Seruna: *follows the bowl carefully, having a hard time pulling her claws from the soft ground beneath her* I don't know what you're saying little bowl.... But your father told me to watch you.... And I am happy to oblige.... Don't be so mad. *flicks her tail*
Exabyte: -ears swivel some, his head lifting from the computer he'd been looking at when he heard the bowls voice- .... -gets up from his chair, and walks over toward the shop door, his eyes flickering- Ziva?
Ziva: *hops forward a few more steps, flailing her chopsticks around when she hears him* [Exabyte! Thank goodness! Please tell this lady to leave me alone. D| She keeps following me and acts like I need to be watched while hanging out with you.]
Seruna: *looks up at Exa, her eyes cautious as she moves up behind Ziva, carefully standing above her* Hello.... Do you know this young bowl?
Exabyte: -blinks, his eyes flickering,b efore he glances back up toward the young dragon, ears pinning slightly- I do. Ziva is my Spartan. She apparently doesn't think that you need to watch her so closely..
Ziva: 8I *jabs a chopstick into Seruna, chiming in agreement*
Seruna: *shifts a little, gently touching the bowl, her hard scales barely feeling the poke* Oh.... Her father did not tell me.... That.... But he did ask me to take care of her while he spent time with his mate. And I must do what is asked of me by friends. Even if she does not enjoy it.... May I ask your name, sir? *attempts a gentle smile*
Exabyte: -nods his head some, trying to keep himself calm, his mind flustered with random thoughts- My name is Exabyte... And you are? -moves his tail to lightly touch Ziva to tell her that he was near by-
Ziva: *feels his tail and hops towards it, Rune's tail snaking around her and pulling her back as she chimes in annoyance* [D| It's not like he can hurt a /bowl/. Especially when he admits I'm /his/ Spartan!] *chiming in vain cuz Rune can't hear bowls. Sadface*
Seruna: *holds Ziva too her, gently stroking the bowl as if to try and calm the uncalmable* I am Seruna. *bows her head slightly, allowing her claws to sink in despite her annoyance* Her father, Nirav, is a good friend of my best friend and savior, Ishme. I was asked to watch her, so I take my job very seriously.... I'm sorry if that seems a little unfair to you. I, after all, know nothing about you.... But that's sort of a point for both arguments. ^ ^;;
Exabyte: ... -stares, ears flattening farther before he stands up some, his jaw clenching- Seruna... He knew you. -takes a slight step back, before sitting back down, eyes flickering back toward Ziva- I can take care of her. I have spent hours with her before with no problems.
Seruna: Excuse me? *tilts her head slightly, watching him with curious eyes* Are you alright, sir....? And I'm sure you have but.... She was left in my care.... I can allow you to spend time together, but until her father says you are alright to take care of her.... I must stay. *gently removes her tail and allows Ziva to bounce forward some*
Exabyte: -blink some and tilts his head, before leaning down and nuzzle the bowl slightly, making sure she was okay- I'm fine... -looks up, eyes somewhat sad, yet hard-
Ziva: *wiggles bowl, chiming a bit* [I wish we could start training right now! D| And I wish I was grown so I could tell this lady that I don't like being looked after like a stupid, worthless child. I'm a spartan, dammit!] *steams*
Seruna: *relaxes a little seeing his tenderness with the bowl* Are you sure? You have the look.... Like you're trying to kill me with your eyes. *wiggles her claws and flicks her tail*
Exabyte: -blinks slightly, before he shifts and puts his tail lightly around the small bowl, tilting his head- You'll just have to put up with her for a little bit longer, Ziva.. -eyes flicker back up to Seruna, staring somewhat, before he sighs and tilts his head to the side- Because you knew him... He mentioned you once..
