The Shop
What exactly is a minishop?
A minishop sells variety of services such as bumps, art, pets, and customs.
What kind of services does LVoA offers to customers?
For now, items. We are in development of making pets for customers to grow and customized. Hopefully, in the future, we’ll be able to sell art of avatars and such to the public.
What does LVoA stand for?
Little Village of Avalon
Why a “village” instead of a single store?
First off, we would like to offer a wide range of items to customers so a village offers that kind of space.
Second, in most role play games, many players encounter villages and cities.
HOWEVER, the essential shops exist throughout ALL video games.
There is the item shop that sells healing and accessories.
There is the blacksmith that sells armor and weapons.
Finally, there is the misc shop that sells practically everything else.
Many games either divide these shops into more or less specific sections depending on the general game concept.
So what is the concept of LVoA?
It is a combination of role play video games AND nature.
What is the nature aspects of LVoA?
[1] Almost ALL items being sold at LVoA have nature-feel to it.
[2] The setting is a more nature and fantasy than actual modern and urban.
[3] The shop is being run by fairies >___>
What is the video game aspects of LVoA?
[1] The banners and the how the previews are made should give the feel of a video game screen.
[2] Esterfalcon City which is the Events page mostly have events based on various video games.
[3] Original feature of LVoA is the hidden items. Players have to search and explore LVoA to obtained freebies.
[4] Customers are players of the game.
Customers are players? Does that mean they have levels?
No. The only leveling is the minishop. The more gold earn, the more experienced points. The more experienced points, more levels attained. The more levels attained, the more items can be released.
What about the story? Does it mean you are using items to fight bad guys or something?
No. The story and concept of LVoA is NOT based on saving the world. It is more like expanding the shop -- making it bigger and better sort of role play video game.
Why pick the theme “nature”?
[1] It provides a more open type of concept since there are the elements and the mystical feel that nature can give.
[2] Most b/c shops are animal base.
Having “nature” inspired items gave that flexibility to customers to use the items in their role play or decorative purposes for their pet profile --- especially if they are mystical or nature based.
[3] Nature is vast and varied hence allows the artists a very wide range of avenues to let lose their creative spirit.
Why is there so many sections with different names?
When you enter a village -- in a video game or in RL, each store got their own name.
LVoA implicates that in the interface for visual fun as well for organize purposes.
Why so many servers?
For organizational purposes.
What is the purpose for each server?
LVoA - the main server -- introduction
Vertsilver Meadow -- unlimited items
Esterfalcon City -- Limited items & minishop pets
Silveredge Mountains --- not yet released -- for pets to grow
Misty Woods -- not yet released -- a minigame that features a maze full of freebies.
What is each section of the shop for?
Maple Sweets is the bakery and candies store.
Golden Apple is the beauty store.
Buttersilver Haven is the home store.
Nature's Gifts is the healing store.
Dragoon Armory is the weaponry and defense shop.
Evergreen Tavern is practically a mini-restaurant.
Starry Lake features any items with star and moon designs.
Dracmarsh Venue features various items that are themed and not food.
Nomad's Dock features LVoA artists and strictly 3 outside artists.
Atelier Leviathan features the dice rolling action for brewing or forging.
Temple of Summoning features the random number action for gachaphon.
Garden of Wishes features the Role-playing prompts and games.
Windgate Towers features samples and access to all servers in more boarder view.
Why are there many NPCs in LVoA?
Three are mostly for practical management purposes.
The others are for Pet’s Miniquests.
So how are the NPC interact with players?
Mehu is the main NPC in which other minishops can request affiliates and the most public.
Popo and Momo are financing and delivering NPCs.
Customers send their trades to these two -- one from the main server and one from the event server.
Eyon Duris is also a finacing and delivering NPC --- only during holidays. Any other month, he's just a regular NPC.
The other NPCs found in Esterfalcon City and Unground Ruins are quest givers to players who want their pet to grow.
OMG!! Toooo much and complicated order forms!!! AHHHHH!!
Really? Because all you have to do is actually write the item name and type. Just like any other minishop out there.
Calculating your items is HARD as hell!
I seriously doubt that….the ordering system is designed so you do not have to remember how much each item cost. You just have to remember how many items you want and multiply the flat rate price in that area.
Where are my order(s)?
Patience is a virtue. Learn it. If not, then go somewhere else.
Hey? I didn’t order this. Do I have to pay extra?
It’s a hidden item. You’ve fulfilled a certain condition - hence you have received a freebie.
Hey! I saw have such and such but I can’t find it anywhere in your shop! Was it stolen?
All retired items are on display somewhere. The only ones that are not obvious are the hidden items.
Rawr! How many hidden items are there?
In the main server, 15 items. Esterfalcon City, unknown. Ordering - there are 8 items.
RAWR!! I want all the hidden items! Give me them!!! Bawahahaha!
No. It’s LVoA minigame to customers.
Wow, really. So like your idea is not very original?
I really doubt that there is any original concepts out there. However, LVoA is providing a different spin to the concept of rpg, nature, and shopping at the minishop section.
Why such a big credit section at your shop? Way, way too many inspirations!! You’re a idea stealer! I should report you. *threatens and bashing some more*
First off, trolling and bashing is against Gaia ToS.
Second, inspirations which is defined as “stimulation for the human mind to creative thought or to the making of art” -- dictionary.
Third, INSPIRATIONS --- as in a spark of ideas. You have Red Riding Hood -- there's many spin offs. LVoA combines both minishop and B/C for a brand new interactive interface and shopping experience for ALL players.
Lastly, please back off. Video games, movies, and tv shows have way longer credits than LVoA.
Like Hello? Why are you posting codes and format in your shop?
Ain't that suppose to be in the test forum?
It was never Lily's style to keep "public formats" secret from the public.
So, if you lurk in LVoA -- think of all those information and items as a preview of what is to come.
Wouldn't that like be a high risk of your ideas to be stolen and such? I mean there are pretty childish people and trolls, too.
Good point.
But nobody can exactly copy LVoA.
It's a very complicated and intricate minishop system beneath the surface.
IF anyone does, good luck trying.
It's really difficult maintaining a minishop of this magnitude
and keep a simple minishop front for customers ~
Besides, if anyone really does replicate LVoA, there's always that love button called [ Report ]
