A little tailor shop owned by the off island business monger couple, Joe and Mary Smith. Having heard that there was an island somewhere in the middle of nowhere in development, they rushed there and bought a bunch of building and opened various shops that were missing on the island. This is only one of them! Of course, they'll be more then willing to sell it back to anyone with a right prize.... and if whoever decided that they changed their mind and leave the island (or, most likely, die in a horrible death), they'll be more than happy to rebuy it for half the price! This is how they make their money. Until someone take over the ownership of this shop, they'll be happy to run it from the mainland, almost never coming on the island to see how it's going. The employees, NPC or not, are then free to work like always and customers to use their services.

Lilia stood inside the clothing store, deciding that waiting outside for her date was just too.. well, not good enough for her. But, the tailor's designs weren't much of an upgrade. Ugh, who even wore these rags? It was all so.. ew. And how did the tailor know who was going to buy what? Surely everyone had their clothing fitted, right? They didn't just.. guess, right? She felt her stomach twist as she thought of the horror life would be if she had to search through racks and racks of clothing to try to find the perfect fit that also was of some actual quality. It.. It would just be impossible! ..No, no, it wasn't true. It couldn't be. These were all just.. models of what the tailor would make if someone couldn't afford their own designer to sketch out the wardrobe of their dreams. These weren't to be bought! Yes, yes, Lilia wouldn't be able to comprehend a world in which people – even lesser, poor people – had to be so generic on what they clothed themselves with. Still.. she turned away from the racks of clothing to face the window looking outside, watching for this 'Riley'. His name didn't sound very appealing, but, well, it did have two letters that were in her own perfect name. He couldn't be very bad.

Riley had his hands in the pockets of his dark jeans and was wandering up and down the street for quite some time until he found the place. He never needed to go to the clothing store. He brought clothes with him to the island and continued to wear them. It didn't make much sense to keep buying clothes when these fit fine; it must be a girl thing. That was probably why a girl was having him meet her here and why Tatyana spent so much money importing clothes. He stood just around the edge of the place, trying to peek in at the person that he was meeting. If it was too fat or ugly, he could just bail now. But, all he could see was a young girl. Maybe his date hadn't arrived yet. It was a little too cold for him to keep standing outside, so he thought it was smarter to go inside. He pulled the door open and looked around the place, making sure his mystery date wasn't hiding out of sight from the window. There didn't seem to be anyone else here, weird. He turned back to look at the little girl. " 'Sup. Have you seen anyone in here looking for a date? I think I may have missed her. Got lost trying to find the ******** place."

Did he have to make her wait so long? Lilia had eventually come to crossing her arms, looking out the window and noting irritatedly that it had started to snow. Great. The jacket she had brought didn't even have a hood! She stole a look back at the clothing advertised in the store, almost fearful that she would have to buy something here to protect her hair from getting all.. snowy. But, that would beg the question – was it worse to put some tattered peasant clothes on her head or let nature's snow cover it? ….Ugh, this wasn't going to be a fun day. She would just have to figure something out, she decided when the door opened and her attention went to there instead. The boy that walked in, and she prayed to everything good (AKA, herself) that this wasn't the guy, seemed to be.. gross. Icky. From his piercings to his worn out rags, she felt like she was looking at the lowest of all peasants, one that had just crawled out from some alley or sewer.

When he opened his mouth at her, she felt her nose crinkle slightly as he made very clear he was her date. There was no one else waiting her outside of the mindless NPCs, after all! But.. Did she seriously pay a thousand dollars on that? “...Ew.” She started with as she pinched her nose, backing up a step and speaking softly to hide how nasally it was right then, “I think there's some mistake. I'm Lilia and, please, you're not Riley, are you?

