The nightly grind, it kept his mind from straying where it shouldn't. It also allowed him time watch as the city lights filled the sky and then slowly dimmed as the city fell asleep, as much as any major city ever fell asleep. It was one of those magical things about cities like Destiny city. It was always awake, somewhere, always something going on and the energy somehow always seemed the thrum through the city streets and back alley's. He could see the lure of it now, what brought people out to party and club.
it seemed the more time he spent out, late at night, the more he enjoyed being out so late and taking in the night life even if from afar. It wouldn't be long before he'd make the jump to joining the nightlife, in some way aside from gathering energy from hapless drunks leaving clubs and bars.
This evening though he'd decided to go out early, he needed to get some amount of sleep tonight because he had an exam in math class tomorrow. Just...where to go?
One of his favored places was the park and it not being day light it wasn't likely to be packed, hopefully there would just be evening joggers and the odd couple walking together. That was the hope which brought him to the large city park. Into the shadows he moved watching and listening for people. It was just a matter of time, turning the right corner to find some couple snuggled up.

So Egeria had decided it was only right to take a leaf out of her leaders book and go out on her own. Iris had clearly managed alright and so Egeria was going to! She was a stubborn thing and part of her was doing it to prove she could be out on her own and still survive. They thought so little of her because she was little but she had the coolest power ever! People needed to know this!
She had gone to the park because she knew people would be at the park and she wanted to see if there was anyone she could battle. She hadn't met many from the negaverse and it was a bit boring really. That woman like had her evil pen of doom but otherwise she hadn't wanted to fight much. Egeria had thought that a bit boring at the time.
She had learnt now to stay hidden though. Kids out at night drew much more attention then Iris would get. Though most people tended to think she was in fancy dress and not an actual terrorist which helped. She had been caught by the police once but she had escaped! Mwahaha! However she knew one day she wouldn't and she wasn't sure what to do if she did get caught. She would need to ask *********, just in case.
She sat behind a hedge watching two people cuddled up... ewww were they kissing? How disgusting! She didn't notice anyone else about though, she was wondering too much about how and why someone would want to stick their tongue in someone elses mouth!

It was the feeling of a senshi in the area which perked his interest, but he couldn't pin point right where the senshi was. They didn't feel powerful so the Captain didn't worry as he made his way through the park. Picking his way down the paved roads with little care to where his feet took him. he'd find someone at some point, it was just a matter of time.
And there they were! Snuggled up and snogging. Unlike the little girl spying on them he knew very well why someone stuck their tongue in someone elses mouth. And the act didn't bother him but doing it in a public place did.
He didn't feel sorry for what he was about to do, as he picked up his pace and haltered his direction just a bit so he could approach the two. Their energy was his, or it would be in a few minutes. His coat moved about him and his heels clicked on the pavement before he was walking on the grass and headed for the couple. Poor them, they didn't have a clue he would be putting an early end to their evening.

Egeria covered her eyes and stuck her tongue out in that sickening way. She then got up, deciding she had enough and walked right up to them.
"You two need to get a room. Thats just disgusting and its dangerous and you could get killed and you might choke on his tongue and he is probably sleeping with a girl behind your back and she is probably sleeping with your best friend!" Egeria had watched a lot of tv, though she never understood why anyone would sleep with someone or kiss them like that, she knew it was apparently a bad thing to do it with your other half's best friend! Kinda like what her mother did. She had cheated on her husband and the result was Lissy, she knew that. She step dad wouldn't let her forget that one.
"GET LOST!" She shouted at them but as if they would take any notice of a little kid.

