The Tea Party isn't Republican.
neutral Get your facts straight.
I'm in a terrible situation myself --- lots of education. No job. Why go to school if there's no advantage in getting a job? And thousands of my classmates are in the same boat. I would be protesting myself if I thought it would accomplish anything positive...which it probably won't, seeing as it is about to be hijacked by
the shitty Leftist Democrats (not to be confused with what used to be the
understandable Democratic Party)
I haven't been watching Fox News. What does MSNBC say about the protest?
I know, it's Libertarian. But Ron Paul running as a republican shows how interwoven the two are, even if Libertarians are more liberal in most areas than republicans would ever think of, which is rather sad that they support them so much.
Though I do like Ron Paul's comment. Least I think it was Ron Paul.. something about how our politicians are deepening a divide instead of working and counterbalancing each other like they're supposed to.
And I don't watch MSNBC much anymore. They fire both Cenk and Olberman, who were their only real liberals. The network is defending the rich just like Fox, and why not, they are corporate owned too.
I watch TYT and Current TV.
I want to know your thoughts on what the successfulness of a socialist economy in America would be like, and not the crazy vision of socialism from the right wing that is apparently "of satan", actual Norweigan/British style Socialism. The type that works.
EDIT - That first link I had to stop reading, he talks about economic growth and regulations, but doesn't see where de-regulation has gotten us.
And there was a bit of infiltration done by the right already, some people tried to escalate it all into a riot but the actual protesters didn't follow them.
And the Anonymous collective backing OWS is a massive boon to them. The world has already been shown the outright insane capabilities of Anonymous when pit against something "nobody can do anything to" IE Scientology, the US federal government, ACTA, and so on. I'm not counting the sony hacking because that was anonops, a different sub group similar to Anonymous legion, both of which have actual leaders.