Riley watched the girl, waiting for an answer. It seemed that she had smelled something, apparently bad by the looks of it. So, he took a few sniffs of the air at first before hearing her speak. " Yeah, I'm Riley. Wait. Hold the ******** up. You're holding your nose because of me?" He made it a point to exaggerate this with his arms, waving first towards her then back to himself. He let out a groan and looked her over. "What are you, like ten? Why are you buying dates anyway. Shiiit." He smacked his hand against his forehead in attempts to figure out what was going on. He couldn't go on a date with some little girl, that was weird. Even he had never stooped to the depths of *****, and he had thought about some pretty messed up things before. He even caught himself checking out Tatyana from time to time; what could a guy do? But this. This, was just weird. "I guess you paid some large amount to win me or ********, so what did you have in mind?" He was going to stop to let her talk, but then he realized that he had a few things he needed to make clear. "Oh, and I'm not going to do something date-y, and I'm not doing something stupid. Like a ******** tea party or dress up or whatever. ******** that s**t." He crossed his arms once he was finished, a bit pissed off. He should have known better than to go out on a ******** limb like this.

While Riley smelled the air like some mangy mutt – which was Lilia's new name for him. The Mutt. It fit nicely, she decided after a second glance, but that was beside the point. While he did what mutts did best, she found herself cringing at his crude, inelegant language. She was so used to having to deal with more.. refined people that listening to someone curse like a sailor hurt her ears. She gave a sniff – but not of the canine variety; a sniff of someone who was obviously well-bred and on top of the food-chain in this world. A blue-blood sniff that Lilia did in utter perfection. “Of course I am. What are you, stupid?” She retorted to his accusation on her age like any grown up adult would, crossing her arms under her totally-real-and-not-a-stack-of-several-cushy-pads breasts to emphasize them. “I'm one hundred percent adult and you'll treat me such. I don't take kindly to stupidity.” Oh, yes, go Lilia~! She sounded so mature right there!

She smiled slightly in pride at herself and went on in complete confidence, “For the record, I own you. I can make you do annythiiing I want.” She almost sang out that word as she held back a giggle – oh, she loved telling commoners the truth! “I have an outfit prepared for you in the dressing room. Go get it on now and burn those disgusting rags you're wearing. My Goddess, you mutts have no class, do you?” She added with a barely withheld roll of her eyes at him. It was just.. ugh. At least he'll look much better in the clothing she picked out for her date.

Riley just sort of stood there for awhile. Just staring at her. Who in the ******** did she think she was? That was a good question, "Who in the fuuuuck do you think you are?" He watched her, assuming she was imitating his smell of the air, ******** her and her stupid little spoiled brat attitude. This was looking like it was going to make the top 10 worst days ever list. All he could think was fuuuuuuck on repeat as he looked at her and listened to her. He felt almost as if he was speechless, but then he remembered that he always had so much to say. He stared at her as she spoke and when she had finished, he was still staring, mouth agape. "You don't oooooooown s**t. You got one date. I can say that this date is over wheneeeeeeeeeeeever I want. You're ten. I'm twenty-five. Do the math, brat." If she was going to give him a pet name and accentuate her vowels, he was going to do the same. "I'm not burning my clothes, and I'm probably not wearing whatever you have back here either. I told you no ******** dress up." He turned to walk into the back and found what she had for him. "Oh hell no." He walked back out without the clothing on and crossed his arms. "No." There was nothing else left to say.

..Ugh, did Lilia get the worst of the lot or what? She was completely appalled as she listened to Riley talk back to her like.. like.. like she was someone who wasn't Lilia Sonata! How could he think that, though?! There was no one as flawless and perfect as her and.. and it was just so STUPID! She didn't know what else to call this situation! She had the biggest frown ever on her face as she glowered at the Mutt, a glower that only intensified as he came back out. Without the clothes she chose from her daddy's old, glamorous wardrobe! She dropped her hands, both of which balled up into little fists and quivering with how frustrating this was. Her face was a cherry hue and her lips pursed to thin lines, a foot stomping as she screamed at him, “I OWN you! I do, I do, I DO! I know I do and someone like YOU can't tell me NO! I say no! YOU don't say ANYTHING!” Her other foot stomped to punctuate that and her hands darted up to her neck to tug out an emerald studded necklace, a small, iron box dangling at the end coming to rest in her palm.

