 The night was cold in the city, however it was something the Black fox was used to, to be alone.
He was never able to be truely happy around others no matter how much he tried. they always ended up hating him for that god forsaken birth mark he was born with.
He had recently woken from a dream, one with that horrible woman, Myu her white hair haunted him she the thought that she had almost become his mate only to try to kill him.He hated remembering her, that twisted smile,and her cold voice. he had actually fallen in love with her but after what happened, never again.He knew it would only end in disaster again.
He walked into an alley way and found a bag that had some food some human must have left behind, he stuck his head in and pulled the yellow wrapped food and found a place where he could work on opeing it. For one to live in such a place where one cold see the true evils of humanity, needless violence greed, unneeded mating in the worst possible places.
It made him happy that other foxes didn't come around here he could be alone, only dealing with a few slum foxes. That was what the humans called this place, a slum.

 Kiyu found her way into some run down slums. She had seen a racoon run into the area and went to chase it.But ended up losing it and just wandering around.Now she was lost.she found her way into an alleyway where the sound of a loud growel came from behind her. she turned her head and a large dog staring at her its teeth bared.
was she in its territory? did she do something to offend it? "uhm...hello mr doggy please dont be mad Im just passing through."she said her voice shaking,however the dog didnt seemto care it continued to step towards her.
this was Bad She was going to get killed all because she wanted to chase a racoon

Kenta heard a loud growl from around the corner. he sighed and continued walking, what actually irked him was tht he would have to pass the source to move foreward due to the shape of the alleyway.
He turned the corner and saw the source, it was a large German Sheppard growling at a red haired Vixen.....wait a minute....that pest!? He knew this girl she had come to talk to him a couple times each time he ended up being excessively more annoyed. He sighed then walked behind the dog and let out a fierce growl, the dog turned around and fled. its tail between its legs.
Kenta walked over to the Red vixen and glared at her."the hell are you doing over here? I thought I told yu to get lost...that means stay away from me!"

Kiyu saw the dog flee, and watched as a black male walked up to her. she recognized him as the male from a few days before. He normally acted very rude, but she could tell by looking at him he wanst a bad person.
"well I was just walking through here and I saw this racoon, that ran off with my ribbon and I started to chase it, It came here though and I got lost and here I am..." she said her shoulders rising and her head sinking low."I didnt mean to find you this time I swear." her face had a small gentle smile."But Thanks for savig me."

Kenta sighed."yeah whatever... Just get outta here alright, I told you before I dont wanna be followed by some little runt who gets in trouble every time she turns around." he walked past her giving her a light shove."and dont follow me!" he growled giving her a hard stare. He just wanted to be left alone to his own demons, He didnt want anyone else to be hurt because of him.

Kiyu sighed and started walking in the direction she had been previously going."I'll leave you be then, ave a nice day alright?" she said with a soft smile, before continueing, when she passed his leg she noticed the marking on his leg, the same one she had. Her parents didnt have it and neither did any of her relatives. She seemed to be the only one born with it ever in her line."That mark...where did you get it?"

Kenta looked at her, he caugt a glimpse of a similar. mark on her leg."You hve it to? I should probably ask you the same question. I for one was born with this mark. Unlike everyone in my family Ive been treated like a freak because if it... there was only one pwerson who ever treated me with respect......" he gave her a look."I bet your gonna treat me the same as everyone else now.

Kiyu smiled."No Im not gonna leave someone who was born wit the mark Like the one I was born with. especially when hes someone whos like you....sure your a bit rough and rude, but your a nice person I can tell from your eyes, youve been hurt, it isnt your fault that yur like this." she smiled gently."If you'll let me Ill stay by you so neither of us have to be alone."

Kenta sighed. so Kiyu claimed she wouldn't run away from him, or shun him because of his mark. and since she had it she knew about the history of it. How the foxes on the island he came from believed the mark was given to cursed foxes."Thank you...I welcome your company..." he was already regretting his words.
Her comment about him being nice however bothered him a bit. He wasnt nice he didnt do Nice....but he decided to old his tongue for now.

Kiyu smiled."well then lets get moving, I dont know much about the area.Maybe you could tell me a bit about the area." she had ended up here after chasing a racoon after all. She was lost,and Kenta was from around here.could help her out."I mean If you dont mind." she blushed her ears falling to her sides.

Kenta looked at the girl and shook his head and groaned. He wanted to hell her to get lost so badly. But He had agreed to help her out in the area."alright fine. Follow me. I'll show you around the city..."He reallydidnt wish anyone to live here in this dump, the humans had all but abandoned it filling it with violence and strife."

Kiyu smiled then nodded. "alright Lets go then " Her tail wagged and she walked next to him."Lead the way then." se wondered where the male was going tobrig her. looking around the city was a dump, with plenty of humans laying around not in their homes, if they even had homes.

Kenta nodded and led her out of the ally way."So the alleys like te one you were just in, are a good place to stay away from. Especially when you remember that there are several fox gangs in the city who wont stop at the thought of using a cute vixen like you for.....entertainment." he shuddered at the thought of the cities gangs using any wandering foxes for their own means,and someone like Kiyu would be a prime target.

Kiyu nodded. "well if anyone were to try anything Im sure you would be ere to help me. right?" she gave a friendly Grin. It was surprising that Kenta was actually not telling her to buzz off now. She had to admoit the reason she stayed around him were many, he was rough and pessimistic, but she could see he was actually a nice person, and he was very attractive. Now he was protecting her from anybody whotried to come near her and hurt her.

Kenta blushed looking away with an annoyed look."yeah If anyone tries to attack you Ill be right here to take them out." his voice was low. this woman annoyed him, yet he didnt feel it right to be as cruel as he normally did now. especially if she was as hopelessly lost, and beautiful....wait what was that last part?! Hell no he wasnt gonna fall for her charms.She was only gonna tak advantage of him.
