Hey everyone.
Sophie here, though you may know me better as Sailor Sapphire. Recently, the Gemstone Senshi Palace was sold, so I decided to open up a new guild for all of you Gemstones and Gemstone supporters out there. I apologize in advice for the informality of all of this. Since I consider this guild to officially be a group effort, your input is gratefully appreciated on most matters. Here are some questions I have, and I request that all members reply to this topic with their responses.
Question 1: Should we re-open inactive Gemstone positions from the previous guild?
Question 2: What should the name of this guild be? Should we give it the same name as the last guild or come up with a new one?
So far, those are the only questions I can think of for now. However, if you have any proposals on anything in regards to the guild, PLEASE either private message me or post here!
Also, if you know of any previous members from the last guild or know of people who would be interested in joining, please invite them!

1.) If the positions are inactive, I would probably check the last online date of the occupants. There are some, like Lilliana, who might not have been on since awhile back, but only because they were on a legitimate hiatus. On the other hand, if their online date was recent, but they weren't active in the guild, it's probably better to open those positions again.
2.) This one is slightly tricky. We could take up suggestions for new names and hold a poll for it, once more members join in.

(1) Yes. The idling of each position either was more than a month, or over a year at least. Placing each active member to a position from the previous guild could give new opportunity to an individual who has been with the guild for a while too.
(2) As for a new name, the current works for now. Although, putting up an announcement for name ideas would allow each member to agree on a new name.

1) In my opinion, yes. There are a few exceptions, though..like Lilliana-jade

2) I think holding a competition for the name is a good idea.

Okay... so, correct me if I'm wrong, but here's what I'm gathering so far:
1) Yes, re-open inactive positions unless they have informed us that they are on hiatus or have limited internet access (Lilliana-Jade). Or, as CaptJackShepard has suggested, if they are active but have not participated with the Gemstones, open up their role (should I send them a notice/warning first?).
Since I'm unaware of who played each role, I am going to open up a topic with a list of each senshi role and knight role; if you guys know who played those characters, please provide a link to their profile so that I can go over their posts and see if they are still active members of the Gemstone group. Does anybody have any objections to this? Feel free to let me know.
2) Make a thread for new name ideas and conduct a poll once we have more members. Saint Terra, are you suggesting I make a guild announcement informing people that we will be doing such, or...?

@Sophie: Yes, I am suggesting that we will be doing such. A poll vote would appropriate for new name ideas. That way, everybody's vote will count, and not just an anonymous name vote with nobody else's say in the matter.

Question 2: What should the name of this guild be? Should we give it the same name as the last guild or come up with a new one? I have no idea. I would think a new one for a fresh start.

2) I somehow think the current title relates more to gaia than to SM. There are indeed a lot of gemstone items on gaia, after all... So it may need to be changed to reflect its theme.
