At a young age, he was separated from his older brother and mother during an attack on the town the small family had been staying at. During the chaos his parents separated, taking a child in their arms, and made their own routes back to their home. However surrounded and desperately defending his son, Sai's father never made it back, succumbing to his wounds on the outskirts of the town. Found and taken from his father's arms, Sai was raised in a foster home. At the age of 13 Sai had graduated the Ninja Academy in the Mist Village. On the morning of the graduation ceremony, he encountered a strange man in passing, a man he would later learn to be the infamous Wolf Kaizen. The encounter was brief and unremarkable but before departing each other's company, Wolf had left his brand upon the young shinobi, blessing him with the surprising knowledge and capacity of an ability known as the Flying Thunder God technique. This would quickly earn the boy the childish nickname, "The Flickering Pink b*****d". Sai quickly made a name for himself through his quick and solo completion of missions that were normally beyond a normal Genin. It was during this time that the Mist Village was hostility and discretely taken over by Hatari Hyuuga, The Black Serpent. The night following the takeover and replacement of former Mizukage Daisuke Mizu, Hatari found his way to the young shinobi's home and recruited him for his own purposes, removing the seal that Wolf had placed on him. In the following months, Hatari tracked down the other Orasakai child, Sorain, and reunited them as comrades and teammates. Together the brothers were sent on one dangerous mission after another; the take down of the Devron Clan, Infiltration of the Lionhart Clan, and Espionage of the Village Hidden in the Snow. It was in this last mission that the brothers' life were truly put on the line as they were confronted for their crimes by the former Yukikage Hikenato Inuzuka and his disciple, and future successor Raven Mizu. Hatari had used them as bait to draw out Hikenato and once successful, brought a vicious assault upon the Yukikage, one that the brothers did not stay to watch but instead fled for their lives. However their escape was short lived. After two months of hiding in one of the large cities of the Fire Country, a messenger arrived with a short message for the two, 'Both return or one dies. You have three days.' Reluctant, the duo returned to their home country to find that Hatari's reign had become a tyranny and pure dictatorship. With the two once back in his palm, he closed the borders of the country to all foreigners and began the next phase of his plans. Taking Sorain away for personal training, Sai was sent to the Village Hidden in Sound to be personally trained by Hatari's close friend Nara Vaun. It was two years that Sai stayed in the man's sadistic and tortured hands, learning all forms of assassination, torture and information gathering. When he returned he found that his brother had fared no better, groomed and prepped to become Hatari's successor, Sorain had become hard and distant. Once reunited, the two were once off sent on mission after mission for what Hatari claimed to be the welfare of the world's safety. Dispatched all over to end or incite wars across a half dozen different territories, the brothers returned once again to attend the upcoming Chunin Exams in the land of Thunder. However, it was once again just another ploy by Hatari. During the exams, the brothers were instructed to cause strife with the shinobi of the Waterfall causing both Kage's to step in and surprisingly calm the situation. It was here that Sai was confronted with the man he had met all those years ago, the man that Hatari was dedicating his life to stopping, Wolf Kaizen. Sai never was able to complete the exam, before it he had the chance Hatari assigned him a new mission and set him off to the far reaches of the Sea Country. His Assignment: Assassinate and form a puppet government. By the time he had returned to his home country, he was immediately sent orders to return to Lightning to help calm the civil unrest that had brewed there. Once again, Hatari had instructed Sorain to incite the people's anger and with it a civil war broke out, one that with the help of Sai was brought back under control but only after the removal of the leaders of the organization that opposed Hatari's control in the country. After peace had settled across the land, Hatari vanished, leaving Sorain to take the lead of his operations in the Mist Village. Meanwhile Hatari had finally accomplished all that he needed to dismember the Akatsuki Organization and in turn form his own Koukon Organization with their resources. Sai as the puppet leader of Sea Country and the Right Hand of his brother Sorain, continued his dark path of enforcing his brother's reign. Within a few years, Sorain finished what Hatari had started in uniting as many territories under his control and with the power he had accumulated he intended strike out against the Alliance, the rivaling power under the shadow control of Nathan aka Shadow Mira (Wolf Kaizen). Their final ploy would be to assimilate the power of the Fire Country, who until now had stayed neutral in the power struggle. Together, the brothers traveled to the Leaf Village to confer with Rouhi Hitori and her attendant, Sai's only friend, Kingyosomaru. The conference quickly turned violent as Hitori's rage was incited by Sorain. The battle was one sided as Sai, against his brother's wishes, tried to calm the situation but as Kingyosomaru attempted to take Sorain's life, Sai quickly dispatched his friend to a nightmare filled coma before in turn slaying Hitori. Using his knowledge gained by Hatari's twisted teachings, Sorain sacrificed the listless Kingyosomaru to revive Hitori. Through stipulation, Hitori bitterly agreed to Sorain's terms and joined their numbers. It was a short lived victory as Wolf made his appearance on the battlefield. With an illusion, he turned Hitori against her own Village and Sorain, leaving Sai alone to confront him. It was a short lived battle and swiftly Sai, Sorain, and Hitori were all slain and the village was left in shambles. 