She stuck her tongue out at him as she hit a small, white button on it. It was in seconds that through the doors came jumping in a trio of pink poodles, ears back underneath a cute police officer cap as they snapped and snarled at the air. All except for Cici, the smallest of the pups, who looked rather dazed and confused. But, that was fine to Lilia; Cici was always the stupid one. Flo and Ren were her stars! ♥ She crossed her arms, “My puppies are trained by the best trainers in the world. I can make them do anything to you if I wanted to – unless you do what I ask? Mm? Mutt?” She giggled – oh, she had him~ No one could look at a poodle's jaws and not be a little afraid!

-New Day-

"Not this..... Or this..... Oh this!..... No... Hmph!"
A hush voice hummed in the aisles of racks of clothing. In front of a long line of tops was a familiar blonde to the store. It was kind of cliche for a young teenage girl to be spending her day shopping, but it really was the only way Erika could spend her time without being bored. In fact, this was about all she could do to spend her time bored or not. Peter had been coming over less and less... And, well, spending time with her father was getting a bit old. Not that he didn't love him, it was just... She was getting older. Plus the baby was coming, and things were just leaving little for her to entertain herself with. Which is why, she had decided to spend her day out enjoying herself shopping up the town. The selection didn't change much, and she didn't have much money, however that didn't matter. To the girl, this was all just for the experience. Like playing house, or doctor, or whatever people did when they were kids. Just, a more grown up version. Erika hummed away as she swayed aisle to aisle searching for the perfect outfit to not go home with.

Despite having met no one since she had moved into Sonata Town, Nessa actually had explored the place quite a bit. Every evening, she would be outside, looking through windows and knocking on doors just to see who would come out from behind a nearby bush. She had been busy taking in the residents of the town and assessing them, trying to memorize faces to addresses before she even said hi. By the time she had managed to get a good handful down, it felt like nearly a season had passed and Nessa had realized that she really should move onto stage two in this new environment before she got to be labeled a total recluse or something. Stage two being interaction with one of her previous doorbell-ditched residents – not that they would know it was her.. That would just guarantee a disagreement from the start! Nessa wasn't going to allow someone around her age to dislike her before she even started school.

..But, then, following the girl for a good few blocks probably seemed pretty creepy too, huh? She stopped and thought on that for a moment, keeping an eye on the girl as she turned into a clothing store at the end of the street. Maybe she didn't notice? The people in this town seemed pretty absentminded and carefree for the most part.. She bet she could get away with a lot of stuff! Still, it was better to be on the safe side. So, when she finally reached the store too, Nessa forced herself to wait at least five minutes before entering – at least that would give the blonde damsel some time to forget about any worries she could have had outside of the store in favor of looking at the clothing. Nessa considered the clothes to maybe pretend that she happened to need something new to wear too, but.. it was awfully hard to do that when nothing here fit into Nessa's wardrobe at all. It was pretty generic stuff.. Nothing cute and traditional as she had hoped an isolated island would have. She made a small face as she pulled a shirt out from one of the racks, looking it over critically. ..Yep.. Nessa would have to learn to sew if she wanted to survive here clothed. “It's SO hard to find ANYTHING here.” She announced loudly as she let go of the shirt, allowing it to fall back into line with all the other clothes.

The blonde was becoming increasingly frustrated with the boring situation she was in. To think that even pretending to shop for close would end up becoming just another mundane thing. A small frown almost crossed Erika's face when she heard a young and energetic voice. A voice that signified another teenage girl in the area. The blonde perked up on coming to that conclusion and began to search around for the speaker. Eventually, her eyes caught onto another blonde, around the same age, doing about the same thing. Erika hid behind of rack of clothes nervously and touched her face to check for a nervous blush. This could be a chance to make a friend! She had yet to make a true friend like on TV! Peter and Wil were... Well they were them, and boys! Erika always wanted to meet a girl to talk to... Maybe this was her chance. The teen scurried her way to a spot on the rack across from the other blonde and opened her mouth nervously. "R-Right?" She said in an almost mouse like tone that was reminiscent of her old self. She cleared her throat afterward and took a more outgoing approach, "This place is so plain."

