Uzuraia didn't have much in life, but he appreciated the few things he had and was optimistic toward life, despite the fact that he was an orphan and he was forced to live the harsh, punishing, competitive life of a child with no guardian.
When he was younger, he was often seen foraging for food or napping, having nothing else to do - for an orphan, there wasn't much he could do. Through the alleys he lived on, he was fascinated by the conversations of people, how most spoke so fluently without pause. Their expressions and emotions humored him, as they were often very blunt or sudden. He had tried to mimic their words, trying to understand, but he only succeeded in parroting words that meant nothing to him.
He had been eating a meager meal of some stale bread when he noticed a person, dressed very smartly walking, and began to follow him - that man was walking briskly, as if he was going somewhere important. He seemed so different from the attire of everyone else. The man led him somewhere, and Uzuraia found himself surrounded by books. Understanding nothing, he picked out something that looked relatively simple, and opened it. The first book was something of preschool level - a thick-paged book with sounds to learn letter sounds - and he learned how to pick out letters in words. Uzuraia began picking out moderately easy books, quickly acquiring the ability to read properly. He therefore taught himself how to read - obviously, he was far too poor to be able to afford a proper eucation of sorts. He constantly read unreasonably thick fiction and nonfiction books, educating him about the world and the supposed unseen and fake. His frequent reading times - he registered the habit to eat one meal every two days so he could read more in libraries -strengthened his Soul and Imagination, which gradually flourished and grew sharply.
He allowed his Imagination to run free, drawing on black pavement with colored rock, often white. When he colored, he scavenged for different rock hues. The pictures he drew often came out as warped, distorted images of Noise symbols and the beasts themselves. He especially favored Leo Cantus, Tigris Cantus, Boomer, and Fox Noise.
The orphaned Uzuraia enjoyed the seasons, especially fall, and was very observant of the world around him. He was very relaxed and good natured (like Kariya). He was energetic, able slightly able to see certain Noise, a few Reapers, and some Players at an early age, a trait no one was aware of, due to his unusually heightened Soul and Imagination.
Being young, he had once told a pair playing Reaper Creeper that the Reaper they believed in wasn't real, that the Players were manipulating their ten yen coin, and was replied to with a hard backhand.
One day while sporadically drawing another Tigris with white rock, he was approached by Sanae Hanekoma, who had sensed an extremely high peak of Soul trickling from the orphan. Though reluctant, Sanae slowly explained to the boy about the Game after long weeks of the orphan begging. The explanation diminished his confusion, and the two became friends, not just student and teacher.
Uzuraia died in a mass murder while reading by a school, and he played the Game once, offering his ability to read and comprehend words as his entry fee. He was deeply mesmerized and fascinated by the works of the Composer, envying his ability to be able to run the Game so smoothly, to be able to think up something like the Game, to think he might be a tad closer to becoming the Composer. His level as a Player skyrocketed, sending him to the Angels' Plane after consideration - his Soul could've been used for the benefit of the RG, but was voted against that choice. There, he became an Angel, a being born to jump worlds. He liked his job, slipping through this world and the next, to see one personality and view another persons' selves, despite the fact he had a job to do that didn't include his interest in people.
He heard about issues in the UG and gingerly watches from above, also aware of Sanae Hanekoma's disappearance...