20 Years Later, Sai found himself wondering the deserts of the Wind Country. His recollection of where had been, what he had done, and all that had transpired in his life was a faint whispering in his mind. Middle aged and tired, he traveled with his sole compaign, Vyrin Orasakai, the son of his brother who had raised as his own. In the coming years, the two would continue in doing the only thing he knew how... creating and ending wars. With Vyrin's likeliness to his fallen brother, Sai in his confusion had relied on the young man to act in his brother's stead, leading to Vyrin to at times assume the identity of Sorain to the world itself. It was during these times that Sai brought upon horrors to his home country, causing the village to have no choice but to press their military might against one of their legends. However the force that came was not enough and another slaughter ensued, one that left Sai in a daze as he relived the last moments of his friend's life. In a rage, he struck down Vyrin who had still assumed the guise of Sorain before leaving his body among the wreckage. Returning to the folds of the Mist Village under the guise of Saikoro Daisuke, he helped rebuild the nation to it's former glory. It would be another four years before his identity was revealed and he self imposed his own exile for the crimes he had committed. But with no other tools to live on, Sai found himself once again seeking wars, not to start but to end. It was in these wars that he was gravely injured and forced to retreat into reclusive territory in the Snow Country. There was tracked down and slain... only he has risen once again. In their search for a single monk, they went about killing every single member of the place, staining the wooden steps of the monastery with blood - drestorying the main temple until it was nothing but splinters and shattered pottery. Since that time, many years past. The monastery was rebuilt, and repopulated with the faithful. Two great ninja wars were faught- and despite the passage of time and the many lives lost to the senseless whims of ninjakind- the world is very much the same as it's always been. Hajime Takenaka was second-born in his clan, and, unable to take inheritance over his Father's things, was consigned to a life of meditation and study. This was all well and good, for a time, until Hajime began to read deeply into the history of humankind, and- more interestingly, the role of Shinobi. Curiousity overcame him, and he went on a pilgramage to a Temple in the nearest Ninja Village - were he witnessed things he found atrocious. Ninja- mercenary assassins- lived like kings while the poor of the countryside lived in huts and humble townships. The shinobi had high-technology, magical power, money, good food, and extravagance abound. Rage was not an emotion for a Monk to feel, neither was nostalgia for a time in which he'd never lived. His masters urged him to swallow those thoughts- they'd come to no good in the end- but Hajime would not. The Shinobi were criminals to mankind itself - they were a threat to everyone - either through intention or utter delinquence. Clan: Yomi / Orasakai Role: Combat Affinity: Wind Village: Village Hidden in the Leaf Rank: Genin History: Haikyo comes from a family in the Land of Iron -- the head family of the Yomi Clan, who once prospered there. They were healers and shamans--people who would allow the passage of one's soul to the next life, severing the negative ties to this world that the dead sometimes hold. As he grew up with his parents, he was a prodigy, though not in a positive light. He lived with his close family inside their home, prestigious and proud, though he was not allowed to leave his home. His parents, upon bringing him to a battlefield for the first time, when he was a young child, to begin learning the ways of the souls--there was an accident. Haikyo--unknown to his parents, carried a very rare gift. The ability to hold multiple souls within one body. Haikyo's grandfather, Hagon Yomi, had this same ability, though no other Yomi had been seen with it for many years. When Haikyo stepped foot onto the battlefield, all the angry souls who did not wish to move on to a different life--they wanted to keep the present lives--rushed into his body and the surge of soul energy into his small form almost completely destroyed him. From then on, his parents refused to take him to train in these arts, as he was unable to control the massive soul energy that now coursed through his body. Whilst his mother and father trained in their ways--even teaching other members of their clan--Haikyo was unable to do so. His father, every time he asked, told him to train his body--to forget about the energies within, until his body was strong enough to control them. Haikyo did not understand, but he did train his body. He trained in martial arts all his life--honing his taijutsu skills, in an attempt to earn his parent's consent to train in their clan's ways once more. However, in his mid teens, their clan became entrapped in a fight with the government. They were performing holy rites for enemies of the Iron as well as the Iron's own soldiers. All souls should be treated equally in the Yomi's eyes--allowed passage to the next life. The government saw it differently. The Lords of Iron turned against the Yomi, and denounced them--disgracing their name. Hagon would not have this--he took all of the souls within his body and implanted them into corpses, raising an army of the dead that could not be destroyed. This army ran rampant and began to destroy the country of Iron. However--the Yomi would not stand for this abominable act, and they turned on Hagon. They fought against him--the only ones who could destroy this army. They could remove the souls from the corpses and purge them, allowing the corpses to cease their puppet movements. By the end of the Yomi Civil War, most of the clan had perished. The rest were hunted like dogs