Lillie was restless. She probably cleaned the house twice. It was a good thing that she wasn't in school that day. She sooner or later sat down on the couch and pulled up the sleeve of her arm revealing a vine that looked ever much like a tattoo, but it was in fact Lillie knew what that vine meant. She was restless because of it. She would have to explain to Yuri sooner or later.

 ▬Yuri § Solotov▬ Yuri carefully turned the key in it's lock on the apartment door, gently pushing it open using his shoulder. As nice as the apartment was, the door's inability to be opened with ease was the catch that came with it. "I'm home." He called out, knowing that Lillie would still be inside at this time of day.

Even if it was her own apartment Lillie probably jumped ten feet in the air. She pushed down her sleeve. She didn't know who to tell her husband just yet about her vines. Maybe she should have called Sopian for advice. The woman smiled and got up before turning and giving her husband a 'welcome home kiss'. "How was your day Honey?" She asked.

▬Yuri § Solotov▬ Yuri welcomed the kiss and gave one in return before smiling at Lillie, gently putting his arms around her. "Could've gone better, could've gone worse." He said with a light shrug, the smile remaining on his face. Whilst his work wasn't exactly the most pleasant of jobs, even working part time allowed him to support both Lillie and himself so far. "What about you, love?" He asked her.

Lillie wasn't sure about how she should answer his question. Maybe she have asked Abby for advice. "Well it's been pretty interesting." She answered as she pulled up her sleeve like it was natural. Maybe it was better if Yuri asked what was up with her arm. She was just too afraid of what he would think other wise. Yuri was pretty understanding.

▬Yuri § Solotov▬ Yuri spotted the vines easily as Lillie lifted her sleeve. However, being Yuri, he had little to no clue as to what they really were. Raising an eyebrow slightly, he looked up at his lover. "You got a tattoo?" He asked, looking back down at the arm she was showing him. Even if it was a tattoo, Yuri wouldn't have said much if anything against it, it was her body after all. (gah, gotta get going in a moment >.<)

Lillie blushed. It was clear Yuri was surprised. Then again he was also raised by humans and then again it could be just be a royal thing. "It's not a tattoo. It's a sign that my body is changing." The woman answered. Hoping that he would connect the dots by himself. It was a bit embarrassing to say out loud what he did.

▬Yuri § Solotov▬ Yuri looked back up at Lillie and tilted his head, his brow furrowed just a little as he heard her speak. "Changing? Lillie, what are y-" It suddenly dawned on him what she meant, he went silent for just a second. That second of mute pause was ended by a slight cough, as if he were choking on air. He suddenly felt a slight dizzy spell, like he were going to faint right then and there. "Y-You mean...you're...we're going to have a..." He couldn't fully articulate his response, his face was mixed with different emotions. The suprise of this happening, the happiness of what would be happening and the sudden dread that, since they had honestly not been married for long, his wife's father was probably going to annihilate him.

Once Yuri figured out her words she blushed harder. Her face must have started to look like a tomato and it was a surprise she didn't fall over with embarrassment with so much blood running to her head. She wasn't able to tell him right away because she knew what that would mean to her face. "The vines spread through my body until the day it is born. Sooner or later it will be really hard to hide it." She warned him.

▬Yuri § Solotov▬ Nodding slightly, Yuri let out a slow breath to try and keep focus. Taking Lillie's hand, he led her to the couch in the middle of the living room and sat down with her. "I had a feeling it'd be something like that." He said, rubbing the back of his head, the vivid memories of Lillie's father on their wedding day warning him not to touch her flooding back into his mind. Of course it'd become difficult to hide, anything simpler was just never part of the Elf boy's luck. Looking back to her arm, Yuri studied the vines like they were some sort of brand new species of plant to him. "How fast do they spread? Do you know when exactly they started?" He asked, not even bothering to ask how, that part was probably the simplest part of this entire thing.

Lillie knew that this was something Yuri was going have questions about. He wasn't raised by members of their kind and he wasn't a girl as well. "Well they grow as the baby grows. Once they cover most of my body the baby will be born." She answered so he understood. It was a good way for them to figure out when the baby would come into the world. "They start about three weeks after we well...." She blushed to suggest the word that she wanted. "Once the baby was there the vines appeared. I only woke up to see them on my arm." She only found out today.

▬Yuri § Solotov▬ Yuri nodded, again looking to the vines before tentitavely brushing a finger along them. Whilst they did look similar to tattoos, the vines were definitely real ones, moving slightly against his touch. He didn't bother asking whether the baby would be a boy or a girl. He may not have known much about pregnancy, probably even less about Elven pregnancy, but he knew it would be far too early for anything like that to be confirmed. "Have you told either of your parents yet?" He then asked. Whilst he still had slight worries about being turned into a fine powder for this, especially since he knew his father-in-law was actually capable of doing so, Yuri figured that the blow would be less painful for both of them if they knew about the upcoming baby early into the pregnancy rather than letting them find out when the vines become too hard to cover up.

Lillie's skin tingled as her husbands hand touched her vines. It seemed that he was happy about the baby. In return Lillie was happy. She figured that if she worked hard during the pregnancy she could finish with her schooling before it was born. "I haven't told them yet. I wanted to tell you first. After all you're the Daddy. I'll tell my parents when I get a chance. I don't want to do it over the phone." She answered.

▬Yuri § Solotov▬ Yuri looked up and gave a small nod in response. "I think it'd be best if I'm with you when you do as well...at least then it might not look like I'm letting you take all of their initial reaction." He told her. After a moment of thinking about the entire situation, Yuri had to try and suppress a short laugh, he smiled broadly. "We're going to have a baby...we're going to be parents!" He said, almost excitedly as he placed a hand on Lillie's cheek. They had gone through multiple talks regarding parenthood when they were still in school, but it was still something that Yuri couldn't fully comprehend, nor keep a straight face about.
