E Paperclip Thard_Verad Waaaaaaait... isn't Blue Prof. Oak's grand son? The names have an awkward situation. In the Games, Blue is the male, but in the Manga Blue's the girl, and Oak's grandson is Green. In a way, I suspected as much, since Japan got the Red and Green versions, and in G/S, you faced Veridian City Gym Leader Green. (Edit: They faced Green. The localized version renamed him to match the American Red/Blue releases)

Being the kind of guy who take some control, while still give the expression of being reliable and enjoying the company of the girl may be something most girls find ideal. Guess I need to work on 3 of those points in real life.

Honestly I'm not surprised girls reject him, he has his own issues to work through before he should be thinking about a relationship with anyone. Who would want to get mixed up with that unless you already really liked the person?

Reminds me of myself, not so long ago. Always complaining to myself on how jerkwads got girls...though I managed to find someone at least when I actually tried...tell him that if it's possible for me to find love, so can he. The nice guy revolution shall begin soon. Just keep trying...especially since I've trying even before 4th grade. -w-a

Sounds like a Nice Guy™ to me. He wants a girlfriend, but once he gets turned down, apparently all girls are morons.
And for the record (referring to the title), you're definitely pretty horrible at giving advice. You had a chance to explain to him that not all women want the same thing and that if he stops pretending to be "nice" in hopes for sex and starts ACTUALLY being nice, he'd have much better chances of finding someone. But instead, you went the "Be more dominant!!" route. It's pretty disappointing >.<
