Moving was tiring work. Boxes still littered most of Neils living space. Needless to say, things were cramped. And being in ones room with so many boxes was not comfortable in the least. It was just the push that Neil needed to go on out and get some fresh air.

Of course, the gimblewolf did not bother equipping his pin. Natural form was a little more comfortable after all. Most of the other students seemed to be on a field trip any ways. The little wolf padded with all the confidence in the world that no one would bother him. What with his backwards headphones, and mean look.

Well, in natural form he was more adorable then mean looking. But that was despite the fact. Most students seemed to not be around.

He had made it out side the monster dorms. Instinct took over a little and the gimblewolf was rolling in a funky smelling patch of grass in no time. His legs kicked up happily as he rolled his back in what ever it was he was smelling. The gimblewolf's mouth flowered happily open allowing his tongue to hang to the side as he rolled.

No one would see this. He was safe.

Yeah, everyone was gone, pretty much, but Elsa hadn't gone on said field trip, thus was left with nothing to do, well... Besides stalk this new student. She had also been in her true form, hiding in the shadows as the new, smaller student rolled in the open grass without a worry in the world. A sly snicker passed her lips as her golden eyes narrowed. She felt confident enough to approach this the student, and well, she might have forgotten how large and freaky she might have looked to someone who didn't know her.

With a huffed up chest the Dream Eater took a lunge forward and laughed widely as she pounced at the small wolf-monster, forgetting yet again want personal space was and meant.

He would be cool, right?

The gimblewolf had been attacked by some unknown student! Well, he assumed that it was a student due to the larger size. Mini pets didn't tend to get that large. But it didn't matter at the moment what was pouncing him. Just the fact that he'd been pounced.

The flowered open jaws shut tight in surprise and Neils little legs kicked wildly at the pouncer. A low growl erupted from the wolf monsters throat.

"UNCOOL!" Was all he managed in a low growl like voice. There wasn't much wiggle room given underneath the mystery creature. Neil was stuck and clearly the underdog, literally and figuratively, in this situation.

"Uncool?", She stammered and rolled herself off of him. What did that mean? She wasn't cool? Her heart sank back into her chest as she ruffed her shoulders and glared at him for a long moment. His mouth was funny looking, well, to it he was... And she started to laugh. Like... Really laugh. She laughed so hard her sides ached. Unable to stop herself she lifted a clawed hand to her mouth as if to muffle herself long enough to chuckle out the words.

"I'm Elsa."

Oh god, what was he? She was confused and intrigued.

"What ar... I mean, who are you?"

She was /trying/ so hard not to laugh. Really... okay, maybe just... a little.

The moment the creature rolled off of him was the moment he rolled back to his feet. He had missed her questioning the statement he had made. But he didn't miss her name, and the fact that this was a her judging from the female voice. But the gimblewolf did not offer his name. Instead he sat and stared the creature down for some time.

But she was female so she was easily forgiven for the uncool playful tactics.

"I'm Neil." Was all he said. Giving more of an explanation would be considered tacky or uncool. So Neil just stuck with his name. He really wasn't in the mood to small talk after the attack, but Elsa was a female. And it was uncool to be rude to females.

The fact that she was trying not to laugh caught his attention though.

"Something funny?" He gave her a serious look that came off as adorable in his natural form.

"I'm sorry."

She smirked the best she could, well, maybe he couldn't tell if she was, she sort of... Didn't have that noticeable of a mouth, after all, she had an owl face, but no beak. Weird. Anyway.

"You're just super weird looking."

Said the pot to the kettle. She wasn't aware of how odd she looked too, after all, to Elsa, she was normal.

"Not in a bad way, I just wasn't expecting someone so...."

She paused and gazed at him.

"Cute."

Yeah, he was so stinking cute, she wasn't going to deny that.

She was calling him weird looking and then she was calling him cute. Both were not compliments in the gimblewolf's book. The distaste did not show on his serious, almost bored, looking expression. But Elsa had managed to hit home on the gimblewolf's insecurities dead and hard.

"I take it you like a more main stream look then hmmm," Neil was so absorbed in his own thoughts about him self that he didn't even think about Elsa being a bit of a different creature.

"Me personally. I think main streams lame," He was hiding the fact that he was slightly hurt. But really, he was hurt. His pride. He'd been called cute. Pride seemed a bit like a distant memory. Besides, main stream was super lame.

"I don't think I know what you're talking about, but I think I just like what I like."

She gave him a nod, her narrow eyes looked somewhat like a grinning fox's. She was odd, but she liked odd, and so that meant she liked him.

"You're not like anyone else here, sort of like me. I like that."

She was honest, at least. As she spoke she wiggled herself closer to him and sat right beside him. Again, personal space? What? She didn't get it. At all.

"So, is today your first day?"

She wanted to know more about this... wolf-flower. He seemed so very special. Truly one of a kind.

Neil listened to what Elsa had to say. She wasn't laughing at him now which made the gimblewolf start to relax, just a bit. All and all, Neil was still a little tense from being cute. But now that Elsa pointed it out, she was kind of weird looking too. Not that he'd say that to a girl.

"First week," His mouth flowered open as he spoke up to the demon and or monster, "Your the first soul I've seen round here actually. Guess the field trip took most of the students. Not that I care."

