Naomi was tense as usual, sitting silently by the chain link fence to the warehouse, tail flicking back and forth quickly. Ever since her sisters had seemed to move on she had been caught in a turmoil of stress and worry, often going back and forth between the two just to see if they were okay. Mia needed the most help, though sometimes she didn't. They were both growing up. Now? Naomi had spent so long being the mother figure that she wasn't even sure how to relax anymore.
She had made one friend recently, Arah. A vixen with a hood that covered her eyes often. Though friend was such a loose term, they barely knew one another. Though it had been rather relaxing speaking to someone she didn't need to mother over. Then again, knowing her if she ever met Arah again she'd frighten her away by fretting once more, and often.

Arah needed time away from her brothers. Though Umar had left home, it didn't help that Malik and Abbas pestered her constantly. Sometimes being the only girl was a real pain in the a**. It was the only thing that could put a damper on her usual perky attitude. So she had said goodbye to her mother and father, and ventured out into the world. She knew that one day she would go back to her family, but right now she wanted to focus on other things.
Like making new friends. Recently she had ran into a rather colorful fox, Naomi was her name. Arah had been jealous of her multi-colored hair and tail, once again reminded that she was rather plain looking. Though she tried not to let it bother her anymore. Naomi had been sweet to her, so Arah couldn't remain jealous of the other vixen's beauty.
Speaking of Naomi, Arah couldn't help but wonder where the vixen had ended up as she walked through the area with no real destination.

Naomi hadn't expected to smell a familiar scent, tail twitching in thought. Hm. Faintly familiar, she probably hadn't met the owner a lot. Still, Naomi stayed put. She disliked meeting new people, it made her awkward. People found her social awkwardness amusing and in return she found them as asses. Though it bugged her, the familiarity, and so she rose, heading for the scent.
Ah? It was Arah. The multi-colored vixen flipped her hair from her eyes, padding closer. "Well, never thought you'd come here." Wow, what a...sucky greeting.

The vixen's eyes bugged out, "Woooooooah...naomi you must be a mind reader." She laughed, "I was literally just thinking about you. And now here you are." Arah chuckled, "That was really neat. You should show me what other magic powers you have." The assassin vixen teased. Smiling softly at the other vixen, she bobbed her head back to get the hood out of her face.
"So it has been a long time. How have you been Naomi? How are the sisters? I know you worry about that a lot." Coming from a rather large family, that was one of the things that Arah got. She worried about her brothers all the time. But mostly that had to do with the fact that they were all a bunch of idiots.

"Powers?" She was thinking of her? Oh, strange. "If you count sewing and stealing a power I can show you." She mused dryly, then realizing how boring she was being the vixen shook her head. "They are good, even if Mia is a clutz and always hurting herself." She chuckled slightly, shaking her head. Oh Mia.
"You? How are you?" She looked up, offering a warm smile.

"Well at least your sisters are safe. that is what matters right?" Arah smiled at the vixen, then tilted her head to the side. "Me? Oh you know,...I'm doing just find." She giggled, "My brothers were getting on my nerves so I decided that a bit of exploring was a good idea." She nodded her head, "I never thought I was going to run into you though. It's nice."
Arah's tail swung behind her, "I was um....worried about you Naomi...."

"Worried?" She looked up at her, surprised. Wait, she was worried about her? Why? Naomi was the one to worry about others, most didn't worry about her.
Blinking, she looked to the side, a slight blush on her cheeks. "Rarely others worry about me, it's a strange feeling for people to worry for me. Though, why?" She had thought she seemed put together... Did Arah think she was weak? Oh, she'd have to prove her wrong on that.

"Well I think it is about time that someone worries about you." Arah smiled at the vixen, "I mean...I care what happens to you Naomi. I would hate to see anything bad happen to you." The normally chirpier vixen frowned at the thought. "I just....worry. Is that so horrible. For me to worry about you?" The vixen pushed her hood back and smiled at her.
"You worry about your sisters. I worry about you." She nodded her head, "Yep that is the way it is going to be from now on. No mater where you are. I am going to be worrying about you." She smiled, "And praying that you are safe."

"Isn't that a troublesome life?" She asked, looking at her. "Though," She stopped, shaking her head. "You are a strange vixen, but I won't stop you." It was a nice feeling having someone worry about her. They never had a mother, she had to be her sisters mother. Having someone actually want her safety.
"Well, we are by the city. Should I show you about?"

"I don't think that it would be a troublesome life." Arah frowned as she looked at the vixen in front of her, cocking her head slightly to the other side. "Strange?" The assassin pouted, "You think that I am strange? I'm not strange...I...I'm normal...Yep completely normal." She smiled, then chuckled.
"City?" Said vixen looked at the multi-colored one intrigued, "I've never been to a city. What is it like?" Scooting closer she listened intently for what Naomi was going to say next.

"The city is like the forest, but with metal, square like structures, and instead of hundreds of birds there are hundreds of humans." She nodded, nudging the vixen.
"And there is a lot of food. Follow me?" Moving so that hopefully Arah would follow her, she made a move to the chain link fence, lifting a crushed section so she can slip through.

"Oh." Arah looked at the vixen in astonishment, "That sounds so different." She smiled as her tail twitched behind her, "Yeah. I'd love to come with you. I want to see this city." She walked up beside Naomi. "Food?" She grinned, "Oh yeah. I am definitely liking the sound of food right about now." She chuckled as she walked next to her.
"So....is this where you were raised? In the city I mean?"

She nodded, smiling at the vixen. "I raised my sisters in the city, in a warehouse." With this, she pointed at the hole in the fence. "Slip on in."
She watched the area around them. Sometimes the city was dangerous, she'd have to keep an eye on Arah. She leaned over, fixing the vixens cloak so it wouldn't get caught in the fence.

"Warehouse?" Arah looked at the vixen puzzled, "What is that? Oh..." She blushed as the female fixed her cloak so that it wouldn't snag on anything. "Thank you Nao." Being careful about it, she slipped through the fence without damaging the cloak her father gave it to her. it had always been precious to her, and she was glad that Naomi cared enough to help her keep it in tact.
"So..." She looked around on the other side of the fence, "Which way do we go now?" Arah smiled.

"A warehouse is a human made structure that is huge. I brought my sisters there when we were kits and we have never left since." She paused, nodding. "Would you like to wait at my home for food or come with me?" She asked, tail wagging back and forth.
Wait. Wagging.
She stopped her tail, slipped through the fence, and frowned. s**t, she was wagging her tail...