Seruna: *watches, a slight smile playing at her lips before she allows her face to straighten* Who exactly did I know....? *freezes slightly, allowing her tail to drop, really hoping he isn't making reference to the past she doesn't know*
Ziva: 8T [I hope so.] *settles into his tail*
Exabyte: -blinks and stares at the small bowl, before he looks up, ears flicking slightly, and stares at her with a straight face- ... Raider. He mentioned you. -looks down, glaring slightly- That... -grits his jaw, not liking the mention of the other man who he felt had used him-
Seruna: *stays frozen in place, casting her eyes downward and clacking her jaws together a few times* Ah, Raider.... Yes.... He uhhh..... He was the man I.... Is it true he has a mate now....? I-I mean if you don't mind me asking..... *slowly hunkers down*
Exabyte: ... -paws dig somewhat into the ground, his ears pinning once more, tail moving to curl around his own body instead- ... Yes... From what I have been told.. -takes a deep breath- With some female whom he... never mentioned.. -stands- Ziva... I don't feel like teaching you today. My apologies.
Seruna: Oh.... Yes.... Sometimes.... That happens.... *slowly removes her paw from the ground, reaching out to touch Exabyte gently* I'm sorry.... I did not mean.... I did not know this would upset you. Is there anything I can do to make it better....? *gulps, her paw slightly shaky and eyes a little sad as well* Please.... Don't take my foolish words out on the young one.
Ziva: [>C Did this stupid female make you upset? I'll beat her up! Please, don't gooooo! I mean ummm....] *flails her chopsticks a little, not wanting to beg*
Exabyte: -shakes his head some, staring at the ground- ... Nirav: *slithers his way up to the pair, nodding his head to Seruna and slowly picking up Ziva, attempting his creepy smile* Thank you..... I can take her now.... You have the rest of the day to yourself.... *wiggles away in his own weird way*
Seruna: *watches quietly, her eyes looking down, tail flicking before she looks back, turning around and slowly making her way back to the shop, not really knowing what to do, but feeling compelled to help the poor boy* ..... > < *slowly peers through the doorway, clacking her jaws together before speaking* I.... I am sorry to interrupt.... I know it's not my place to.... But.... I'm stubborn..... And I feel you need some company..... When you're so upset.... *hunkers down slightly, staying in the doorway*

Seruna: *watches his reaction carefully, her usual carefree and outgoing personality slightly broken as she makes her way inside, sitting herself in front of him quietly before she hunkers down, trying to see at his level despite her huge size* People.... Well, Raider didn't seem to have any idea really of what is socially acceptable.... Not that it's an excuse but.... It seems he may have manipulated many people in this equation without meaning to.... So for you to be upset.... I understand.... Sometimes we meet people and thing they're the one for us.... Seruna: *opens her large wings and gently touches one to his back, smiling a little* Sometimes there is no logic for what we do. We act on things we do not understand. Things happen we can't control or wish hadn't happened at all. Such is life. Such is ignorance. Such is the world. But sometimes those mistakes make us better or cause something good to happen, you see?

Seruna: *allows her wings to move back into place on her back, tail flicking as she blinks up at him, not bothering to move from her crouched position* What do you mean?
Exabyte: everyone feels better after they have spoken about what hurts them... -blinks, before he tilts his head some- Do you?
Seruna: Oh.... I suppose.... I've just never been one to talk about my feelings unless they are vitally important.... What would you like to know about? *clacks her jaws again, spreading her wings out over the floor*
Exabyte: -watches her quietly, before shaking his head some, and lowers it- Just... anything you would like to talk about... I ranted to you, it seems only fair.
Seruna: *smiles softly, her eyes clothing some as she breathes out through her nostrils, blowing some dust up from the floor* I suppose.... Well, let me just say that I am quite new here.... And.... Well.... Aside from Ishme.... Raider was the first I met.... I felt a connection with him..... Agreed to help him with his future and figure things out..... And then.... All this happened.... So now.... On top of my.... Forgot past.... I just don't have anything stable to lean on....
Exabyte: -blinks slightly, before he shifts slightly and leans, tilting his head to face her- You can rely on me, if you like.... I assure you, I'm not interested in anyone, and if you ever need help, then I will assist you in whatever way I can. AI's seem to be very trusting, and I'm one of them. -slight smile-
Seruna: *listens quietly, a smile playing at her lips* That's kind of you.... But you do not have to be unattached to be a friend to me, you know. I just prefer the people in my life not to have lied to me or manipulated me. *laughs lightly* But thank you anyways.... I would very much appreciate someone there.... Especially when..... Exabyte: -blinks some and smiles lightly, before nodding his head, his wings folding against his back, and lets himself relax as best as he can- Yes... Agreed. And I assure you...