by the Lords of Iron, to prevent anything like this from every happening again. The clan separated--flooding to the winds, and Haikyo and his parents went into hiding in the land of Rain. It was here that his parents acted as shamans once more, though not admitting their heritage. They performed holy rites in villages, as they had done in their early lives, in the Land of Iron. And as Haikyo grew even more here, he decided he wanted training from the ninja--he wanted to learn how to use his energies his family would not teach him to use. His parents finally agreed--telling him he would need to master his chakras before he would be able to master his souls. They did not want him to be trained by them--because they wanted him to forge his own path--to speak to his own soul and overcome his barriers--this was the Yomi way, for the prince of their clan. The Head of the Clan was taught, not by his father--but by his own soul. They sent him to Fire--a place they believed he would be safe to grow and learn, and it was there his journey began. Allen, Theodore's father, hated who he had become. In fear that he would one day do this he became a ninja in hopes that he would make his father proud. What happened instead was his father became meaner. Abusing Allen he eventually snapped. His grandfather went to murder Allen's mother but stopped him. By killing him. Allen, at the age of 24, became a Jounin, was married, and just had his first born, Theodore. Around the age of 5 is when Theodore was trained, he wasn't trained in much they just practice sparring. This was done by Theodore fighting with his hands trying to take his father, who was on one knee and hand behind his back, down. Once he had failed which was most of the time, he would be given ice cream and they tried again the next day. This was until he turned 11, his father and mother went out on a mission. It was to deliver an antidote to a poison victim on a mission. They where the faster ones able to at the moment, so they went. It wasn't until it was to late that they learned it was a trap. His mother died first, his father went straight on to save his team mate. He made it, but only barely. He had lost more blood then was imaginable and as he entered the camp...he died. Theodore was struck with the news and felt broken, he had a little sister who was at this point 5 years old. She is now 6. Being devastated he took two months to cry, he moved in with his grand mother who was the sweetest lady he had met. She seemed excited that he was there, even though her daughter and son in law had died. She hid the pain quite well. Theodore only knew how to go up from there. He wanted to show his sister how to be a true ninja and so he chased after his father. The story of Theodore is an unknown length, but his father was cursed for death as a ninja, his grandfather was cursed for death as a ninja, and Theodore, may very well be, cursed as a ninja. As she got older Nisha was able to recover from her digestion problems, and could finally stop relaying on nutrient supplements and food, with help from different medical concoctions her brother came up with while working on his medicine training, because of this she was able to eat properly finally, and that she could finally eat enough to start being more activate, allowing her to go to school and even begin taking basic physical ninja training, and able to join the ninja academy as she had wished to do after hearing about awesome things, other ninja's have done and seen around the country. During her stay in the academy was able to spend time around people her own age and make friend with others, allowing her to create a bunch of happy memories with her peers. While training in the academy Nisha still held confidence issues due to her bodies frailty of the past, which was no longer an issue, which kept her from moving forward, during the final exam for the academy Nisha was partnered with Shiro Hyuuga to take down a wooden fighting doll, with Shrio's powerful attacks the doll was defeated easily, but with Nisha memory she remember the teachers lessons on capturing your target and sealing it, needed to be preformed in order to stop the dolls from reforming. With the lesson learned and the the doll seal, the two of them passed and moved forward with they life as Ninjas. ~ The Lost Alloy ~ After taking on a mission to travel to the holy city of Aren in order to collect information on the rebel faction that had been causing some troubles for the Earth Country and issued a mission to learn about them and give aid to one of the factions within the city, Nisha was able to enter the city without issue and even able to find a nice place to stay for the few days as she planned to take sometime to learn about the city and the people. However within a single day fear and chaos spread though the city causing some of the officials in the city to bring in all the outsiders in the city, but due to poor handling of the questioning of outsiders and over confidences in they abilities, in particular one Priest Hovus Pi'Tre, failed to notice the real troubles about to strike during the trail of Leoman the Frail. While being questioned Nisha came in contact with Shun Ishikawa or Nii Nii another ninja on a mission within the city, as they used the questioning to get more information and due to the poor handling of the situation even managed to be present for the trail of Leoman. During the trail came the rebels attack, Nisha and a few other ninja who had been left within the trail room took the chance to escape, as the Lifeless(reanimated former members of the Holy Order) attacked the leaders of the holy order and the royal family who were present for the trail, in an attempt to escape the massacre trying to reach a secret tunnel leading out, only to end up failing to make the jump and ended up in the Forgotten Tunnels with Nii Nii, this meant Nisha was unable to do her mission but was able to explore the tunnels. While checking the tunnels they found one that had unnatural darkness that sealed their senses, and while in this tunnel