Elisabetta was on a mission.

It wasn't every day that she had extra spending money between bills and Bentley's expenses, but this month was special. She was dead set on making her son's first Halloween the very best in his life, and even if money was tight, it was still there and she would stop at nothing to have her way. Especially when she had Bailey to think about as well.

So, as she sashayed down the sidewalk to the Halloween store, her hand interlocked with her sibling's, she turned down to Bailey with a smile. "Do you know what you want to be for Halloween?"

Bailey shuffled shyly. "....No."

Of course it was a lie. Bailey knew what it wanted to be, but it just seemed like such a silly idea. Really, it was hoping that Lissy could make the decision so everything wouldn't ride on it's shoulders. The pressure was too much.

She quirked her lips, but never the less, ruffled Bailey's hair affectionately. "Well, we'll find something, I'm sure. We'll just meet up with Vincent and Bentley at the store, and we can all try on costumes!"

Oh, and he had better be there. She'd told him to meet her at the Halloween X-treme in downtown at 3pm sharp, and so what if she was using her Time magic to make sure she arrived a little early instead of what should have been really late. That didn't give him an excuse.

Vincent was waiting. And by waiting, it was meant that the young adult was looking through costumes at Halloween X-treme, while waiting for his fiancee. He had come early in order to do just that. Hopefully she wouldn't force him to wear anything too embarassing--but he was positive he'd look bad in anything. All these outfits were too flashy, or too strange. He shuddered to think what he'd look like in them.

Bentley, however, was another matter. Lissy had asked him to meet her here; and when Elisabetta asked him to do something, it was done. Even if it was strange, this Halloween thing--oh, he'd celebrated before, but he had never been particularly fond of the holiday. His brothers tended to like forcing him to dress up as a pirate.

Bentley seemed to want every outfit on Gaia. "Mine?" he asked, pointing to a pumpkin costume. Half the infant costumes were like that. Probably designed to keep the baby from moving too much. "Mine mine?"

"No, silly. We're waiting for your mother. She'll help us pick something out."

"Mommy?" Bentley echoed, beaming. "Mommy mommy mommy!"

"That's it! Look, look!" Bailey fluttered up into air, pointing excitedly at the theme decorated store front. It latched onto Elisabetta's shoulders, using her tentacles as foot pegs, since they could more than handle it's weight.

She reached her arms back to hold onto Bailey, making sure it didn't fall as she walked. The excitement was understandable; even she couldn't wait to see what kinds of goodies they had! It didn't seem like it was a hop and they were walking in the front door. She had to physically hold onto Bailey when the fae wanted to flutter off on it's own. "Woah! Slow down, Seabiscuit. You'll get your chance. We just need to find Vincent first."

"Already did," Bailey giggled.

Elisabetta craned her head and looked around, her pigtails and halos swinging. "Where? I don't see them?"

"Shh! Just listen."

And listen she did. First she heard the tell tale "mine" followed by her fiances voice, and then an echoing chorus of her favorite word. With a knowing smile between siblings, the teenage mom sashayed her way to her lover's side, her boots clipping on the tile. With the changing seasons, Elisabetta had tossed her skimpier clothing to the back of the closet in favor of sweater dresses, thick belts, leggings and boots. It wasn't as sexy as she prefferred, but it was classy. "Good day, Mr. Sadril." She teased. "And hello hello to Mommy's little boy." She bent down to kiss Bentley's forehead, careful not to jostle Bailey. "I hope you don't mind; I stopped to pick up Bailey on the way over."

"You're early," Vincent seemed pleasantly surprised when he noticed Lissy. He smiled at her. "We just got here a few minutes ago. Bentley wanted to look at the costumes." He paused and grinned at Bailey. "Hey," he greeted the fae. "Nice to see you again. How've you been?" He knew Bailey was shy, but the last time he'd seen it, it'd been a lot younger. Maybe it had come out of it's shell? He moved to kiss Lissy's cheek. "You look lovely," he muttered into her ear. She always did.

Bentley seemed to agree. Mommy always looked nice. And Mommy was his! Why was Daddy trying to keep her? "Mommy! Mommy!" the infant giggled as his forehead was kissed. "Mine?" he asked, pointing to a costume. Was it his now? Daddy had said to wait for Mommy, and now Mommy was here...

"He wants the entire store," Vincent told his fiancee with a grin. "As usual."

Elisabetta couldn't help grinning. That time magic Thali taught her what seemed like ages ago really came in handy. "Oh yeah? Did you find anything you liked?" There was no bother asking if Bentley had found anything he liked; she already knew the answer.

Bailey twisted part of it's sister's hair between it's fingers nervously. "I'm good," it said with a small smile. For the most part, Bailey didn't look away from Bentley. The small fae was still in a state of shock that a baby came out of it's sister, even if it had been a while. It fluttered to the ground at the same time Lissy moved in to turn her fiance's cheek kiss into something more. "Only for you," she whispered.

Elisabetta pulled back just enough to look down at Bentley. Honestly, she wanted to go further, and would have if she wasn't also playing "mommy" and "big sis" at the moment. Later, though.... She scooped her son up into her arms, using her longest tentacle as a little cushion for him. "The entire store, Bentley? Really?" She giggled, nuzzling up against his head with hers before she started to wander the store. "How about something like....that?"

She pointed out a little lion costume.

"Only you," he said, grinning. He had learned the difference between costume jewelry and real jewelry when he'd been very young. His fiancee was the best looking thing in the store; but perhaps she would look even better in one of those costumes? "I was hoping you'd help me pick something." He looked to Bailey and smiled. "That's good," he said. "You like being--er. You like your nephew?" What would Bailey be to Bentley, since Bailey was genderless?

Elisabetta wasn't the only one who'd wanted to go further; but Vincent pulled himself together for the sake of the children with them. "Later," he whispered into her ear. "We'll finish."

"Mine!" Bentley seemed to agree. The entire store would one day be his! "Mommy!" He reached to her face with his tentacles, cooing. He squirmed a bit when she nuzzled him, seeming to attempt to do the same. "Mommy mine! Mommy mommy!" He paused and turned green eyes to the costume she indicated. "Ooooh," he said with some awe. "Mine!" He reached for it with arms and tentacles.

"It's darling," Vinny said, having followed Lissy.
