~Tomato Festival~

Location: Town Square
Date: Summer 3rd
Time: 10am - 5pm

The day of the year to celebrate the most confusing crop ever! Is it a vegetable? Is it a fruit? We don't know and this anger us! What do we do when we are angry because of tomatoes? We trow them at random people, of course! Make a team of three people and make your way to the townsquare where you'll have to fight for your live (and clean clothes) using tomatoes. The last team with at least one member not hit will be victorious! (By the way, it's a fruit.)

Past Winners:
Year 1

1. Three members maximum per team.

2. Every team should come with a 'name', this can be as simple as a color or as extravagent as you want!

3. Every team will get a total of thirty tomatoes to begin with, which can be divided among the members to a team's own discretion.

4. Whenever a character is hit, they aren't allowed to participate anymore. Which means they have to go to the sidelines and wait for the festival to be over. They can still cheer on their team member, since if the team they were part of wins, they still win!

5. When a tomato is thrown, two dice should be rolled by the character being thrown, for aim and power, and the character in the line of fire, for luck and dodge. The character who rolls the higher number 'wins' and either has dodged or managed to hit another character.

6. In the event of both characters getting the same number, the one rolling the larger set of dice wins by default. If both rolled the same set of dice, then the tomato misses.

7. Someone may be better at dodging than at throwing and vice versa! Becreative people!

8. If you can, we encourage teaming up with characters that aren't played by you! Be a good player!

9. There's a limit of 30 tomatoes per team, split to the discretion of the participants. You NEED to keep track of them. You will have to get more tomatoes once you run out, making you more susceptible to get hit.

10. Everyone should wait until everybody else had thrown a tomato before throwing another one. However, you can dodge as often as required.

11. You can add a 'Bonus' either positive, of negative, to your roll, depending on the situation, but please, be reasonable about it. Also, every positive bonus will cost you 1 tomato.

12. If more than one tomato is being thrown at you at the same time, meaning the same round, it is expected that you add a negative 1 for each extra tomato. (first tomato is normal, dodging the second is -1, dodging the third is -2, etc). You must dodge EVERY TOMATO ONE BY ONE. So if you have 6 tomatoes coming to you, you need to dodge 6 times, adding -1 for each extra dodge (meaning -5 by the end).

13. To make it fair so everyone get to throw a tomato before being eliminated (and because we all are in different time zones), be sure to have your character throw a tomato before the dodging one.

TOMATO FESTIVAL
YEAR 16

The Tomato festival. Truth to be told, this was probably Yoakim’s favourite festival of all. Sure, it was quite messy and took a lot of time to clean at the end, but, as the manly man he was, seeing people run around, throwing tomatoes at each other, hurting each other, being all sportsy together, just made him happy. It was like watching a game on TV! Sure, he would much prefer to be in the festival, he was a pretty good throw, but watching and judging from the side line wasn’t all that bad either. In fact, it sort of give him a slight superiority complex, to be able to judge on them peasants like a God deciding their fate! … Oh dear, he started to sound like a Sonata now… He shook his head rapidly, trying to push away any other thoughts he could have that were of that same line of ideas and resumed directing the preparation of the festivals. Almost everything was done, not that there was much to set. Only a barrel of tomato here and there, some tables around the square and, of course, the registration booth. He should probably be going there right now to take any registrations, but he preferred to make sure that everything was in order first. Contestants could always wait ten minutes before signing up.

But of course, not everyone needed to sign up the very same day of the festival. Residents of the island could always sign themselves up, up to a week before the festival was actually held. While, in theory, this seemed like a good idea to make it easier for everyone and take an educated guess as to how many tomatoes they would need, in reality, it had some major minor inonviniants… Well, it depending for who. For Wilhelm, who was arriving at the town square running, while dragging Peter behing him, it was awesome! For Peter, it was less good, mainly because he never had a voice in that matter. Wilhelm had simply signed him up without telling him, as well as Erika to have a full team… and because both John and Quentin had refused to join with him for a reason or another. Peter and John in a team with him? HOW AWESOME WOULD THAT HAVE BEEN? Oh well, Erika would have to do for now. She probably was a good thrower anyway. Better than Peter… NOT THAT IT MATTER. The goal of this festival was to spend time with Peter his friends, not win, after all. ”COME ON PETER! Show more enthusiasm! You’ll love it! I’m sure of it! I mean, YOU GET TO THROW TOMATOES AT PEOPLE! HOW AWESOME IS THAT?” Peter should show more energy! Sometimes, he just was too passive! Not that it mattered, Wilhelm would just have to make a man out of him!

Another person who had been signed in without his permeation was Quentin. It wasn’t that he didn’t like the festival, or hated it or was awefull at sport, in fact, he was pretty good at them, he just didn’t give a damn about it all! He had never really understood the point of it all other than to give Eet a free meal… Yet, here he was now after being singed in by Alanis who was threatening to not let them inside the library ever again if they didn’t show up. Not only had she signed him, Morgan and Ed, but she had signed them up under the most ridiculous name ever! Team Adonis? Really? Just what was his aunt thinking…. Oh, who was he kidding. He knew perfectly what she was thinking! She was using them as publicity for the library and to fuel her own twisted fantasies! He knew her well enough to figure that out! Well… that and the fact that the library’s wall were plastered with picture of them three with ”Come watch the Library’s Adonis sweat and get wet at the Tomato Festival!” written on them. He sight at all that and choose to sat down at one of the table and to just read a book until it was time to go.

Strangely enough, however, those posters DID attract some people! People like Popcorn who just couldn’t miss a change to see some hot young boys getting all wet from tomatoes and, hopefully, start making out while covered in all that goo. Oh yes, she wanted to see that, which was why she had convinced Finian as well as his gay sidekick Avien to team up with her! With luck, they would join the Adonis and it would turn out into a large gay orgy! Oh dear, he fantasy since she was 13 coming true! All those mental images surely were the reasons as to why she had one of the largest grin ever plastered on her face as she walked on the festival’s ground with Finian and Avien. Thank god they had been easy to convince! All she had to do was to drop a hint that it was a trial of heroes, needing to defend a poor defenceless maiden (her) while being attacked by tomatoes! Sometimes, they really were too easy to manipulate… Like she would complain! ”Sooooo Fiiiniaaaaan? You’re sure it’s the right idea to come ALL THE WAY HERE? I mean… isn’t that a TRIAL OF CHAMPIONS? If you don’t feel up to the task, we can go back home.” Well, she shouldn’t let him know that she was aware of his alterego as… whatever his name was. In her fantasies, it always was YaoiMan, Chickenboy and BeastBreastGirl, she had never stopped to actually ask their real hero names.

