"Eiyaaaah!"
Katarina's Nurse Joy had become the unwilling participant in a set game of odd fetish bondage as she was held captive in the grip of a rather giggly looking Tentacruel. Even so, she managed a scream from her fear and disgust as the Tentacruel tightened around her waist. The vigilante before her suddenly stiffed from sudden fear and shot the nurse a sea-raged glare.
"Shut her up!" she cried from terror towards the Jelly Pokemon.
With hearts floating in his eyes, Menkar wrapped another wiggling member around her mouth and hugged her head tight. Unfortunately, the strident wail had certainly attracted the attention of someone or something and with a sweat streaming, furrowed brow, the Galactic gal knew she had to take her leave soon. Strewn about her was a hefty shamble of tech parts. Wires were wiggled worms across the tiled floors, there was more screws loose than in the mind of a lunatic and electricity cackled like high laughter. Pulling a mesh of wires again and throwing aside a plastic covering revealed her prize: a motherboard half the size of her forearm. Gloved hands gripped at the center chip and pulled, stretching the rubber covering of wires and covering her arms in an invisible sheen of electric spittle.
"I'd like to apologize, ma'am, for having to take this." The Galactic grunt grinned as she hefted the thin piece of computer technology up. "Team Galactic is suffering in the tech section, so we're forced to steal parts to keep our computer system in check. Without this pretty piece of machinery, we could possibly lose all our data. You may think its unfair, this is the main chip for your healing machines after all. But what's a couple Pokemon lives to thousands of gigs of data?"
Cetus sighed. She really was only talking to herself, wasn't she? "If you know anything of Team Rocket, speak, and I'll return this piece in full. They have all the tech we need . . . and more."
The nurse only stared; scared, forlorn. She wanted to answer, even a lie, but the Tentacruel kept his limb stretched taught across her mouth.
"My, you're speechless?" A smile. "Whatever. Come, Menkar, Acid!"
The Tentacruel giggled cheerfully with a tiny, "Warble, warble~" and tossed the pink haired physician aside like a ragdoll. Reading his claw like jaws, he spat a large splat of deep black at the adjacent wall. Quickly, the thick black burned a hole and it is by this time, someone or something saw the middle aged miscreant withdraw her Tentacruel and flash a happy little smile towards their hardened face.
"Au revoir." she saluted as she made a mad dash. So the chase began.

"Shadoooooooow," whined a short fair-haired kid wearing a ridiculously over-sized fur jacket and earmuffs - winter fashions that looked a bit out of place in the fall. The said boy was currently pushing his quite bulky Empoleon towards the pokemon center and the Empoleon seemed quite adamant on not moving.
"Come on, you have to get your montly chec-"
"Eiyaaah!"
Both coordinator and pokemon shut up and perked up at the scream. Shadow, the Empoleon, threw away her former reluctance to enter the pokemon center and instead rammed right through the door. It took Socks a while to realize that 'oh wait, Shadow just disappeared into the pokemon center where someone was screaming and oh dear god is Shadow trying to be play the hero again?!'
"Shadow! Wait up!...darn it, I knew I shouldn't have let her watch all those action hero cartoons..."The boy, much slower and physically fit than his pokemon, pathetically trailed after his pokemon.
Shadow arrived at the scene of the crime, barely managing to spot Cetus start her mad dash. He wasted no time in launching an ice beam at the fleeing girl, sensing that she was the source of the chaos that had occurred in the room - the melted wall she was fleeing through was a pretty good sign.
Socks caught up with Shadow moments later, panting heavily. He stared at the chaotic state of the room. "...oh god, what did you drag me into this time Shadow?"
The Empoleon didn't reply - "Wha, Shadow! Where are you going? D..Don't leave without me!"
And so indeed the chase began.

Cetus had not expected assistance to appear so soon. The crash and tumble of the bolted doors made her curse heavily under her breath and as her fingers began to loosen from their salute, her hand was stiffened by a harsh blast of frost. Her hand (her good hand) had caught the blunt end of the Ice Beam, leaving for a terrible case of frostbite. Still, the sudden wash of adrenaline set her spirits flying.
"Trying to play hero?" she shouted playfully, feeling youth dredge from some unknown, darkened crevasse and crack her voice as she took to the streets of Katarina, pushing people as she ran. She had not turned to look behind her, so she wasn't aware the joker playing knight was actually a Pokemon. "Catch me if you can~!"
Her quick footsteps were heavy, but she wasn't feeling the burn of running yet. Cetus had trained her body well. It was a must for a field scout. "Move your asses!" she screamed as she hoped over a Vaporeon and shoved their trainer into Katarina square's fountain. She slammed a young girlie with their Kricketot straight to the ground and sent a old man's teeth a-flying as she shoved him the face. With the crowd, she would surely slow down. Too bad that really wasn't the case.

