen it wasn't long before her two female cousins joined her to help get the food.

▬Yuri § Solotov▬ Had Lillie not instructed him not to earlier, he would have gladly gone with them to help, knowing that there would probably be a little tension during the wait. As Yuri gestured the knights to their seats, he had realised that there was only one other knight that hadn't spoke who normally would have by now. "You didn't tell me your father-in-law was one who was capable of weilding black magic, Yuri." A voice whispered. Without looking, Yuri knew exactly who it was, even if the voice had been different, the tone and the subject led to only one person. "Sir Khamsin, please. Whilst I respect your views on the subject, he is no threat to the knights. You have my word." He whispered, facing the white-haired knight. It took Khamsin only a few seconds to know what Len was capable of, he was the only Kylin Knight who had a sixth sense about unnatural abilities. "I'll hold my tongue, for your sake. But you know what may result." The knight replied as he found his chair. Trying his best to cast away the thought, Yuri took his seat and looked around at everybody. Noticing the brothers, Yuri rubbed the back of his head and faced Lillie's side of the family. "I apologise in advance if the wearing of helmets during such a meal appears offensive. I assure you though, Sir Vashyron and Sir Marcosias have sworn an oath not to remove those particular pieces of equipment." He said, the two knights simply nodding in confirmation, Virulent nodded as well, mostly to tell Yuri that it was probably a good thing to address that, just in case. {This'll have to be my last post >.< I'll hopefully be back tomorrow night if I'm lucky}

Lillie came back with a basket of rolls and two salad bowls that where balanced well, Sopian brought the two hams that were already cut, while Abby brought the some pitchers of water and a bowl of mixed fruit. Lillie returned to the kitchen to grab a bowl of mashed potatoes and gravy before she sat down. She knew a bunch of things she could make fast with it being a nice meal. "Being a knight is honorable and everyone should be ready for if something happens."Lillie's mother, Unborn, commented. "Even my children have gone through years of practice." She added with a smile.

▬Yuri § Solotov▬ Yuri smiled lightly, glad that it seemed that nobody took offense. The attention of him and the knights was shifted to Lillie, Sopian and Abby as they re-entered the room. Virulent nodded at Unborn's remark, his face that always seemed like it was deprived of sleep still retained a smile. "No truer words have been spoken, m'lady. A knight's oath is, to him and him alone, above any law or legislative forced upon him by another man. To try and stand in between a knight and their ability to keep that oath is of the highest levels of disrespect." Ashton suppressed a short laugh and nodded cheerfully in agreement. "The consequences of even attempting are just as great. When the brothers first joined our ranks, I became a little too curious...attempting to remove the helm of Sir Marcosias..." He paused just for a second to raise his hand, his palm faced the rest of the guests. A dark, ragged line across the hand that would have once been a tremendously deep cut was easily visible even from a distance. "Well, I think the rest of you know how this story ends." He said, still in a cheerful manner, Marcosias simply shook his head slowly, as if saying 'not this again'. Yuri smiled lightly and looked around the table. It wasn't long before his eyes found Elendil, sitting across from him. "So how are you doing, Elendil? It's been a long time since I saw you." He asked. He had only really met the child twice. The first time during the event and the second being at the wedding. Beyond that, Yuri knew little of him, but was curious as to how his English had gotten over the years.