Oh, also, Maxine is standing behind the booth. She liked booth. They were….boothy.

For years, Peter had heard of the Tomato Festival, but had never seen it in person. He hadn't seen a lot of festivals, actually, but this was one of the ones his mother had sworn she would never go to -- messy, too messy, plus there was nothing Kotone dreaded more than exercise. And for some reason, he had never thought to just go anyway -- not until Wilhelm suddenly announced that they'd be participating together. Was Peter good at athletic things? He had no idea, he hadn't done enough to tell. And today he'd finally find out. That's why, as Wilhelm dragged him into the town square, Peter looked around with a vague smile. "Wow, so they actually use tomatoes..." To think, they used tomatoes at a tomato fight! What a novel idea! "We're on a team together, right, Will? What happens if we win? Do we get a trophy?" he asked, choosing to just ignore Wilhelm's excited cries. They had been friends forever, it was just easier if he imagined that he was speaking in a normal tone, instead of the hyper one he usually used. Besides, he was much more interested in the possibility of winning. He had never won anything before...!

---

Unfortunately for Peter, winning wouldn't be that easy. Because a champion had just arrived! River Park, age thirty-six, had won the Tomato Festival once, twice... so many times she couldn't even remember! It had quickly become her favorite festival. So much, in fact, that she had made it a Park family tradition! Her days of playing with Elliot were long over, unfortunately, but she had found a nice replacement for her sister -- her wife and kid! She had been trying to include Jeremy in the Tomato Festival since he could walk (albeit barely). But now! Now he was perfectly capable of holding his head up by himself, walking with little chance of him toppling over, and she had been working on his throwing skills -- they were subpar at best. Still, she was excited, and as she led her team onto the 'field', she grabbed Jeremy by his shoulders and dropped down into a crouch.

"Jeremy, remember, the important thing is to have fun. If you get hit, that's okay. Mom will beat them all," she reassured the little redhaired boy.

Jeremy stared at his mother blankly for a moment before nodding. "Beat them all," he repeated. River beamed back at him and let go, leaving him to go over and cling to Zhi. He was just glad that he was on the same team as River. He still had bruises from their dodging practices.

---

...How did she end up here again? If Yuri had had her way, she never would make an appearance at the Tomato Festival as long as she was under control. Unfortunately for her, she wasn't really. June had asked her, and... well, she had trouble saying no when he asked favors of her. Worst of all, he was probably well aware of that fact, and was doing it on purpose. And that was why she was standing awkwardly at the Tomato Festival yet again, wearing a pair of clothes that made her skin crawl, just praying that maybe she'd black out and not have to do this. This was not her kind of festival. The running, the mess, the getting used as a human shield... (She'd never forget that.) She was much better suited for Beach Day or New Year's. Where were the swimsuits, or the parties? This tomato thing... It was a black spot on the calendar.

Riley was tired. He'd just purchased Uncharted 3 and was up the better part of the night. Well, save the thirty-minute power nap he got before Todd shook him awake about five minutes before the present time. So, he was wearing what Tatyana liked to call his douche glasses she said it made him feel all superior, or something. Which was understandable since he always felt like that. She was so stupid sometimes. But, that didn't matter. Tatyana stayed home this year, some kind of complaint about stinking forever afterwards. The question now was, where in the world was his partner? Well, Keith's partner. Which meant that he was looking for Conor. Who was not paired with Keith for this event, but himself. Which was Riley. Which meant that Riley was looking for Conor and could not find him anywhere. He could have slept longer! This was such bull crap.

____________________________________________

Zelynity was wearing her kicking a** outfit. Which meant that her hair was up in a high ponytail; she was wearing spandex short shorts, sweatbands on her head and wrists, knee pads, a tank top, and war paint. Yes, she was very into it, to say the least. Perhaps it was her whole I ******** hate my life because I've never won anything kicking in again, but Raiden decided he didn't want to be paired with her. Well, it could be the fact that Haruka didn't want to go and they had the house alone... but, that was the least of her worries right now. She was walking on her tiptoes around the edge of the area, trying to go unnoticed and check out the competition. Surely she'd win this time, surely.

____________________________________________

Morgan was creeping ever so slowly into the designated tomato area. Why, you may ask? Well, because he was terrified of tomatoes. All he really knew was that they may be flying at some point. He didn't know why or how, just that there was a chance that he could be hit. He'd never had any invite to come to this particular festival and he tried to stay away from things that shared a name with things he feared. But, Quentin and Ed and himself(aka the library crew) were forced by none other than the nice library lady to join some team, and he couldn't turn down the offer because she refused to let them ever come back if he didn't. So, here he was; with a giant clear poncho covering him head to toe and a trash bag with the mouth and eyes cut open on top of that. He couldn't let his face get hit, after all. He spotted Quentin through the small eye hole and began walking that way, crinkling with every step. "Hey, Quentin! I can't hear so well! Forgot ear holes! But, I just wanted you to know that it's me, Morgan! I'm not some weird plastic monster here to bag your groceries then run with them! I PROMISE!" He smiled wide, and it then dawned on him that no one could see his big smile. That made him frown.

The Tomato Festival? Now it wasn't exactly Reed's favorite festival, but he far from hated it. Something about letting all the aggression piled up through a friendly competition made him look forward to it this year. Lately he had been a little on edge thanks to Erika's less than stellar school performance. It was irritating, however he knew there was nothing to be done. And that's why this father needed a little outlet for his anger, you know, for closure. Which is why this year he would be attending the festival once again. He had come with Blaire and Erika two or three times before, but this was his first with Brooke. The father would have loved to have both daughter's on his team, though Erika had ended up on Wil and Peter's team. So this year was him, his wife, and his youngest, who had just arrived to the festival grounds. Reed let his eyes wander the area, looking at person to person, NPC to NPC, again it was surprising. "There's new faces every year," He spoke to Blaire as his eyes made there way back to his family. This island was constantly changing. Sometimes it really was just to hard to keep up with. Reed then put on a positive grin and looked down at Brooke, "Though it's nothing we can't handle." Of course they probably wouldn't win. But, there was no point in joining a competition and not trying to win!

