Amenophis woke up, his body was burning up from the heat of the sun. It was a huge mistake laying out in the open and not under a shade tree. He wasn't happy at all with his decision, he grumbled as he got up and stumbled to the shade. It instantly cooled his body as if the dark shadows of the shade under the trees were wrapping their tendrils around his body. It was almost instant, the cooling effect of the change in temperature was almost magical. He smiled to himself because the longer he was in the shade, the cooler he became.
The young Egyptian stallion began to weave his ways between the trees, he liked to walk through the trees and just enjoy the peace and quiet. It had been a while since he last saw Amira, but he pushed the thoughts to the back of his mind. His heart ached when he couldn't be around her or see her after a certain amount of time. It seemed like forever to him now though, he couldn't remember the last day he saw his love. It didn't bother him that much, he knew she wasn't around for a reason.
