xoxoAlastair spent his childhood living to the beat of his own drum. As the son of a pretty high end family, the boy was allowed to live a pretty lax life. Of course his studies always took priority in his parent's eye, but they never really forced learning onto him. Though really that was just a way of giving up. Unfortunately this young boy was just to out there to teach. Which may be the reason why hes not very intelligent as of late. Though none of that matters when hes secluded in his own little world doing his own thing.
xoxoGrowing up Alt, as his friends called him, had always been the talk of the town so to say. Everyone knew of his strangeness and others of his money. Though he never made enemies. He always had a friend in school and was often quite popular. However, it's not like he ever knew. Thanks to a certain cousin spouting off about the fact that the boy always had his head in the clouds, he gained a super fascination with the sky. A very unhealthy obsession, but it's not the worst scenario to be in. It's just that instead of studying and working, Alt can be found lazing about outside with his eyes fixed upward. Everything in the 'real' world is to dull for the out of this world boy. Yet, he still makes sure to keep his feet firmly planted on the ground. Of course it's not to often you see him in a normal person's state of mind
xoxoNow that his cousin has started a life of his own (he always had been on Nirvani, but now that Alt has been kicked out indefinitely) the boy, now a man, has begun his new life as well. Eloping and having a child with his only friend on the island, Kotone, Alt is back living on Nirvani right near his hard working cousin. And what is he doing with his life as of late? Well during college the boy was scouted out during a school function and was brought into the glamorous world of movies. Now a young hit actor, Alastair is entering a new stage of his life as a B-list star as well as a father and husband. Of course with him always away on shoots, its up to Reed (in his mind) to help out. Alastair might have grown up and started a mature life, but he is far from an adult. But, he is at least trying his best to not screw up.

History: Kotone always worked hard to maintain a fierce competition with her mellow older sister, which meant that they argued and fought and disagreed more than they got along, but that was just how she liked it. Her relationship with their parents was much worse than their relationship with Shinju, so her upbringing was much different. The two were complete opposites; Shinju was tall, Kotone was short, Shinju was quiet and gentle, Kotone was loud and self-centered, Shinju was near-sighted, Kotone was far-sighted, Shinju was right-handed, Kotone was left-handed... The list went on. Needless to say, she was relieved when her sister moved away, but when their parents died two years later she found herself in the care of the one person she hates the most. The two butt heads continuously, their relationship only strained by bad luck. Because she's an idiot, she's managed to be taken advantage of a remarkable number of times since moving out here. But she's too stupid to care, or notice. Of course, it did lead her to Zachery, who not only took her virginity, but also knocked her up, when she was only fourteen. Despite being a teenage mother with a sister obviously busting her a** to provide for them, she spent much of that time being generally useless. It wasn't until she met Alt that her life started to turn around.
Maybe it was age, maybe it was seeing Peter grow up, maybe it was the fact that her sister kept on getting kidnapped and she was forced to care for her son by herself, but by the end of her teens, Kotone had learned to appreciate the things around her. Mainly, Alt, the odd boy she had met on chance one day after school. She quickly began to consider him her only true friend, despite having previously indulged in the delusion that she and Alanis were BFF's. Over the year or so of their friendship, she became quite fond of him. So when her sister all of a sudden got married to the mayor's brother, Kotone was both irritated and jealous. Why couldn't SHE get married to the rich guy living in the giant mansion? And so, partly to spite her sister, partly to save herself from insecurity regarding her future, she proposed to Alt. Surprisingly, he consented, and the two got married. Shortly after -- perhaps a little too soon for Kotone's liking -- Skyla joined them, and the odd little family was completed. Kotone may not live in a mansion, but she's quite content as a housewife, since she can have the TV on all day and no one will look at her badly because of it.
Kotone has always been attention-hungry and, even now, dreams of becoming a famous singer. Alt's career as an actor hasn't eased that at all. Despite all of these years, she's not sure if she should be proud of him or jealous.
She's pretty damn stupid and incredibly immature. She's unrealistic and gullible. However, she's actually kind of good at math, reads a lot, and has taught herself how to play the keyboard, drums, and guitar (of course, she's forgotten it all). Her parents and extended family were always very musically inclined, and she took it a step further. She played percussion back in junior high. Sure, she's not particularly talented at any of it and still can't read music, but at least she tried.
She has an imaginary friend, a unicorn named Frederick. It's Frederick who tempted Kotone into sleeping with Zach, the father of Peter, and ever since, he's done nothing but tell her what a whore she is. Still, she respects him. Now that she's an adult, she doesn't talk to him very much, but she does make sure to tell her children lots of stories about the imaginary unicorn.

About: Peter is the son of Kotone, born when she was only fifteen years old. He developed to be a surprisingly normal child, despite an idiot of a mother and a strict, workaholic aunt. His childhood was not average by any means; when his aunt was around, he enjoyed a nice, relaxing time with his family. But when she caught the interest of the mayor's brother, she would disappear for a few days at a time every once in a while, which would leave him in the sole care of his mother. Those days weren't quite as much fun, as they ate nothing but junk food (though he didn't have to take a bath).
Things weren't too bad. He had his friends, Wilhelm and Muse, who were easily two of his favorite people, right under his mother and aunt. Of course, Muse disappeared from his life pretty early on, so he barely remembers her, only when prolonged exposure to the Sonata's causes some PTSD-esque flashbacks to spending the day playing with her. His friendship with Wilhelm is still going strong. When he was four, he found himself with a step-father, and subsequently, a little sister. He settled into a more normal family nicely. Of course, he struggled to view his mother and step-father as any sort of real, responsible adults, and so he turned to Reed, a relative of Alt's and the father of his good friend Erika, as his father figure. He spends a good amount of time with the Page's, enjoying being around so many people. But this isn't to say he's completely independent from his parents. He has, unfortunately, inherited his mother's gullibleness, and has picked up an appreciation for the sky from Alt.

xoxoLittle Skyla is the child you would expect to come from parents like Alt and Kotone. Absolutely adorable, quirky and lovable... If only that were true. This little girl is far from the beaten trail. Hell, she's in a whole other universe compared to the rest of the world. Spending most of her time playing with her imaginary friend, Dolce the candy cloud, Skyla is far from what you would considered normal. Like her father and mother, the girl has a very low understanding of everything and has a hard time learning, mostly because shes more interested in looking at the sky than at a book. And if she's not worshiping the sky like her father, shes clingy to her second cousin Brooke who she oh so adores more than anyone else in the world. Skyla might be just like her parents, but don't expect her to be on the same level. This small girl in in a league of her own.