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Arriving along with her family, Erika was already ready to leave. Sure, the girl was up for having fun with her friends, but really? The tomato festival? This place was the pits. She remembered when her father brought her to the festival for 'family bonding', most of the time it ended in tears for the girl. She hated everything about it, the noise, the people, the work, the sweat, and most importantly, the tomatoes. This was a festival for barbarians! And if it wasn't for the fact that Wilhelm had already signed her up, she wouldn't have been caught dead here. Speaking of which, once she had found her partners, she promptly joined them. Of course she walked up to them with a huff, entering around Peter's question, "All we get is a bunch of tomato goop all over us!" Erika cringed at the thought of having to wash her hair and body of that smell, it made her shiver. Though focusing on the problem at hand, the girl stomped her foot and faced Wilhelm. "Gez Wil!" She huffed angrily, then crossed her arms at him, "Why'd you have to sign me up for this dumb competition? I hate getting dirty." She was fine with all the running and goofing around for the most part. By why did she have to bare with being pummeled by filthy fruits? Or vegetables? Or whatever!

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Ray has yet to arrive.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Well of course Mr. June King would be part of the festival this year. Hell, he hadn't missed a single tomato festival since he moved to the island. Still clinging to the dream of winning. Unfortunately for him, once again River Park had shown up. The one woman who stands in his way every time (though most of the time he doesn't even get the chance to face her). But, this year would be different! June didn't know how, but it would be. That's why he walked onto the grounds with confidence. And without much difficulty, he found his faithful teammate already waiting for him. "Your early as always, Yuri" He spoke walking up behind her. He looked around, already spotting his targets for this year. Of course, River among them. Looks like this year would prove to be a challenge. And why shouldn't it be? Where's the fun in an easy win? There's a since of satisfaction in winning a tough fight. Although, the blonde wouldn't know that feeling. But, that was irrelevant. But, back to his partner. June grabbed her shoulders before she could turn to face him, squeezing them like he was going to give some pep talk. He wasn't, "You better not screw up."

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

If June and Yuri were part of a team, you bet your a** Mac was there third. No way was he going to let that girl score some brownie points while he was away! Unfortunately, he wasn't in the best condition. Really, why the hell did he decide to binge drink the night before the competition? But those NPC's at the bar were cuties... "Ahh..." escaped the man's lips as he sank into a bench, Sunglasses covering his lifeless eyes. This was one hell of a hangover... If June found out... Maverick didn't even want to think about it. That's why he was going to kill anyone who tried to win, even if he had the worst headache of his life. Well, maybe not kill, his friends probably wouldn't like that. However, he wasn't going to play nice. Although really, the redhead really just wished that the day was over already. Maybe a tornado would come down and take the tomatoes away? Man would that be great. Mac sighed, sinking even lower, his eyes rising to the sun. Who's bright idea was it to make something so bright? Has the goddess even ever had a hangover? Obviously not, or she wouldn't have made the sun so ******** bright.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Arriving along side the circus duo, was the visually displeased, yet bubbling on the inside Avian. The chicken lover had taking some time out of his day on request of Popcorn to enjoy the festival. And of course, to prove himself a proper 'hero'. Of course he couldn't let the girl know though! It was a secret... Nonetheless, the man was excited. He walked a little behind the two, looking around as they walked. Maybe he'd spot something cool along his way? In his right hand was his trusty microphone, now a little bit old.
"Why ------ ho----?" Avi tried speaking through the microphone. Unfortunately the circuits were starting to fry, making it work a little bit less. And once he realized it didn't work, his arm went limp and he just looked at the two with a blank expression. "Why go home?" He repeated almost mechanically. However, a second later and his voice resumed it's upbeat nature. "Today's gonna' be all kinds of fun!" The man liked fun events. Especially sport type ones. He was never one for thinking after all. So a festival where he could just run around and play, now that was perfect.

Ah, another beautiful day in the lives of RingerMan and his trusty – no, wait. Scratch that. WonderMan! Yes, that sounded better~ Or maybe The Ring Master? ...No, then it would be obvious who he was! Ah, Finnian, Finnian! He really needed to settle on his alter-ego's name. So far, he had just been calling him 'Alter Ego'.. ...maybe..? No, that was silly! Not to mention, he was pretty sure 'alter ego' was taken by some other hero or another.. Or maybe not? Still, the fact remained – ah. Finnian looked to his adorable, starry-eyed friend as she spoke, his attention from his own inner turmoil over his identity (angst! Ah, such superhero behavior!) towards the girl instead. Yes, the trial of heroes! The day he proves to the town of Nirvani that only he has the right to defend them all! Sure, him winning as Finnian, the regular tie-wearing, hard-working circus manager, would probably alert all his enemies as to his true identity, but it was a risk he would have to take! As his green-haired companion, Avian, new all too well! He grinned as he watched the man answer for him, the expression faltering as Avian's trusty companion, Microphonaplus, did. He looked worried for a moment – it really was a pity the only mechanic he knew of was the cruel and disastrous Dr. Smutrella.. “Indeed! My completely normal and not heroic in the least companion is correct.” He said with an enthusiastic nod to cover up Avian's newest weakness. How long they would last without Microphonaplus's super-boost to Avian's poultry-related powers, he would never know, but, for now, they would be fine. ..He hoped.

Zhi followed her ♥ wife ♥ into the town square, watching her tend to their little bundle of redheaded joy with such skill it still caught her off guard. She remembered the initial panic attacks that had followed when Jeremy had sprout his first red hair~ She was just thankful the boy had waited a few weeks before that – imagine the horrors her uncle would have had to put up with if he had been born with it all! She shook her head somewhat to shake away such worried thoughts, focusing more on how blissful it was to be having a friendly, happy, and totally normal family outing! She loved the tomato festival most of all with her honey, if only because she got to see the woman in action! Nothing got her heart racing more than watching River smack down several grown men with a handful of fruity vegetables – or vegetably fruits~ She set a hand on Jeremy's head as the boy went to cling to Zhi next, “Don't worry, Jeremy – mommy will beat everyone into red pulps~ All for us! You won't be touched at all~” She assured with a soft sigh – oh, River~ “Just last year, she sent three men to the hospital for concussions, all to protect us – do you remember, Jeremy?” She added nostalgically, another happy sigh escaping – oh, why couldn't it start already?!