They may have separated to have words with the small child and question her, and each other about her accusations and who the heck the child was. All the while the ash blond watched from a distance, his path to the couple stopped by the appearence of...a child senshi.
"How lovely...a second encounter with a child senshi." He'd seen her, from the corner of his eye, at that odd toy factory battle. He'd tried to keep his eyes from straying to the little senshi, sickened by the idea of such small children being brought into a war. Who in their right mind would bring children into a war, and than proclaim themselves the good guys. It was utterly insane to bring children into a war, since he didn't even think teenagers like himself should be fighting it as no teenager he felt fully understood war and death and repercussions of their actions at that age. But it was better than a pre-teen, so at least he was better off involved than this little child.
"You should go home senshi. If your too young to understand why those two were snogging your too young to be out all alone."

Egeria turned to him and rolled her eyes. A nega? Really.
"Yep I should be in bed la la la... and of course I know why they are doing it! It's just disgusting it leads to stuff in a bedroom... I do watch tv duh!" Though she had no idea what happened in the bedroom she knew it just tended to end up in one.
"Anyway why are you here? Wanting to suck energy out like an evil alien monster?" Egeria stood with her legs slightly apart with her hands on her hips in that complete stubborn kid kind of way. "So who are you, what do you want? blah blah blah..." She would get in so much trouble with ********* for being here right now and on her own!

Raising a brow he stared at the child. Kissing lead to stuff in the bedroom? Of course it did sometimes, but did she think it lead to bedroom activities every time? Really someone needed to teach little kids the basics of such things. "Not every time, just some of the time, tv you shouldn't learn to trust about everything." It really did teach some bad lessons, and caused people to believe something as fact just because of how often it showed the same situation happening again and again...and again.
"Alien, perhaps you should look in a mirror when calling someone an alien. I'm hardly an alien, though I am out to gather energy." Suck energy, really she made it sound like he had some prob with which to suck energy out of people; at least that's how his mind played that one out.
"Want? Shouldn't that be obvious; you did already guess it. Energy, that's all. So why don't you scurry off home and get to bed." Waving a dismissive, gloved, hand at the small child. Really, what were these little senshi doing getting into a war and going out so late?

"Energy this and energy that... really is there nothing else you lot do? Don't you ever get bored?" Egeria was sure that it would get boring doing the same thing all the time, at least she got to wander around killing monsters and telling negas off.
"I mean have you got anything else to do? Like play video games or work or something?" Granted Egeria had better things to do like sleep but then again she had to help stop all these naughty people right?
"So are you going to go home or am I going to have to stop you? I will you know, stop you."

"Why? Would you like us to spend more time fighting senshi...or perhaps killing senshi?" He questioned, one heeled boot tapping on the ground lightly as he stood watching and staring at her. She really was annoying. Energy draining was enough, in his opinion. But he was avoiding fights, had been. He didn't want to get into fights, killing was something he avoided even more. He didn't even like to think about killing, but it seemed inescapable when he slept.
"I do have school work, which I in fact do." He didn't play video games, and he did have a life outside of the Negaverse. He was working to expand that life even, he needed to... "I'm not the pre-teen here. I'm not the one who likely has a set bed time and is past it. As for stopping me...that won't happen either." He felt for a single moment like some school yard child having a 'Nu-uh' sort of fight with someone, going back and forth. This was really immature and annoying but he wasn't about to go fighting a little kid, the shame and guilt he'd feel...not to mention he'd feel like some child abuser who needed to be locked up.

"You don't kill senshi." It was just a matter of fact statement. ********* had hinted at them killing each other but she tended to ignore that bit. She hadn't seen death and till she did she wouldn't believe it. Everyone wished someone dead but it was obvious no one actually killed them right?
"I possibly have a set bed time but my parents gave up on it a long time ago. I do what I want and I get what I want which is why you are going home!" She smirked a little and walked straight up to him before stamping on his toe.
"So leave!"

