AMITYVILLE ACADEMY ENROLLMENT FORM

Name: Tinker Gadsby
Nicknames: Tink, Tinkerbell, Tinker Toy, Gadsby
Gender: Male
Age: Unknown, but assumed to be around 16

Faction: Ghost
Race: Ghost - Tin Soldier Haunt

Natural Ability:

Possession: While incapable of having much of an impact in a physical form due to lack of focus, Tinker is extremely good at hiding in everyday objects, to the point where he can even control them to a small extent.

Personality: User Image

"...Why, hello there! Tinker Gadsby, pleasure to meet you."

Like the rest of his ghostly comrades, Tinker Milton remembers nothing of the life he led before becoming a ghost, and the reaping to Halloween town that followed. However, he does have clues - a particular obsession with old military emblems from across the globe, and a rather gruesome war-torn visage in contrast to his physical form, that of a possessed child's toy. (Don't call him a doll, please remember he's an action figure.) Any and all memories of the battlefield seem to have been wiped from his mind though as he entered the world of Halloween, but he is still prepared to do his best with mechanized eager enthusiasm; if anything, the key-operated little ghoul is a a bit too tightly wound for his job, never quite sure if he's doing the right thing.

"I swear, I should've fought them aaaall off after what they did, and next time I will, I do declare!
Well maybe... Last time it was awful scary and you oughta have seen what they did to the last guy, I mean..."

Good-Intentioned/Cowardly : If there was ever one thing that could be said about Tinker, it was that he always tries his hardest and has the best of everyone in mind. Nearly everything he does is under the impression of 'fixing' something, or 'making something better'. However, it doesn't always work out, one because he's rather clumsy behind the wheels of his possessed body, and two, because he's often too scared to accomplish it. Despite being rather proud of his war experience, he's more in love with the idea of it... Tinker is much too big of a chicken to really accomplish anything.

"That was absolutely wonderful, don't think I've ever quite felt that way before!
In-you-end-oh? Afraid I don't quite understand you... Is that Italian?"

Enthusiastic/Naive : However, when put to a task he's always chipper and raring to go! Especially if given any sort of positive feedback, Tinker can work diligently on a task for hours upon hours on end - perhaps due to his ghostly nature. A wind-up toy was probably an appropriate form for him to take, given his dedicated and consistently peppy nature, in comparison to other ghosts who mope about death all the time. This does lead to him being walked all over or taken advantage of, given he's rather gullible and naive to the cruelties of others, living in a very idealized world. Naivety doesn't just end there though, he's also fairly oblivious when it comes to the opposite gender. In life, it might've been that girls never showed any interest, and it shows in his clumsy behavior. Sometimes he can be seen mumbling something about earning medals to show Sally in his sleep, but never can seem to remember whenever he wakes up.

"I'd love to help you. Just say anything!
As if you'd want help from a failure of a ghost though, in all honesty..."

Friendly/Lacking Self Confidence : Overall though, Tinker is an ambitious, but good person in the end! Slightly slow, but endlessly faithful he's a great friend to keep. He's more than just a little unsure of himself, constantly beating himself up for a) not being able to be a real apparition, only really able to communicate with the living through a vessel, b) for dying in the first place, and c) never able to finish what he starts, be it a fight (due to fleeing) or his evergrowing collection of medals. Will one accomplishment be able to make up for the fact that on the inside, he considers himself a failure?

Why are they enrolled in Amityville Academy? Tinker is always looking for ways to prove himself to be the best at something - anything - even if it means learning the art of being horrifying. School was an opportunity to try and shine, for a change, or if not, go out in a blaze of glory.

FEAR Ability: Ceasefire!: Tinker leaves his body for a second, temporarily using Fear in order to possess his opponent. While Tinker is not powerful enough to cause any change in action, he can pause them long enough to halt an attack, or hold still to receive damage.

User ImagePhysical Description:

Eye Colour: Orange
Hair Colour/Style: Hard molded 'hair' appears to be brown in a rather traditional short men's style, complete with a painted curl on his forehead.
Skin Colour: White pale, with red 'blush' and a red nose

Clothing Style/Colours: He wears an ensemble consisting of boots, a jacket, and trousers that appear to be uniform inspired, despite having a few creepy twists, like white embroidery resembling bones on the jacket. Everything, however, is in a variety of primary shades. Brass buttons stud nearly everything on his wardrobe, adding to a rather consistent 'dapper' appearance. As far as other favorite trademarks go, he's commonly seen in large flamboyant uniform hats, gloves, and medals from his collection - the older, the better.

Extra: While human-sized due to the magic of Amityville's skull pins, Tinker is in reality, a possessed toy soldier. And it shows, from the steel pins at his joints, or the giant gold key at his back - which thankfully, can be removed when needed. (When removed, it usually shrinks back to its usual size, at which Tinker is fond of either wearing around his neck, or placing in his pocket.)

Tinker is quite ashamed of having to result to this form, versus his ghostly comrades that can appear in full spectral form! On occasion he'll leave behind his body when practicing becoming a full apparition, typically appearing as little more than a blur of extremely faint-glowing blue. However, other ghosts are capable of seeing him in his true form, which resembles a young man in uniform, with a similar haircut. However, as a ghost, he is missing both his right arm, left eye, and is always dripping some sort of blue ectoplasm from behind a variety of bandages. Holes seem to litter the entirety of his body, in addition.

In terms of additional character information, here's a few tidbits!
- He speaks in a light British accent, and can be extremely prone to rambling. When in spectral form, his voice sounds light and hollow when capable of being heard, and when in his typical form, it is dotted in addition with faint mechanized clicking.
- He collects military memorabilia! Primarily medals, despite never actually having earned one himself.
- While extremely peppy most of the time, when torn down by others he may have brief mental breakdowns at having his flaws dissected; as a result, he may disappear into his surroundings for extended amounts of time, while enemies might notice their furniture behaving a bit oddly. Household accidents aren't that common, mm? Might want to be a bit careful, from now on...