Really, Neil didn't care.

"So what about you. Are you my senior or are you new too?" Small talk had started. It pained Neil a bit but it had started.
PostPosted: Thu Oct 20, 2011 3:56 pm

"I'm new, but older than you."

She had this strange way about her, she didn't seem pushed or bothered by anything really. Tilting her head to the side the Demon yawned and gave him a sort of frown.

"You're not very fun are you?"

She was trying, but she wasn't, and that wasn't fair so... Mmm. She lifted herself up onto her feet and tilted her head down just enough so that one of her antlers pushed at his little-dog-body. She wanted to do something, she wanted to run, or wrestle, or something. (She was like 1012919219211 times bigger than him but she honestly didn't take that into consideration when she pictured them being best pals.)

"Come on, get up. Let's go do something!"

She seemed very excited.

"Older then me...? What? How do you.." And then she said he wasn't fun. Neil was speechless at that bit. His mouth flowered open in shock. Not fun? A stick in the mud? Being overly excited about stuff was not cool though.. Right? This ghoul was questioning his man hood and Neil wasn't sure how he felt about that.

But there was no time to ponder those thoughts as Elsa took action and Neil found him self being poked, almost in the eye. The little gimblewolf struggled and even bit at the antlers. His jaws clamped down tight on one of him and he let out a little dog snarl.

GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR

The canine in him had taken over momentarily. The wolf monster tugged a bit at them.

As he took a hold of one of her antlers in his mouth (??) she giggled, assuming that the dog-flower... Liked bones. She quickly lifted her head and spun around in circles a few times, trying to give him some sort of... 'carnival ride.' (Spinning in circles was super cool, right??) once she felt herself grow dizzy she slowed down and pulled her head back so that the monster was catapulted up into the air, flying way over her head.

She was having SO much fun! He must have been too, right? As he flew up into the sky like some sort of weapon of mass destruction, until gravity said hello and started to push him back down to earth. He could feel his body weight dragging him down as he fell closer and closer to the ground below.

Right before he could hit the ground, Elsa jumped up and made sure his little butt landed on her back (Like a child on a horse), and chimed, laughing.

"You went SO high! It was amazing, I've never seen anyone fly so high! You're amazing!"

She was VERY pleased with him. She thought he knew how awesome what he did just was.

The spinning had weakened his grip on her antlers quite a bit so when she launched him; Neil had no prayer.

And there the now very confused gimblewolf was. Flying. Soaring. FALLING!

AROOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

But before that howl could even be finished he was safely on the back of the maniac who had launched him in the first place. Neils heart was beating way to fast to be normal and his breathing had quickened. Everything had not caught up to his senses yet. There was no way any of what had just had happened could have been cool.

Elsa made Neil fear for his life. But he would be damn if he made the mistake of latching on to her antlers any time soon. So the freaked out pup clung to Elsas neck the best he could with his paws. It would have been easier if he had hands, but all and all it worked.

"Your... Your... INSANE!" Yes, insane could be used as a compliment in describing ones coolness. Neil was using it more in a literal sense though. What exactly had he gotten him self in to? The canine was to afraid to let go of Elsa though so he clung even more, now fearing for his life.

Okay, so, Maybe Elsa WAS a social retard. Maybe she didn't get how to.. Well, be normal; but to be called insane? That was just rude. If she had tears to cry, her eyes would be watering right now, but instead she simple brushed him off safely to the ground and spun in a circle until a cloud of black smoke fogged his view of her.

She didn't mean any harm... honestly.

She was so embarrassed, on top of feeling like a total loser. Maybe it was time to go study, or... Well, anything to get her away from this whole situation, she needed to leave.

As soon as the smoke cleared he could see Elsa in a more... Humble form. She had turned back into her psychical state, perhaps out of self defense, but she wouldn't dare tell him why. She was lean and her skin was almost pinch black, her face was masked by a layer of white and her black hair was cut in a way that complemented her features (And antlers). She dressed in clothing that was very Victorian-themed and whimsical, and though she stood barefoot, she covered up pretty modestly.

Her golden eyes, glowing as they always did glanced at him with an unknown feeling of sadness. She had never felt so embarrassed before. Tilting her head to the side she ran her delicate fingers over her shoulders and sighed.

"I... I'm sorry. I..."

She was truly speechless. She just wanted to run away and hide.

"I'm sorry I bothered you, I'll go now."

As she spoke she turned herself around and started to walk toward campus. Elsa hadn't made a friend today after all.

Black smoke. Neil shielded his eyes with his little stubby paws and winced. But then it was gone. Standing there was a lean dark figure in Victorian dress. The gimblewolf could only blink with his mouth flowered opened in shock. She was gorgeous! But... sad?

Suddenly Neil felt like a bad guy. His heart sank in his chest and his ears lowered. Shame was a funny thing wasn't it? And it crawled all over the gimblewolves being now at the sight of Elsa.

"No. You .. Dont have to go."

Neil pulled his pin from his head phones and pressed on it. There was a bright light, only to fade away and reveal a tall slender wavy haired fellow. The slouching he was doing was doing his height no favor. Red eyes focused on Elsa.

"I ......" What was he supposed to say now? This was a problem he'd created!
