According to TMZ.com:

A former WWE wrestler, Tyson Tomko, was arrested in Florida yesterday after cops say he was injecting himself with stolen pain medicine ... while hiding inside the bathroom of a local Chili's restaurant.

Tomko, who wrestled in the WWE between 2002 and 2009, is accused of robbing a CVS Pharmacy on October 10th after allegedly threatening to attack the pharmacist unless he forked over several bottles of Oxycodone.

The pharmacist claims he complied and Tomko escaped with 210 tablets of the powerful painkiller.

According to the police report, obtained by TMZ, Tomko went to a nearby Chili's and he asked his waitress for a spoon. When the server brought him a teaspoon, he asked for a "deeper spoon" and when he got it, he took it to the men's room where he remained for 30 to 40 minutes.

Cops were eventually tipped off and when they arrived on the scene, one officer says Tomko had "needle marks and blood running down his arm" and had just flushed something down the toilet.

Tomko was taken into custody and allegedly told police he has a "severe drug problem."

Cops say Tomko admitted he took the Oxycodone from CVS and injected 178 pills, which he crushed up and melted down, but he swore he never threatened the pharmacist.

Tomko was taken to a nearby hospital and then transported to a nearby jail, where he was booked for robbery. He's currently behind bars. His bond was set at $7,500.

Imagine that. Christian's "problem solver" met a problem he can't solve.

2009? He left the WWE in 2005!

Yeah, because that's not weird at all...

At least he's willing to admit he needs help.

True, but the period that he worked for the company fell between 2002 and 2009. 2004 and 2005 happen to be between those numbers.

Yes, but hell, if they're going to put it in such an unrealisticly wide bracket, they could just say he was involved in the company between 1987 and 2011.

Technically, 2004 and 2005 fall between there....

A fair point. My guess is, they're not wrestling fans at TMZ, which automatically would mean that they've never even heard of tomko. They didn't want to do the research, so they just narrowed it down a little bit.

Problem with that, is that it's not good journalism. A true journalist does the research, regardless of any lack of desire.

I don't think you're supposed to expect 'good journalism' from TMZ. That's like asking Ryan Seacrest about the situation in Bosnia.

Don't expect good journalism from anywhere these days.

...And nobody noticed.

Which sucks, because I thought he was a good personality for the business. Tough, thug-like guy. Him and Snitsky could've been big, together. At least, when Snitsky had the beard....

I think they did briefly team together at one point shortly before Tomko got released the first time.

They did. But that's my point. They could've gone somewhere with it, and became something like the LOD.