~ ~ ~ ~ ~

Probably harder than anything he had done that day, Ed had managed to get Vi to stay at home and play with her dolls. It wasn't the convincing her part that was difficult, really – Vi was only ten. He could talk circles around her all day long if he wanted to – which he did, but, that was beside the point. No, no, it was avoiding all the beverages she offered him with that sugary sweet smile, knowing full well that they were probably a spoonful of milk and night-time Tylenol again. He didn't know where she had learned to drug people like that, but he couldn't stop it anymore than he could stop the sun from setting or whatever. Getting her to be quiet while he left so as not to disturb dad and not drink a full cup of the stuff was a challenge within itself – but he had managed it. So, here he was, pouring the water bottle his sister had prepared for him out onto some poor plant with a tired and bored look. Once the last few drops of the syrupy liquid had drizzled onto the dirt, Ed discarded the bottle beside it and walked off to find his friend and get this – ..Oh. He frowned – well. Morgan seemed to be well prepared for this. Although.. “If any juice gets into those holes, you could get a rash from the citric acid. Goggles, gloves, and a flu mask would have made that better.” Which was really the only reason why Ed could see him being afraid of this festival. Tomatoes didn't have much, but if he was allergic, then, well. May as well tell him why he was going to fail avoiding failure this time. He stood beside Morgan, ignoring Quentin because Quentin was busy reading his book. Why should he bother him?

~ ~ ~ ~ ~

With her family in tow, Romane entered the town square to participate in perhaps the most silly, pointless, and needless display ever during the entire year. Yet, she found herself on a team each year for whatever reason. Before she knew it, she had found it to be a tradition. It proved herself superior to all the other townspeople and, not only that, she was on a team with her family – ah.. well, part of it. Originally, Julian was meant to be part of it with Mimi on the sidelines, but the boy had decided to team up with one of his friends instead. She frowned at it – with Miah Bernadetto, of all people. The little girl was a deviant in the making and if Julian continued with his interest towards her.. Romane would just have to keep Mimi on watch. She trusted her daughter to do well, after all. “I do not see Julian.” She commented with a scan of the area, frowning as was the little girl beside her, Mimi Murrow.

Her green eyes were narrowed in a disgruntled fashion for several reasons. One, her friends were off in their own teams before she could even ask! Stupid family time shouldn't be an excuse to say no to her! ..Maybe it was, but, still, Jeremy never said no! It wasn't fair! Then there was Miah.. pairing up with her brother! She frowned further – why was Julian getting with her friend?! She hadn't minded them having friends before, but, well, mom had said she could play with her gun to make up for Julian having her spot on the family team and she had been really, really, really excited about it! But, nooo, Julian wanted to play with her friend instead! “..Julian's probably at Miah's house getting ready.” She spoke up, knowing that her mom didn't like Julian being over at her house for whatever reason. Probably had to do with all the big people drinks, naked women, and slot machines just downstairs. ..Slot machines that Mimi was actually pretty good at! She brightened up in a second and grabbed onto her dad's pants next, tugging at them eagerly as she continued on in shouts. “Can I get him? I know where to get him – I'll get him! Let me get him!” Mom would say no, she knew, but dad wasn't as stubborn! So, he was the best person to ask!

~ ~ ~ ~ ~

This was going to be fun! John stood at the beginning of town square, practically squirming in excitement~ This festival was always really fun! It was like.. like fun! John didn't know how to describe it, but he was just happy knowing that he got to play with his siblings like they did when they were kids! Sure, Quentin was on another team, and, yeah, he often screwed up anyway through his existence – how he managed that, he wasn't sure, but he knew well enough than to question his dad's reasons. It wasn't like John knew anything anyway – he just knew that this festival was probably going to be fun! But, he wasn't allowed to enjoy hitting people with tomatoes.. It seemed mean. But, then, everyone else was hitting others with tomatoes, so it should be okay..? Right? Maybe? He wasn't sure and probably would never be, but he kept up a smile anyway as he waited for Eet to come~ He knew his.. pet.. or family.. family pet? Something. But he had to arrive! Because Eet loved the tomatoes at the tomato festival!

~ ~ ~ ~ ~

After an annoying argument with Keith, Conor had arrived alone. Without Keith. He was still frowning in agitation at the thought; sure, he was used to not having Keith with him constantly, but why Keith had to be such a ******** d**k about Riley baffled him. He shook his head to get past that and focus on the here and now – the game! Conor never stayed in this game for long despite how amped up he was every year to participate – he guessed it had to do with a majority of the town hating his guts. Oh, well, he couldn't complain much. He didn't care, to be honest, because it just meant he got to weed out the boring, annoying people with his attitude to leave the fun guys – like Riley! Ha, he loved Riley~ ..Not in that way. But, he was still happy to see the kid when he spotted him wearing the gayest looking sunglasses he had ever seen. He stopped beside him with a smirk – oh, yes, he was going to comment. “Dude, did you steal Tatyana's s**t or something before coming?” He asked with a motion to his sunglasses – seriously. Riley could be such a trip.

-Blaire Page, Brooke Page, Julian Parker, Miah Bernadetto, Eet Alvey-LeBlanc, & Leon Kidd-

Blaire had to say, she was looking forward to this festival. It seemed the Tomato Festival wasn't a favorite back at the home. Well sure Reed would do it, and Brooke was the same, but that didn't mean they'd sign up every year like she'd do. Granted she never won... they could blame River for that... However this year there might be some hope! Her husband was with her, as well as Brooke. Not only that, Reed was fired up and this would probably provide the perfect outlet. To this day though, Blaire wouldn't understand why the man had so much trouble understanding Erika's school woes. A parent's blind pride gone bad? Probably... She nodded to her husband's words as she looked around. This little island had gotten pretty populated in these last years. This years was no exception. But it was a good thing too, it kept things alive and interesting. Though her family certainly didn't need them to keep interesting. "I'll go sign us up" said the woman before heading off to get their team official signed in. Since... she had forgotten to do so ahead of time.

"Yeah!" Unlikely? Oh very much so, but Brooke right now wasn't thinking about that. She was just pretty happy with the chance to be out with her father. Erika, even at her age seemed to hog him too much... one of the many reasons they were always at odds. So to hear that Erika was on a team with her friends, well that made her quite happy. Especially since this meant she could throw tomatoes at Erika. It made her forget about the unpleasant thought of getting hit by tomatoes, which meant losing. She'd get to that when it started, but for now, she kept close to her father as her mother went off to sign them up.

Coming into the square was a likely due that had been playing the last four years. It was probably during one of these festivals that the two realized they needed each other. That they... were best friends... Or that would've been an ideal sentiment but the truth of the matter was Miah realizing how much of a whiner Julian was when he had been a victim of one of Lotte's tomato flingers. Oh friendships... how they blossom~ Today however they were a little late, but Julian could blame the girl for taking so long in deciding what shoes to put on... Girls... "We need to win this time. Period." "...You need a life..." Miah smiled however, knowing how much the boy needed to get out of the family team. Even seven years old that was sad... and slightly wrong. All right, very wrong.