Ah, there she went! Nessa smiled proudly as she heard the quivering response of the other teenager in the store – she had gotten her attention! Now to keep it, which was never hard for Nessa. She looked back over her shoulder at the back of the other's head. Yep, it was definitely the Page girl! She set her eyes back onto the dull shirt they were focused on before, not taking in any details as it wasn't of any importance to Nessa. Instead, she admired her own charm bracelet as she spoke back in a more appropriate tone now that she had a target, “Yeah, you're right. But everyone here seems to dress like that, I guess.” She commented as she turned around to walk to the same rack the Page girl was on, looking at the blonde with a smile, “But you look like you know what to wear. I'm Nessa.” She introduced herself pleasantly before glancing at the register with a frown, “I always get my clothes online anyway. What about yours?” She looked back to her interestedly, just in case there was some other clothing shop on the island.

"Erika," The now happy little blonde responded with a small smile. Her cheeks had turned a little pink at the compliment. It really was nice to talk to another girl. Blaire knew fashion, and Brooke new as much as Erika did. Her little sister had always been a sort of doll up until recently. However, neither of them really liked to talk about fashion. No one she had met liked to... Well except Yuri, but Erika's father was never fond of the young woman. Which left the teen to live in her own little world of fashion. "T-Thank you," She finally mustered up as her hands fiddled with the bottom of her skirt, a nervous tick of hers. Erika took a lot of care into planning her outfits, even if she was the only one who noticed. "My family doesn't have enough money to order them online," The girl spoke, wondering if she was over stepping some kind of line saying that. She forgot the thought regardless, "I um-..." Erika hesitated a bit before speaking. Nessa could easily think Erika was lying about it... And that made the girl nervous. But, "I make them myself," she spoke sheepishly, her pink cheeks turning redder, "You know! From scraps... And stuff."

Oh?” Nessa said, sounding surprised as she heard the explanation. It was interesting! But not that surprising, really – on this small of an island, she could easily see all of the women knowing something like sewing. She bet Erika could cook and clean like a pro as well – it was pretty cute. She smiled, amused, and took another look at what Erika was wearing. It wasn't the fashion Nessa was into, but, considering it was handmade, it was actually pretty good. She felt more sincere in her earlier statement as she spoke again, “That's cool! Can you show me how? It would be much cheaper and easier to just make everything myself.” Or have the twins do it, but she doubted that either would be capable of learning. Besides, she didn't want to rely on them for something like what she wore – she would never leave the house not embarrassed in some way! “Would I need a sewing machine or something like that?” She added thoughtfully as she took a look around the tailor shop, wondering if they would be the ones to sell supplies. She wasn't worried about cost, really – Edmund would buy it if she asked. He would probably be ecstatic to see her picking up a new hobby – and a friend with it.

Erika couldn't help but show a large smile. It was strange to be admired for something that she really wasn't confident in. And even more so, Nessa seemed interested in learning. Erika turned around for a second and pumped her arm victoriously. She was excited about the chance to make a proper friend. She turned back to the other blonde quickly, keep her smile, "You don't!" Well, "I mean it's easier with one, but you don't need one," she informed Nessa with a voice that was a lot more confident than before. After saying that, the next words made the girl a bit nervous, "I wouldn't mind teaching you." She could come over, and they could talk about their lives! And they could dress up in cute clothes! And do... Other stuff! She didn't really know what else there would be to do, but it was more than nothing. Plus it would take time to teach someone to sew. Erika learned by herself, and... Well it was a trial. However, if teaching someone else how to do it was her chance to make a friend, she'd figure it out. "You could come over any time," She informed Nessa with another small smile.