Duo had totally planned on minding his own business. After all, he was VERY new to Zatao, and was looking to just stay low and not get himself into trouble. Well...too much trouble. Trouble seemed to find him wherever he went, dammit.
Like now. The scream from the Pokemon center he'd passed a few minutes ago made him groan. Crap. So much for no trouble in his first day off the boat. And then the chaos in the crowd started. And the source of it was headed straight for him, apparently. Well...this couldn't bode well. One hand dipped into one of the large pockets of his jacket, wrapping around the collapsible baton in there (one couldn't be too careful when one was Pokemon-less) as he seemingly got out of the way...only to pop his leg and foot in the way again to (hopefully) trip the lady that would have barreled right past him.
This was definitely gonna be One of Those Days.

The next following moments were almost comical. Cetus's concentration was upon the faces of the fools who became obstacles, not the feet that carried them. When that protruding member shot from the man, Cetus lost her footing. Instinct told her to roll, so she tucked her elbows in and mimicked a barrel being roughed up over harsh waters. The chip loosened from under her false arm and skidded across the cobbled stones before coming to a clattering halt a few yards ahead of her. She too came to a stop, groaning as her fake limb shifted out of place. s**t. So she was doing this get-away solo armed. Wonderful.
"b*****d, a*****e!" she shouted to whoever tripped her up. Their face was was lost amongst the people. "Burn in hell!"
No--
Shaking her head, she figured it was no time to seek distractions. Sea green eyes darted ahead, searching for the fern piece of plastic. When it was pinpointed, the Galactic grunt popped her Tentacruel's Great ball from her pocket and threw it.
"Menkar, take that s**t and run!"
The ball burst midair and the Tentacruel landed with a slimy slap to the pavement. It continued the chase by hastily grasping the motherboard piece up into his tentacle and squirming off as fast as he could.

Socks decided that for his next birthday, he would definitely ask his parents for those fancy state-of-the-art running shoes that helped the wearer run faster. Shadow was over 3 feet ahead of her trainer and continued to gain ground on the galactic grunt while Socks kept losing ground.
When the Tentacruel took the chip and fled, Shadow paused for a moment before choosing to go after the tentacled pokemon. Afterall, it was the more dangerous of the two. His trainer could take care of the other villain...probably.
Socks paused at the scene of Cetus on the ground, joining the sizeable crowd of people gathering towards the commotion. He decided to catch his breath and find out what was going on. "You," Socks panted and pointed at Cetus, "what were you up to at the pokemon center?"
((We need a police officer in here! xD ))

Menkar warbled as fast as he could, though his slimy slithers were hardly speedy. "Warble . . . warble . . . !" When the Tentacruel saw he was being pursued, his flailed all eight tentacles from panic. "W-W-W-Warble!"
His soft arms could not uphold speed against the sandy friction of the floor beneath, so (for once in the Tentacruel's life) he became creative. "Wargle, warble!" he shouted to those in front of him, hoping to build a path. In one quick spit, the Tentacruel sprayed a thick spray of Acid and slid on, hoping to obtain momentum across the asphalt and stone. Like a licked thumb across melted butter, the Jellyfish Pokemon slipped and slid across the toxic path.
Cetus rolled herself to her feet, rubbing her loosened arm as it dangled like a dead snake. She didn't answer; there really was no use. This boy was exploiting confidential information. Instead, she growled lowly and readied her good fist. She was dirt covered and scratched, evidence of the barrel roll. Even so, she was not going to fail this request. A good look at the fella nearly made her laugh. He didn't look like a fighter. Oh. So without delay, she pointed behind her (in some attempt at distraction) and fled in the direction of her Tentacruel.

Even if Nyla didn't hear of the commotion over the police radio, she still would've noticed the large crowd and the Tentacruel sliding on acid. She had hurried as fast as she could to the scene of the crime, hoping that the thief wasn't too far away. It certainly didn't help that people were huddling around the event, either tripping over themselves or watching. It even looked like one trainer decided to help, which Nyla was thankful for. It looked like she was the only police officer in the area (not surprising) so she was glad for the extra help.
"Move out of the way!" She told the bystanders. Nyla would not stand for it if the thief got away because she was hampered by all the peoples. Quickly surveying the situation, she hastily made the decision that the Galactic Grunt was the more important of the two criminals.
"Daybreak!" She commanded her Espeon to her side. "Telekinesis!"
The Pokemon gave the slightest of nods as her gem glowed in the sunlight. An invisible force developed under the fleeing grunt's legs that started to push her into the air and hopefully stopping her in her tracks.

Truth.be.told Feel free to post after this sorry for posting twice Q.Q ((Socks is still derping around)) The acid turned out as convenient for the bulky empoleon as itdid from the tentacool. Empoleon luckily had a resistance to poisons with its steel armor and slid through the oil with the hard-earned grace of a contest-pokemon. "Empol!" She declared with determination. However, Shadow wasn't stupid. She knew that she may not gain enough ground fast enough to catch that slippery Tentacool. She had to stop it somehow. The penguin pokemon opened her beak and launched yet another ice beam at the ground in front of Menkar to create a several-feet-tall wall of ice that blocked the Tentacruel's path.

