I'm Rachel! 17 year old high school senior here. xD I love RPGs, sleeping, dogs, and much more. I work really hard at school, and am going through all the college applications process which is stressful. x_x I'm not entirely sure where I want to go yet, but I want to be a meteorologist. I've narrowed down my decisions, but it's really come down to whether or not I can take being really far from home. I actually just got back to school. I've been out for a month because of mono, a stomach bacterial infection, and heightened liver functions... I went back to school this past Thursday, but while I was at home, I got back into Gaia, and I'm glad I did because of this thread and the minecraft thread I'm also active in. :D

Hi, I'm Susan. I'm 27, finished my bachelors in Plant Breeding and Genetics, can't move and am allergic to the primary crop in my area, (corn pollen makes my face swell shut) so I'm S.O.L. as far as jobs go. The closest thing I have is reigniting my Girl Scouting days by starting up a business making and selling jewelry, that I may expand to involve commissioned D&D/Warhammer/40k/etc miniatures.

I'm a "geek-of-all-trades", that is to say, I love video games, art, music, Star Wars, Star Trek, Lord of the Rings, other fantasy works, books of most kinds, I sing... If someone's been called a "nerd" or "obsessed" because of being into something, chances are I've at least dabbled in it, if not have a raging nerd-ladyboner for it. If there was a job for a Professional Hobbyist somewhere, I would totally be making the big bucks.

That said, in the last two years my only source of income's been from doing taxes for the big green square... So, I'm also a tax-nerd now. WHO KNEW THOSE EVEN EXISTED? The fact that we can be playing Mini-Golf in a building pumping loud "creepy" music and basically discussing tax laws intensely enough we forget our scores regularly... yeah, that's pretty nerd-happy.

I should probably mention I'm married to the guy who got me into gaming. I'd like to say we're happy as always, but things are kind of up in the air right now. I am in the process of a divorce from the previously mentioned guy. It's a long story, and I have better long stories to tell, so don't ask.

Something I wish I could do again is travel, being stationary bothers the crap out of me. I spent my childhood traveling to England every couple years to see my grandparents, I went to Germany in high school and spent two months doing an internship at a landscaping company in Japan. I almost went to New Zealand for a full semester abroad, but circumstances moved against me on that. I miss traveling and would like to expand my list of places I've been so if I ever decide I do want to reproduce I can be like my mother and turn to them in the middle of a movie (Fellowship of the Rings) and say "OH I KNOW THAT RIVER! I've been whitewater rafting on that river!"

So what's the closest you've ever been to punching your mother in public?

Hi, I go by Val here.

I enjoy reading, gaming, writing, drawing, whittling and listening to music. My fav gaming platforms are xbox and ps. I have many pets and they are endlessly breeding so I constantly have baby animals in the house. I'm 22. I have aspirations of being an illustrator...
I enjoy zOMG on here, because it's cute. I like cute things as much as I like scary things, but never together sad sad

I keep losing my job because I'd rather read a book or play a game than go for a drink. To be honest hearing my boss telling me in great detail what her husbands nutsack tastes and smells like(not very nice btw) is not how I want to spend my evening.

Wow TMI, sorry, still irritated.

Haha, the first bit about your nerdyness made me laugh, my mother is the same. Must say, never wanted to punch my mother in public, but she once attacked me when i was a teen... I was getting bullied and she wanted to teach me to fight, so out of nowhere.... yeah, I couldn't punch her she meant well and was drunk. I did push her over a couple of times though.
I HAVE wanted to punch my dad in public. He's offensive and tactless.
Why d'ya wanna punch your mum at the time of this post?

Re-read the part that's left in the quote from me there. Specifically note how much I want to travel and that I had to turn down a trip to New Zealand... Which is where Lord of the Rings was filmed. My mother spent a year in Australia for her first teaching job out of university and instead of flying back, she took a ship back and spent a couple weeks around New Zealand before crossing the Pacific.

I wanted to punch her because she had to go and rub it in, that's why.

Hi there! Almost eighteen and on my final year at high school. I enjoy writing, music, researching, reading, drawing, and gaming. I plan on joining the Art Institute for video game graphics. I am greatly inspired by Bioware and Bethesda because of the realism and amazing stories they put into their work. I would love to be part of that. Video gaming is definitely an art.

I have played Oblivion and I am ultimately excited for Skyrim. Unfortunately, I haven't played any of the other Elder Scrolls in the series. I have heard of them, of course (Daggerfall, Morrowind, etc.), I've just never gotten the chance to really play them. Possibly through this I could become more convinced to play the series and share my love of the series with the guild.

Lovely meeting you all! emotion_c8 heart

Hey all, names Max Void. That's the closest to my real name as I ever let anyone, who doesn't know me physically, gets. xp

I'm 21 (born in May), a working pseudo-student. Anyone else work for Slaveway? scream

My interests are GAMES, movies, comics (manga or american, idc), and Monster Energy drinks. emotion_omnomnom

The earliest I started to play video games was when I was about 4 years old (1994? '95?), and I started with Dr. Mario. Not exactly RPG like as the adventure games I'm into now, but; once a puzzle gamer: always a puzzle gamer. rolleyes

That's all from me. Add me if ya wanna chat! 3nodding
Haven't met many people (seeing as how I'm an unsocial WoW player), but since I work in the service world I normally get along with people. pirate

Hello! I'm Joya, but I usually go by Jojo. I'm a 15 year old Sophomore in High School. My dream is to become an Illustrator, though I also want to work in Multimedia as well. Therefore, I plan to attend Ringling College of Art and Design for a Bachelor's Degree in Illustration after I graduate.

I practically grew up gaming. My Dad has always been a gamer, so he really influenced my younger brother and I. I grew up playing games like Silent Hill (my favorite series to this day), House of the Dead, Fatal Frame, Soul Calibur, and others. Genres that I generally enjoy are Survival Horror (Preferably with psychological influences), Action/Adventure and RPGs (I can't stand turn-based RPGs). Currently, my favorite games (besides Silent Hill and The Elder Scrolls) are Shadow of the Colossus & Ico (I'll play anything made by Team Ico. I'm quite a fan of Fumito Ueda's work), Dragon Age, Bayonetta, Bioshock, Dante's Inferno, Castlevania: Lords of Shadow, Soul Calibur, and Kingdom Hearts.

I have only played Oblivion. When I first started playing Oblivion a few years ago (A student of my Dad's gave it to him. He'd never tried it, so he gave it to me. If it wasn't for that I probably still wouldn't know of the Elder Scrolls), I was instantly hooked, and played it religiously. I'm eagerly awaiting the release of Skyrim this week.

Outside of videogames, I enjoy drawing, listening to music, Kung Fu, & writing.

Nice to meet you all. smile

Hiya, I'm Heather. You can call me that, or Orange, or Mo0nsugar, or pretty much anything else that sounds like me and I'll probably respond xD

I'm 22. I've been in college for 4 years now, but I've switched majors so many times that I'm just now about to start the degree program that I think I'll actually graduate with, but at this moment I'm in a Crime Scene Tech program. CSI makes it look way more interesting than it actually is.

I've been playing The Elder Scrolls series since Morrowind. I seriously love the hell out of Bethesda Studios. If its not clear, my avi is currently a raider from Fallout xD

Uh... yeah. I'm not very interesting.