"Really? Then what do you think war is? Simple little fights? If that's what you think you should watch a documentary on war." How could she be so stupid and blind? Then again...she was just a child. Which was just why she shouldn't be involved in this war, she was too innocent and that statement had just proven it. And no one had opened her eyes....curse those white moon cats and senshi.
For a moment he was taken aback by the girls audacity to order him about but than she went and stomped on his toe. Biting the inside of his cheek, to prevent any noise from escaping, he finally spoke. "I don't go taking orders from senshi who serve the white moon, especially children senshi. If anyone is going home it'll be you." He spoke, voice dropping and becoming cold. For a moment he considered stomping on her foot in return, but that would be childish and thus the idea was scrapped almost immediately.
Instead of stomping on her foot, as he had thought of doing for a brief instant, he pushed her back, not hard or anything, just hard enough to put some distance between them. "I don't answer, nor cater, to spoiled children."

"Oh people die in wars all the time, I'm not stupid but I said you don't kill senshi." Of course she didn't know this but from experience and the non existent number of senshi she had heard of being killed she was pretty certain the negaverse was a lot of talk and not a lot of action.
"You should watch your stupidity. We might be children but so are most senshi and some of your lot! How many of you are actually adults? How many of your bosses are younger then you?" So she had no idea how old the negas were but ********* had told her that age wise most were teenagers which meant the important people had to be teenagers as well right?
When she was pushed away she narrowed her eyes.
"I am not spoilt." As far from it, she was a troublesome kid but spoilt? She would have loved to be spoilt but she never was, she didn't even get the attention she craved so much.
She ran at him, hoping to instead of kick him or punch him grab on to his arm, her aim was to bite him as hard as she could.

He didn't want to say what he'd done, that he had killed, but how could a child involved in this be allowed to go around with such rose tinted glasses on?If wasn't fair to the child, a crime to bring a child in to war and a second crime to leave them in a war innocent and naive. The senshi of the white moon were surely inhumane and unjust in this.
"At least we don't recruit at Knightside! What do the senshi and cats do on your side? Stand by the playground gates and watch and recruit? It seems like it." He stated, cold and angry. How dare she even put the Negaverse into the same box as the White Moon senshi who brought little pre-teens into this fight.
"Well, your certainly acting like it and your words say otherwise. Perhaps you should re-phrase things and even go to be-!" He didn't get to finish, the little brat had run at him and grabbed onto his arm and had...bitten him! What on Earth! Glaring down at the child he pressed his free hand to her forehead to try and push her off. "Now your some sort of animal." He was not going to hurt some child, but he was not about to allow her to bite him either.

After all her captain had nearly died, ********* had told her that rule 3 was no killing, she was well aware that death happened, she just hadn't witnessed it.
She didn't give a response to the school thing. She might not even go there for all he knew! Instead it was much more important to try and hurt him.
As he tried to push her away she grabbed the arm that was pushing her and tried to scratch at him. He might not want to hurt her but she was going to do her damn hardest to hurt him. That included ducking and trying to headbutt him instead.

He had listened, but had she meant you as in him himself, or as in the Negaverse? That was the problem, he hadn't known which way she meant it. Assuming that was the issue really. But he of course was unaware of her thoughts, and his own were running in a few different places.
He'd only thought of Knightside as it had been his own school growing up, his mother had wanted him in a public school at that age in order to make lots of friends. It hadn't proven to be a good idea, it wasn't that he'd made enemies but he hadn't made the load of friends his mother had hoped he'd make. He'd still clung to Lily as his best friend and stated that he didn't need other friends, all he'd needed back then was Lily.
Snatching his free arm away, so he didn't get bitten again, he found a little girls head connecting with his midsection. Surprised he stepped back, shaking his arm free enough to wiggle his bitten arm out of the coat sleeve. Shedding his coat he was left in his pants, boots, and a fairly form fitting turtleneck.
"If your looking for a fight your looking in the wrong place. I suggest you leave me to my business. I don't have any intention of hurting a child." Let her have his coat, he'd get it back by the end of this little...what was this anyway? It wasn't a fight but it wasn't a pleasant conversation either. A confrontation perhaps? It sounded nicer then fight; which it most certainly was not.