Menkar splatted onto the ice wall with a wet slap. Torchics began to dance lively around his head as his mind became a jumbled mess of comedy gold. It was truly something you'd see out of Saturday cartoons. Gaining back hold on his mind, the Tentacruel turned about to see a penguin Pokemon torpedoing towards him. Crap.
Cetus thought herself safe this time. Unfortunately, it was not the case as her legs were held in a taut, psychic bind. She glared her eyes behind her to see an Espeon lifting her haphazardly into the air. She hung upside down as the force brought her upwards, but she wasn't going to go floating off into some random direction without putting up a fight. The Grunt first pulled out her grappling hook. Using the bend of her thumb, she clipped the miniature hook onto her waist and shot the trigger. A low pow followed by a whir zipped the treble through the air and around the base of a street lamp. Huffing as blood coursed rapidly to her brain, Cetus than withdrew a Pokeball.
"Algenubi!" she cried as the Pidgeot broke from the ball. "Giga Impact!"
The Pidgeot flapped his wings twice to gain momentum before making a harsh dive downward onto the Espeon. Even if its attack missed, Cetus hoped it'd break the Espeon of its concentrated hold on her for but a moment so she could get the hell down.

Shadow realized that oil didn't quite function the same way as ice and couldn't skid to a stop. But she didn't want the tentacruel to get away, so she continued towards Menkar, fully prepared to tackle the jellyfish pokemon down to pin it down and take back whatever it had stolen...if Shadow didn't destroy it on accident first from the force of the impact. Meanwhile, Socks slowly backed away from the combatants. He was without a pokemon right now and it was probably best to let the officer handle the situation. As soon as he saw that both of their attentions had been taken off him, Socks made a bee line towards where Shadow had run off.

It was hard for Daybreak to not notice a giant bird speeding towards her, even when she was concentrated on the Galactic Grunt. She leaped out of the way, landing next to her partner, but unfortunately had to break her hold on the thief to do so.
Nyla didn't miss a beat when the new enemy appeared. Yes, the Pidgeot was a threat, but battling it would be for nothing if the grunt got away. She clipped a Pokeball from her belt and threw it to the air.
"Era! Dragonbreath!"
An Altaria emerged in a flash of red light and immediately went after the Pidgeot. She released a steady rainbow beam at the fellow bird Pokemon, specifically aimed for the wings. After all if she couldn't fly, she wouldn't be a threat.
Meanwhile, Nyla was trying to figure out what exactly the grunt was doing with that grappling hook of hers. Whatever the plan was, it wouldn't be smart for her to carry it out. Daybreak's gem glowed once more as energy stars formed around it and they were shot towards the rope, their razor-sharp edges gleaming in the sunlight.

Even though the steel-twined-Spinark thread cable was the strongest of its kind, the energy stars cut through it cleanly like a steaming hot knife through butter. Cetus widened her eyes as she began to fall, shouting the name of the only nearby ally in the area: "Algenubi!"
The male Pidgeot widened a verdant eye as his name was called, swiftly dodging the Dragonbreath with a sharp ark downwards. The Altaria's attack had not been a complete failure: it singed the Pidgeot's tail plumes to a soot black.
"Pi-geoooot!" he cried from the damage, but simply threw the matter aside as he brought in his wings to carry his descent faster. Cetus screamed as she fell, but her screams were halted with a stiff huff as Algenubi caught her squarely on his back just in time. He rebounded a little under her impact and weight, but shifted both wings up to catch the air and make off into the sky.
"Good catch, Al." Cetus breathed, clutching onto his neck from gratitude and an attempt to calm her nerves. She shook, having truly felt she would die. The plushness of the bird's feathers were extremely relaxing, enough to want her to drift to slumber, but she knew the chase was still on.
The Pidgeot regarded her with a nod, but actually was a bit disappointed. That Altaria was cute; he wished he had more time to play with her.
The Empoleon hit the Tentacruel dead on, proving for a wonderful spare as the Tentacruel fell a fainted mess. The motherboard he held went flying into the air and skidded a length away, open for anything to scuttle on by and snatch it up.

Socks managed to arrive at the scene of the collision before any stray human or pokemon picked up the motherboard. He easily spoted the piece of technology and delicately picked it up. On close inspection, it seemed...like a piece of metal. Socks didn't know much about technology, but he hoped it wasn't broken. Nurse Joy wouldn't be too happy if it was.
Then, the coordinator turned his attention to his empoleon who was also quite disoriented by the collision. With a sigh, Socks held up a pokeball and recalled his only pokmeon. "You silly," he scolded lightly.
Now, with motherboard retrieved and armed with a pokemon once more, Socks went back to report his findings to the officer.

Admittedly, Nyla was more focused on her battle with the Grunt than with the side ongoings with Socks and the Tentacruel. So she looked surprised when she saw that the trainer had the stolen component in his hand. And it was intact too! That was a surprise, considering that it had been flying around for a considerable amount of time.
But she'd be damned if she was going to let the thief escape! She murmured a half-hearted thanks to Socks as she returned Daybreak into her Pokeball. Era swooped down close to Nyla and didn't even have to land in order to pick her up. The officer grabbed her by the wing and pulled herself onto her back and they took off after the grunt. While they weren't going to catch up to them in a blink of an eye, Era fired quick bursts of Dragonbreaths in order to slow the Pidgeot down, or hopefully ground it.