John was right about that. If there was one person Eet tended to show up for, it was John. Whether it was because Eet had accepted it's fate as a pet long ago or not was never clarified. Still Eet was a little late today, a meeting with a panda had derailed it and so had finding the right shirt from John's closet. Not that fashion was something it really cared about, it was just hard finding a shirt that didn't feel like a blanket for how big it was. Which brought us to the actual moment of Eet creeping through the barrels and tables until locating that familiar blond head. How nice to be out with John~ Not to mention... free... tomatoes... That was why Eet came to this festival. Not sports, or dedication, or winning, or quality bonding time. No. This was all for tomatoes... and their wonderful taste~

Yet again Leon wondered how his brother and him were related. Really... Why couldn't Isaac grasp how amazing a tomato festival sounded? He claimed it was barbaric and stuff, then something about that not being normal. Leon didn't really care, he was here to meet people, and the festival had genuinely caught his eye. If it looked fun, well he'd sign up for it next year. But for this one, he'd simply he there to watch what it was all about. Besides, it gave him an insight on how the place worked. For now though, he would be holding a cigarette as he watched everyone working on the final touches. It would soon start, and it would soon get messy. Or so the advertising said... Did they really fling tomatoes? Leon could see the concept, but for some reason he couldn't see it as something real. Oh the things you thought off...

Fame, my friend! Fame!”, Wilhelm answered his friend with his best ten dollar smile. A smile her had inherit from her mother who, herself had gotten from her parents. It was a lawyer’s smile! A smile to charm everyone around him! Oh, not that he had any intention to become a lawyer. All those talks he heard his mother had about her jobs where just about as good then a good axe slash to his neck. So boring! He just couldn’t understand why anyone would want to do that, he had no idea. If you had charm, you should become something awesome! Something important! Something that would make you famous! Just like… A WEATHERMAN! Yes, when he grew up, he would tell everyone on the island if it was raining or not, but more importantly, he would do it on live television! Oh, he just couldn’t wait to be famous!

But then, Erika had to come and ruin his little day dream. She seemed to do that a lot lately. He had only put that on her failing a grade (AH!), but maybe she was out to get him? Oh yes, that was probably it. She was slowly falling in love with Peter! And she wanted him all for herself! THE b***h! Oh, no, noooo. She didn’t like Peter like that. Who would? Peter was so… so… well… CHANGING SUBJECT IN HIS MIND TO A MORE COMFORTABLE ZONE. ”So what if you have tomato all over you!? Tomato is good for your skin! Don’t you read magazines, Erika? It’s the new thing against pimple! … you should really try it. Like, really try it.” Well, it’s not because he didn’t totally believe in her trying to steal Peter away that he couldn’t still have some doubts and be snippy about it. COME ON! WE’LL HAVE FUN! LET’S HAVE FUN!”

++++++++++

Ahhh…. Of course. Quentin knew that he couldn’t just sit down and read a book. Something or something was bound to come and distract it and, as odds would have it, that something was Morgan. Shouting and screaming and… wearing a poncho? Well, that was new and interesting. Well, interesting enough for him to lower his book and look at him a bit longer than he would usually have done and even, God forbid, even speak to him. ”Yes, Morgan. I know, Morgan. It’s you, Morgan. Only you would wear something like that, Morgan.” No matter how often he had explained him that tomatoes… well, every objects in existence, wasn’t (too) dangerous for him, Morgan would just ignore it as him being lucky for not being killed by it yet. Oh well, he had learned to deal with it with time. In fact, he had even slowly to, tiny itsy bitsy-ly started to like that. At least Morgan’s craziness was enough to keep him entertain for a few seconds every day… and he wasn’t too bad to look at either…

…and neither was Ed who had just come in, all superior or everything. That was enough to have Quentin return to his book. Oh, he didn’t minded Ed, not in the very least, but he sometimes tended to be boring, telling things that Quentin already knew and everything. If he had something new every now and then, then maybe he wouldn’t be boring, but no, always the same old stuff over and over and over again. So boing. Better to just ignore him for now. At this point, the only thing that Ed could do to peak Quentin’s interest in him would be to get naked and run across the town square shooting a gun. That would keep him interested for a good 10 second.

++++++++++

Not that he didn’t love his daughter, but Neil always thought that there was something wrong with her… with the way she was acting and talking… this wasn’t normal, was it? She was so… so…. Calm! Shouldn’t she have more energy than that at her age? Sure, Julian was even calmer than her, but he had his mother dying and his step-mother marrying someone else almost the next day, it was enough drama to make him a soulless zombie, but Mimi never had anything of the sort. She should be running around twice as fast! Speaking three time faster! Oh, he was so afraid that she had Aspergers or something of the sort. ”Ah! Of course Mimi! You can go look for him! Ah! Of course not, Mimi! He’s just over there! Ah! Of course, Mimi! You just want to say hello to him! Ah! Of course Mimi, you can go say hi to him! Ah! Of course not Mimi! You cannot throw a tomato at him right now! Ah! Of course Mimi! You can have him as your first target! Ah! I dunno Mimi! Ask your mother if you can use her gun if you hit Julian successfully. It’s her decision.” Well, at least he knew his daughter well enough to predict what her questions would be! Too bad she wasn’t more active. He was sure they could have done a lot of things together.

Popcorn couldn’t help herself but to smile as she look at the exchange between her two partners. Oh! Wasn’t it cute to see just how those two thought they were being so secretive about their alternate life as a gay super hero couple! Oh, why couldn’t they just admit their romance already and just make out in front of her? The whole disappointment of it was enough to make her sigh in regret. One day, Popcorn, one day you’ll see your wet dream come true, but until then, you’ll have to keep pretending you’re in the dark. ”Aaaaahhh…. Alright. If you two say so, but I hope no one will get hurt! Who will take care of you if you get hurt? Or Worst! Who will take care of me?” She place her right hand on her chest and batted her eyelash a little bit. Who of those two beautiful young man would take care of her if she was to get hurt? Maybe both! Oh lord… now she had to make sure she’d twist an anckle during the game… would breaking up her leg be pushing it too much?

