• Weight :: 155 lbs.
• Hair Color/Style :: Dirty blonde and usually fairly scraggily. He's bad about upkeep and tends to either have bed head or spikes it a bit with gel.
• Eye Color/Style :: Sea green with golden flecks.
• Birthdate :: October 27th
• Attire :: He doesn't put much thought into the way he dresses, which can clearly be seen in days when his clothing is all kinds of mismatched and clashing. Usually, he just tosses on a pair of jeans, a t-shirt, and a button up, if he remembers to actually iron once in a while. Winter months, he'll usually don a dark colored jacket and a green and silver striped scarf. The ever constant, however, are his square-rimmed glasses.
• Hometown :: Terracotta Town, Kanto
• Current Residence :: Katarina, Zatao, though he plans on leaving for something a bit more quiet as soon as he can get settled into the region.
• Occupation :: Healer
• Hobby :: Breeding (Rattata)
• Pokemon Specialty :: Nothing in particular, bar his Rattatas.
• Rooming :: Small, makeshift apartment complex, room 7C at the Whispering Pidgeot. He doesn't plan on staying long.
• Personality :: Daniel is a nice fellow, if a bit forgetful. He usually comes off as quirky and a bit happy-go-lucky. He's actually quite pessimistic at times, but he fights to throw up a facade that appears exactly the opposite. He tends to take that pessimism home, however, which eventually led to the problems he is wading through at the moment. He's hard working and almost loyal to a fault, going so far as to remain faithful to those who have hurt him in the past, even if he knows he shouldn't. He doesn't like to see others, this including both pokemon and people, in pain and chose his profession based on that. He likes to make things better and takes a great deal of pride in his work, even if he isn't currently the best healer on the block. His true passion, however, is breeding. Rattatas, in particular.
• Trivia ::
+ Although born to a coastal town, he is absolutely awful at swimming.
+ Daniel is absolutely awful at remembering faces and, until he can memorize the features of his acquaintances, tends to remember people by hair and voices. Names, however, are no problem for him.
+ Jigglypuff, Igglybuff, Chansey, and Woobat seriously creep him out for some unknown reason.
+ In his forgetfulness, he sometimes forgets to eat, especially if he has a great deal going on at the moment.
+ He had a pretty decent lot of Rattata, including his beloved Ratter, a shiny rattata he'd had for many years, before he moved. His ex-wife-to-be currently has the lot of them, which has him worried.
+ Almost always has a book or two in his satchel.
+ Enjoys sketching wild pokemon.
• History :: Daniel Townsend was brought into the world twenty-seven years ago, blessed to Molly and Jack Townsend on the fringes of Terracotta Town, in Kanto. His childhood, much like his adult life, was remarkably uneventful. His mother worked in a clinic in town and it was expected he would follow in her footsteps, and he did with no hassle. He actually firmly loves his chosen profession and feels as though he can make a real contribution to the world in doing such. He became a bit obsessive with rattata, especially after his father died. He left behind his show rattata and Daniel was quick to try and preserve his father's memory through that particular line. The original rattata has long since died, but her offspring are alive and thriving, even if he had to leave for Zatao without them. During his travel, he continues to battle his soon to be ex-wife for custody of his prized lot of breeding rattata.
Speaking of his wife, the pair began courting shortly after Daniel finished studying for his position in the clinic and the two hit it off. They were friends for quite some time while both were learning, but things became sour after Daniel's father died and his rattata obsession became more apparent. They drove her up the walls, getting into anything and everything, and he defended them with a vigor. He refused to get rid of them and it's beyond him why she would insist on getting custody of the creatures, unless she planned on selling them when things were finalized.
• Current Goal(s) :: Grow as a Healer and hopefully regain custody of his lost rattatas, or at least Ratter. If not, start a new line.
