Harmony was feeling pretty good. She opened her eyes and her first thought wasn't about the pain in her side. In fact, that seemed almost gone even without herbs and medicine. AT LAST! She sat up, testing her newfound good fortune. She slowly twisted to the left first and then again to the right and found most of her range of movement was back. There was a twinge here and there but Camelot was as good as his promise. The bone healed right and quickly (as far as healing bones go) thanks to Virgo's magic.

It was now time to get out of bed and go experience Wonderland for herself. Now she wouldn't need to sneak around and the pesky knight that always seemed to find her when she was up to no good wouldn't be able to send her back to bed. If she was stuck here, as she was quickly becoming convinced she was, she wanted to feel a bit normal. This included a long hot soak in this large indoor jacuzzi she'd heard so much about and maybe some new clothes. It was too much to hope for that they had her style but she was good at improvising.

She wandered toward the main house and away from the tent, her eyes wide and taking in her surroundings from every angle. The house loomed up in front of her looking every bit like a masterpiece of architecture.

He had visited most of the other active outposts, but Felix had yet to set foot in the Virgo outpost since his last visit there to heal his minor injuries. It had been so long ago, he felt, since he had idled about the outpost, waiting for the temple to work its healing magic and fix up the long gash on his arm. While the magic was convenient, it startled him and in a way, evoked hateful envy. His mother was a doctor—so why did she have to spend hours slaving away to save lives while Captain Virgo could easily patch someone up within a few hours? Sure, there must have been limitations he was unaware of, but it couldn’t wash away the bitterness.

Yet Felix still found himself wandering through the corridors of the Virgo outpost. The architecture, unlike Leo’s Renaissance-like style and Aquarius’ geometric designs, was notably Greek-like. He wondered why. Were the people of Virgo and Greece alike? Of the same origin? Did perhaps people from Virgo come to Earth and settle in Greece? Was it, by some sort of impossible miracle, a coincidence?

He reached out to casually brush his hand over one of the columns, surprisingly white and smooth. Most of the temple was spotless, which surprised Felix. The other posts were in major disrepair and needed significant amounts of tidying, although now some cleaning had been done thanks to the many citizens stuck in space, like his self.

Upon swerving around a corner, he spotted a girl, probably a bit younger than he was, that seemed awed by the outpost. “It’s rather beautiful, don’t you agree?” he called out to her. “The other outposts are pretty as well, but a bit muddled with fallen debris and dust.”

"I wouldn't know." she answered, peeking shyly from behind the other column. "I haven't seen any of the others. I've barely seen this one. I was hurt."

As she came out from behind her hiding place the shirt she wore attested to that with the thick coppery splattering of dried blood. It was torn where the rib had poked through the skin and usually was covered by a bandage before now. She wanted to find something else to suit her somewhere in this huge temple like structure. Funny how she ended up somewhere with Greek architecture, being that the Greek myths were her favorite. She hadn't given it much thought before because she hadn't seen the main structure. Now she was thinking perhaps it wasn't a coincidence.

She was coming closer, slowly, just as distracted by the temple as by him. The open structure was in remarkable condition considering it had to be at least a thousand years old and, well, in space. But she was also taking note of her surprise companion. She hadn't noticed him when she wandered in but she saw him now. Older than her, perhaps, but that never bothered or stopped her before. Harm had a very well known habit of doing anything to make people squirm just a little bit. She was certainly charming, yes, she could charm people easily. But she also liked to push the envelope between getting attention and doing something she probably shouldn't be doing.

And she usually blamed her mother for that, for not giving her enough attention in her childhood. She grinned, showing the lingering dimples in her cheeks from childhood, her long light green hair pulled back and out of her face. She figured somewhere there had to be that big bath thing everyone was talking about. It sounded to her like a jacuzzi but a natural one. Then, maybe, she could find something to wear. Given the decor maybe a toga? She smiled at the thought and extended her hand to him.

"I'm Harmony. Rosen. Who are you?"