++++++++++

Maxine raised her eyes from the ground floor when she saw Blair stopping in front of her, on the other side of the booth. Of course, the young girl didn’t know she wasn’t suppose to be there. All she knew was that there had been a booth free, due to Yoakim still overseeing the preparation, and that she liked booths, she she had went there… for no real other reason. She preffered corners to booths, but it was hard to find a corner in a town square… even if a square was supposed to have four corners. She should ask her father to build some more corners at the town square… But for now, she would have to deal with the woman who was coming toward her. The little girl smiled for as long as half a second before speaking in a soft voice…” Alright, it wasn’t exactly speaking, but Maxine wasn’t really known to be the one to initiate a conversation… or even to have a conversation…

"Come on Daddy i want to do the Festival it sounds so fun!" Lily squealed as she ran ahead of her father whose nose was buried in a flyer for the festival. Lily rolled up her long sleeves as she entered the area where the festival was to be held. People were just starting to come in and it made her giggle with delight. What kid DIDN'T want to throw tomatoes at people? Especially because Lily thought she was a really good thrower! Lily's big sleeves fell right back down again after she had rolled them up. And with a shake of her head she forgot about her outfit and ran up to the registration table. "Daddy! Over here! We sign up here." Lily said as she grabbed a form and a pencil and painstakingly took the next 25 minutes to attempt to write down all the information, a lot that she had to bug her dad for help.

Sammi set down the flyer and sighed lightly. He didnt like the sound of this festival. Any festival in fact, large gathering of people, too much noise, too much to keep track of. Already the anxiety was setting in, more than four people were here and the need to smoke to calm his nerves was quickly rising. But his baby girl wanted to really do this and she was so excited and she needed to make friends. Still.. he didnt know if he could do this... Adjusting his hat and sunglasses Sammi looked down to Lily who was sounding things out as she spelled them. "Pumpkin. I know you want to do this festival.. but.." Sammi said in a worried tone as he put his hand on his daughter's head, her own googly eyed hat on her head.

"But daddy, dont you want to make friends too?" Lily asked with those big beautiful eyes of hers. "Sweetie- I.." "But daddy!" "You'll get your cute little outfit all dirty." "I know! That will be the best part!" Lily giggled with excitement. How good did tomato juice and guts come out of white clothing and a grey jumper? Sammi slapped his hand over his face and sighed. Outings like this made him want to smoke.

"Dont you love me?" Lily pouted already working up the fake water works. Sammi's mouth dropped, oh she just had to go pull that look. No he wasnt falling for it! No! Nope- "Ah hell.. dont go and pull that on me!" Sammi sighed and took off his hat to run his hand through his dark hair in thought. "Pleeeaaaaseee?" Lily pouted and hugged her father's waist looking up at him with the sweetest of smiles. Sammi buckled. "How can i resist that face? Alright sweetie, now gimmie that form pumpkin. Lets do this right. Well need to find people who want to team up with us too sweetie."
__________

Chucky could think of nothing better than attending a festival to get to know the locals. Now he was disappointed that they were wasting produce that could have gone to feed hungry mouths. Okay it flat out irked him, someone had taken the time and effort to plant those tomato seeds, water them talk to them feed them and harvest them. And now they were being used as entertainment?

Though he could possibly look over that fact if he met his next friend or girlfriend-ha yeah right, IF he could speak properly around a girl that is! He at least knew this was meant to be fun and to be social and he did enjoy both of those things. He had worked hard on his farm and it was time for play, even with the sacrificing of the tomatoes. At least he could throw tomatoes at the girls he thought were pretty! That worked as a flirting routine right? So the blonde headed over to the registration table and signed himself up. He would need a team though.
__________

Constantine had showed up to the festival, but he wasn't about to participate no no. Instead the idea of getting some action shots for sketching later seemed like a good hobby. A simple disposable camera would do well to get him the shots he needed, and while he was far from being a photographer like some others on the island, Isaac knew he could manage to get what he wanted. He had paused at the sign up booth in his walk onto the festival grounds. He was checking the little disposable camera, making sure everything was in working order for the cheap price he had purchased it for. Hey its not like he had any money to his name, maybe a little allowance now and then after hard work but most of it this purchase was thanks to Constantine picking up every little penny and nickle he spotted on the ground around the island.

When he looked back up from the Camera, Isaac looked around to see if he could spot anyone he knew. Were was his father in all this? He had left him a note that he would be out at the festival. At least Jacob would know where the kid of ten would be. But still it was always more ...calming with people he knew around. Ah.. there was that girl Maxine the one with the purple hair, near the judges table not far from him. She always looked so.. stoical, she had an air about her that you couldn't touch or talk to her. And maybe that was for the best, with him being on the shy side of things.

Another glance around and Isaac spotted Officer Murrow, ah now there was someone he trusted. Walking up to the older woman, Constantine came into view of Romane. Looking up at her he smiled faintly, he didn't want to intrude but he didn't want to be rude by not saying hi. "Hey Officer Murrow." Isaac said gently.

Riley was standing there, with his arms crossed and his hardest scowl face on. Sleep should be happening right now! He was only brought out of his silent fit of rage when Conor showed up. He was going to greet the man with a slap on the side of the shoulder when he was a d**k about the glasses. Did they really look bad, nah. There was no way that anything could look bad on him. "I think I look damn good. So, ******** you. You're just jealous cause you can't look this good in everything." He popped his non-existent collar and looked around at the people nearby once his smile had faded. "You think we're gonna kick a**? Oh, speaking of asses, where's Keith?" He turned to look behind Conor to see if he was slowly plugging up the rear or something. Hehe, plugging rears.

Morgan turned when he saw another shadow appear beside his, and smiled when he saw that it was Ed. He had previously thought that it was a stranger. That would not be acceptable. Strangers would try to probe his mind to figure out things he didn't know, and they'd just keep probing and probing and probing until all that was left inside of his skull was a giant glob of mush that could no longer be probed. Then they would destroy his remains, and he wouldn't even know it or feel it because his sensors would have been destroyed ages before that. But, Ed wasn't a stranger, so he didn't have to worry about protecting his brain today. "Hi, Ed! I'm not so sure what you just said! I didn't make holes for my ears!" He raised his hand to point at his ear. He waved his arm way too extensively, assuming that because he was a giant plastic blob, no one would be able to tell what was moving.

Once he had waved for the eighth time, he dropped his arm back down and turned back to Quentin. "I made this myself! I was going to make you one, but I couldn't remember how big your head was! Also, I didn't want to go to the store! But, I'm glad you can recognize me! I was worried you'd think I'd assault you or something!" He was still yelling every word. He could never be sure if Quentin could hear everything or not, maybe he had one of those crazy ear parasites that blocked out most of the sound and left you always asking everyone to repeat themselves, what an awful existence.

Ah, the tomato festival. While Mitsukai had never participated in it when she was younger she came to grow quite fond of this certain festival. She enjoyed the competition of it, despite the fact that she wasn't the most athletic person on the island. In addition to that there was the fact that none of her other family members enjoyed this particular festival. Both her mother and sister deemed it too messy, which left her to attend it on her own. Having Usagi come with her wouldn't have been too bad, but Mitsukai enjoyed being free from her family every once in awhile.

Upon arriving at the festival Mitsukai quickly headed over to the registration booth. Unfortunately, she didn't have anyone to sign up with but that could be taken care of, right? If not she could always just watch, which she wasn't opposed to doing. There were already a few people at the booth when she got there. She wouldn't have minded striking up a conversation but for now she was occupied with filling out her registration form. It was better to go ahead and get that done than to get distracted with something she could do later.

It took just a moment for a hand to be set gently, but in a manly superheroic way, onto Popcorn's shoulder, his eyes full of the utmost care and concern only a man of his heroic valor could muster. “I would never be able to forgive myself if anything ever happens to you, Popcorn.” He paused, frowning as he though thoroughly on that – oh, yes, he would never be able to let it down. Him, a man proud to call himself a protector of the people, incapable of taking care of even someone as dear and close to him as his darling would-be sidekick! How could he even possibly think himself well enough to watch over the strangers and doubters of the town? How could he live again after such a disaster? After he lost the trust of the only person – after Alekzander – who ever meant anything to him?

By this point in his inner monologue, Finnian was staring off into the sky, holding a fist to his chest as he fought back the tears in his eyes. This was probably the most dramatic development that could ever happen in the life and times of his superhero days! It would be lying to say he didn't somewhat hope Popcorn did get hurt so he could live forever with this life-crippling guilt. ..But, that would be wrong, so, instead, he looked back to Popcorn and went on, “..As such, nothing will happen to you! Avian and I will protect you to the best of our super abilities.” He winked at Avian and let his hand drop from Popcorn's shoulder. Ah, if only she knew~

Oh, Quentin. Always capable of getting a rise from Ed through the smallest of things. The boy didn't come over to speak to Quentin, but he did notice how his attention had gone to a book instead of him. Not that Ed thought he was anything spectacular, but if that didn't remind him of certain individuals and their attitudes toward him, he didn't know what would. ..But, as with those certain individuals, Ed had learned to swallow any agitation in a second and divert his attention elsewhere. Vi wasn't here to get it, so Morgan would have to do. He was about Vi's level anyway. “I – ” He began in response to Morgan, but then the boy had gone to screaming at Quentin instead. ..Yeah, alright, Ed was used to this. He wondered if he shouldn't tell Morgan that Quentin wasn't deaf, he was just ignoring him and everyone else – and maybe, just maybe, the smallest of wants to tell Morgan there was no possible size for Quentin's head – it was too immense to be measured by human means. But, he didn't. Instead, he kept his arms to his sides and stared over their competition. They weren't going to win, he knew, because Ed didn't like winning. It brought attention and Kip never liked attention, but becoming second or third to get out would be enjoyable. So, figuring out who to avoid was probably the best he could do while Morgan was deaf and screaming at an assumed deaf Quentin.

Oh, talking to her dad – Mimi had such fun with it! Why? Because it never really was talking since he always guessed just what she was going to say and manage to beat her to every word, forcing her to look at him quietly and listen. Listening was such a hard thing to do that it always amazed her whenever she found herself doing it – only mom and dad could do that! Yep! She rethought everything she heard – she could say hi to Julian because he was over there and she couldn't hit him yet, but she may be able to shoot mom's gun if she looked sweet enough to her. Yes! That is exactly what was said and the reason why she looked up at her mother, who had been standing there enjoying her husband's way with children. Romane would never have thought that Neil could manage to handle Mimi, but, well, she never thought anyone could. Not like how she could, in any case. She met eyes with her daughter and pat her on the head, “Later.” She pulled her hand back and Mimi was left with a shouted, “When is LATER?!” Before she realized who she was talking to.

That realization had her kissing her mother's hand in apology and running straight into Constantine. Did she know him? Ye- ...No.. wait.. NO. “I don't know you!” She pointed at him in awe that she could not know someone. How did she get to know him?! “HI!” She blurted out before she could figure the answer to that out, but then she noticed that that was probably the best way to do it! She was so smart! “Hi!” She said with a smile. ..Just to make sure. “Hi!” ..Why didn't he answer yet? “Hi!” Maybe he couldn't hear? She took a deep breath and yelled, “HI!” ..Oh, maybe he COULD hear! She should say that again in a normal voice. “Hi!” ..Probably a little quieter this time. “..Hi..!” ..And maybe once more? “Hi!

Mimi hadn't quite stopped with her streams of various 'Hi!'s, but that didn't deter Romane from greeting among them as she saw the boy. Constantine Tepes – ah, yes, he had grown into a decent young boy without his psychotic father. Proof she had done the right thing and proof she would point out to Camelia or Vlad the next time she saw them. She gave him a small nod and spoke inbetween Mimi's greetings, “Good morning, Constantine.

Ah, Eet! John's smile only grew more as he saw the.. it. Thing. He wasn't sure still, but Eet was Eet and that was always good enough for John. He didn't like thinking very hard on things like that. Or anything, for that matter, but him thinking this was enough to be considered something and he often thought on how he didn't like to think about things very much.. Ah, he was confusing himself! Better stick back to the moment – which was Eet. He continued to grin at Eet, looking it over to make sure it was wearing clothes. Not that Eet had appeared nude before, but it was always good to make sure someone was wearing something – John had grown used to blocking out nudity ever since he got used to having Keith and Conor as parents. It helped with the trauma. “Is that my shirt?” He asked as he slowly came to recognize it from coming from his closet, though he sounded more surprised than anything. His clothing was always so bland he doubted that anyone wanted to wear it, but Eet always surprised him. “Do you like it? You can have it.” He continued happily – he liked giving people things! If it made Eet happy, then John felt happy, which he expressed by patting Eet on the head and speaking encouragingly, like he often did, “Good Eet.” Praising also made him happy~ Ah, hanging around Eet was just one happy thing after another!

~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~

We're gonna kick some a** today, man – just us. Bros and s**t, yeah?” He smacked a hand to Riley's shoulder to punctuate it – of course they were! Anyone was going to kick a** when they were with Conor.