“I was simply making a statement based on personal experience. I didn’t expect you to have seen the other outposts as well,” Felix explained in an even tone. Once the younger girl completely revealed herself, he took note of her tattered attire. Her shirt, torn near her ribcage—he had an inkling of what had happened to her, but chose not to settle on the gruesome details—was stained with dark red blotches of blood. “A real shame you were injured, but it’s fortunate that Captain Virgo’s magic patched you up.” His half-lidded eyes were veiled with a thin layer of envy.

As charming as Harm may be, it took skillful persuasion and charisma to coax multitudes of emotions out of Felix. His poker face was stolid, though his eyes not quite as so. A special exception to this case vaguely swam around his mind, but he quickly swatted the person’s profile out of his thoughts. “Felix Blanc.” He folded his arms over his chest. “Have you had the time to explore the temple? You probably want some new clothes, at the very least.” Felix half-nodded to the hole in her shirt. “I somewhat know my way around, so if you need help navigating I won’t mind helping you.”

"Yeah, sure, if you can help me I'd like that."

She grinned and moved to go further into the temple. It looked like pictures of the Acropolis she'd seen in textbooks but everything was shinier. It all gleamed. She grinned and tossed him a quick smile before darting inside with a laugh, making him chase her just a little bit. Harm had been without the things that put her at ease lately. No camera, no books, and before now she'd been too hurt to find time to flirt and cause a little bit of mischief. It wasn't surprising to her that her first time out she came across a boy, well, man, that took interest in her.

"There's supposed to be a hot spring somewhere around here...like a big Jacuzzi. I heard some of the others talking about it. Might be nice to take a long soak, wouldn't it? Kinda like a nice, long bath."

She darted in and out of his line of sight like a nymph through the trees. She wasn't quite flirting with him and she wasn't quite being overt. She knew how to walk a thin line in order to not get fired or have any harm come from her playtime. He was what, early twenties? That wasn't that much older than her, right? She'd be seventeen very soon.

“I can,” he stated with a curious quirk of his brow.

As she walked deeper into the temple, Felix dutifully followed after the younger girl. While he noticed her observing the simple yet beautiful aesthetics of the outpost, he also stared at her fleeting smile as she laughed. Yet another confused eyebrow perked up. Was Harmony insinuating that he chase after her? Felix held back an indignant snort as he kept to his casual pace, slowly following after her. Occasionally, as she turned a corner he would lose track of her, but it wasn’t long before he found her in his line of vision again.

“Are you referring to the giant bath on the first floor? Though I suppose it’s not what you’re looking for, since you should’ve seen it while you were in the infirmary,” Felix suggested after taking a moment to ruminate over her words.

Despite her attempts at flirting—by now, the college student had realized that there was a meaning behind her boggling movements—he didn’t respond to her advances at all. Felix wasn’t particularly keen on pursuing a romantic relationship. They unsurprisingly resulted in heartbreak and strained friendships, much to his chagrin. “You can stop that. It won’t work.”

"I wasn't on the first floor." she answered, turning around briefly to grin at him. "I was outside mostly."

So, likely, what he was referring to was exactly what she was looking for. She was glad to know someone knew the way and slowed to let him catch up to her at last. He didn’t seem amused by her game and didn’t participate which she found both annoying and unattractive. Any attempts to flirt and tease were only that. She was already in love, thank you, with Camelot and not many compared right now to her knight in shining armor. (literally) Anything she did now was only an invitation to have fun, lighten up, and try to make the best of this situation.

What’s not going to work?” she asked, innocently enough, once he got close to her again. Apparently once you graduated high school you forgot the fun of meaningless flirting. The thought didn’t occur to her that he might be taken. Flirting was only that. She hadn’t asking him to kiss her or anything of the sort. She wasn’t that kind of a girl. But she did believe in having fun. And occasionally making people squirm.

Are you gay?

She had nothing against gay guys. They were friends. Shopping partners. Someone to look at boys with. No one at all to be insulted or looked down upon. Her tone should reflect that sentiment nicely.