Ahah, Erika was perfectly prompt this time, and Peter smiled dimly at his blonde friend as she approached -- though it didn't last for long. Now that she mentioned it, it didn't sound so much fun, getting hit by tomatoes. Sounded... squishy. He glanced down at the shirt he was wearing. At least it wasn't white, but... His mother wouldn't be pleased with him when he got home. "Even more of a reason to win, then!" he concluded, pulling himself back up into his usual naively positive place. "Don't worry, Erika, it'll be fun," he echoed Wilhelm. He was always easily persuaded by his childhood friend. Afterall, who wouldn't be swayed by a smile like that? "Fun... Lots of fun. Tons of fun! ...Thanks for inviting me, Will!" he grinned, patting Wilhelm gently on the shoulder. That was one of Peter's talents, convincing himself to believe anything. It was a skill he had inherited from his mother, though she was too pessimistic to fully employ its powers. But Peter was an eternal optimist, and the key to believing anything was wanting to believe it! ...And he wanted to believe that this would be the most fun day of his life, he really did. Because the idea of having tomatoes thrown at him and then having to deal with an angry Kotone when he arrived home in stained clothes wasn't really what he'd consider fun.

---

While the older of his mothers took a look at the competition, Jeremy enjoyed the attention of the gentler Zhi -- for all of ten seconds. Even at his young age, he was quickly learning to develop of a hell of a poker face, because even he knew that it would be wrong to express horror at something his mother was remembering with such fondness. So he just stared up at her with a blank expression that would make his aunt Elliot proud. "...I 'member," he mumbled in response. How could he forget? He still had dreams about people being carried off in stretchers. ...Marshmallow stretchers, but the image was the same nonetheless. Taking one more glance in River's direction, he thanked his luck that she liked him, and hugged Zhi's leg even harder.

---

Yuri grimaced at June as he came up and grabbed her out of nowhere. "I don't know why you keep on insisting that I do this with you guys," she sighed, crossing her arms firmly over her chest, glancing over at the suffering Mac out of the corner of her eye. "I promise not to screw up if you promise not to use me as a shield," she stared him straight in the eye for a moment before shifting her shoulders slightly to wiggle out of his grasp. Even after all of these years, she still took that one event to heart. She would never forget the sense of excitement after being invited to be on a team with a potential new friend, much as she wouldn't forget the biting bitter sensation when she realized he had just used her to his advantage in one d**k move. And honestly, he had yet to redeem himself for that.

Constantines eyes went to Mimi she couldnt be much younger than him. But she was right, they didnt know one another, then again he didnt know alot of people on the island because he kept to himself. A habit he should probably change, he didnt want to grow up without friends. Plus, the girls likeness to Romane seemed uncanny, so most likely the little girl was Romane's daughter. That meant she was an acceptable possiblity of a friend. Constantine was about to answer the girl and greet her when she said hi like a billion times, or rather enough times that he had lost count. Everytime Isaac went to open his mouth another 'hi' came from Mimi's. It wasnt until Romane spoke that the little girl queited momentarily and he could speak.

"Hi. Im Constantine. But you can call me Isaac. And yeah we dont know eachother, yet. Whats your name?" Isaac asked gently. Afterall he did just want to stay near someone he knew, but talking to an adult got weird at times, he didnt know what to say. But with someone his own age. Well.. he could manage a bit better.. he supposed.

Lily frowned, they needed a team?! Well who would be on their team? And who already had a team and who didnt?! Oh this was hard. She looked up to her father that was lighting a disgusting cigarette.

"Daddy thats gross." She said with a frown, before she tugged at his pants to get his attention better. "We need to find a team! Come on! Lets ask people if they want to be on our team. I know we can name it the team of awesome hats. OOOH lets go find someone with a hat daddy!" Lily said as she tugged on her father's arm.

"Alright alright give me a moment pumpkin. Daddie's not exactly kosher at the moment." Sammi said, his hands slightly shaking as he raised the cigarette to his lips once more. Oh he was trying his best not to bolt. The jitters in his stomach werent helping and the chatter of the crowd made it difficult to think. Where was someone he knew when he needed them?! If he could find Amanda maybe he could calm his nerves, and solve Lily's little problem of finding a team. But he hadnt seen her, or the kid called Brody.

Before he could attempt to relax further Lily was pulling her still smoking and nervous father through the crowd to the center of it. Releasing her father Lily cupped her hands to the sides of her mouth and shouted. "HEY! ANYONE WANNA BE ON MY TEAM!? ILL BE YOUR BESTEST FRIEND! PLEASE?!" Lily called out with a smile of triumph, now everyone would come to her now right?

"Oi.." Sammi slapped his hand over his face in embaressement, he lowered the brim of his hat down to further hide himself and the blush on his cheeks. Yep.. that was his kid alright. When she didnt get what she wanted she demanded it. Politely at least, but boy could she get loud and persistant.

Chucky found himself in the same perdicament. But unlike the little seven year old who had screamed out her own desires. Chucky wasnt so bold. Especially with some of these cute girls around. One in particular was near the registration booth that he wasnt far from. She was cute, not like drop dead gorgeous that would render him a drooling pile of useless human flesh. But close! So..

Instead of going up to the girl (mitsukai) like a normal person would. Chucky just looked at her, more like stared. As he did he realised the girl might be too young for him, or not it was hard to tell. Either way he didnt want to be a total creeper, so adverting his gaze quickly Chucky adjusted his hat to distract himself momentarily. Maybe he could team up with one of the guys? Who did he know? Ah! There was Xiero! The guy who ran the bakery! Wait.. wouldnt that be weird.. if he just ran up to him and asked to join his party? He was new here though... what was he supposed to do?! If it wasnt business related it seemed weird. And while he wanted to team up with girls he couldnt open his mouth for too long before it betrayed him.

Steeling his resolve Chucky took in a deep breath and looked around. Deciding that he may as well go full force and try to talk to a girl again for the 16th billionth time in his life, and this maybe succeed- but probably not!- Chucky headed over to Mistukai. When he got to her he was already blushing lightly and worrying at his bottom lip. He smiled- albeit a bit goofy- and held out his hand as a greeting. Hi im Chucky, its a pleasure to meet you Miss. Im new here and in need of a team, would you like to team up with me? Thats what Chucky thought he was going to say to the pretty girl.

That is not what came out of his mouth. "Hi im pretty girl, would you like to team, Chucky?" Chucky froze at his own words, and instantly regretted opening his damn mouth again around a girl. Chucky dropped his gaze and his hand. "Ah hell thats not what i meant to say..." He said as he whispered under his breath. That wasnt even a coherent sentence what he just said! Hi him pretty girl?! What the ******** was that?! Really smooth Chucky real smooth...