triggered a trap that flooded the and a room filled with items at the end, with limited breath in they lungs Nisha used her enhanced senses to look around the room and with great control over her breath she swam around the room collecting four of the five items she had seen, and with Shun swimming for the exit, her greed getting the better of her and wanting to brake open one of the items, thankfully it help her escape further, but as Nisha and Shun swan for the exit everything grew harder and harder, slowly losing their life force as they went on Shun passing out in the water a little from the exit, and Nisha letting her greed get to her again rather then just saving Shun she pulled him and all the treasure she had collected out of the water into the air only to meet with Sai Orasakai who was from her village, who had a mission to collect Shun, Nisha followed the man out with every she had collect. After the events in Aren and looking over the items Nisha had gotten, she had gotten a elegant blade, a silver atium shield with a intricate design on it, and a weird brown orb, that had fused with her at some point and seemed to have left a mark on her chakra after that, with these items and wanting to make use of them going forward Nisha got a manual on how to use a sword using the styles of Aren, and take sometime to go over the training she had gotten as a member of the Hyuuga clan, and began taking time every day to do more physical activity in order to build up her physical power, in order to get into a better place to use her new items and even improve her clans abilities while she was at it. Her parents came in many forms from the orphanage until she was a teen. She ran away with her friend Lana after becoming convinced after a few nights out that learning more about the streets was more interesting and fun than keeping her head in the books. In doing so they learned that the only people that had their back was each other. And they knew just how ruthless the fire country could be. The two did what they could to survive, Whether it was stealing from wealthy families that didn't need it to restaurants and weapon shops. But as with all small time criminals, the two bit off much more than they can chew. They had attracted some not so nice Shinobi after their last heist. Originally the plan was to kill them but when they got a chance to see them in action they took a different approach. The two woke up in a room where they were greeted by a man named Tagas. He explained that he was running a underground taijutsu fighting organization and he wanted them to participate in it. The two didn't have much choice considering the explosive necklaces attached to their neck. It was either they fight or they die. For 2 years they fought for Tagas, bringing him more revenue than half of his fighters combined. In exchanged he gave them a decent roof over their head and food. Despite their new living conditions that they haven't seen since the orphanage, they were still slaves. That was until she discovered a man named Aaylo. Aaylo spoke of affinities to certain elements and sensed that Jaya could possess them. But what sparked interest in Jaya more was when the man began talking about a man named Reiko Seldab. According to Aaylo Reiko was a powerful warrior that could bend the force of lightning to his will and had a clan under his rule, notorious throughout the lands during his time. Was this man her father? Grandfather? She had to find out, because if what this man was saying is true, then she was destined for more than just the life of a taijutsu slave. In secrecy she began to learn the basics underneath Aaylo. When the time was right, she fried the circuitry of their devices and planned to escape. But things went downhill faster than her feet were moving her. Her best friend, her only friend decided to stay, explaining that her life here was better than the real world. He still managed to kill him destroying the over lord. At the age of 49 he was a alcoholic, and smoker, and lived abusive in rage that he lost the rank, the life, and his desires. Allen, Theodore's father, hated who he had become. In fear that he would one day do this he became a ninja in hopes that he would make his father proud. What happened instead was his father became meaner. Abusing Allen he eventually snapped. His grandfather went to murder Allen's mother but stopped him. By killing him. Allen, at the age of 24, became a Jounin, was married, and just had his first born, Theodore. Around the age of 5 is when Theodore was trained, he wasn't trained in much they just practice sparring. This was done by Theodore fighting with his hands trying to take his father, who was on one knee and hand behind his back, down. Once he had failed which was most of the time, he would be given ice cream and they tried again the next day. This was until he turned 11, his father and mother went out on a mission. It was to deliver an antidote to a poison victim on a mission. They where the faster ones able to at the moment, so they went. It wasn't until it was to late that they learned it was a trap. His mother died first, his father went straight on to save his team mate. He made it, but only barely. He had lost more blood then was imaginable and as he entered the camp...he died. Theodore was struck with the news and felt broken, he had a little sister who was at this point 5 years old. She is now 6. Being devastated he took two months to cry, he moved in with his grand mother who was the sweetest lady he had met. She seemed excited that he was there, even though her daughter and son in law had died. She hid the pain quite well. Theodore only knew how to go up from there. He wanted to show his sister how to be a true ninja and so he chased after his father. The story of Theodore is an unknown length, but his father was cursed for death as a ninja, his grandfather was cursed for death as a ninja, and Theodore, may very well be, cursed as a ninja. Her clan, which is named after a edible mushroom, lived in the giant mushroom forests that pocketed land hidden in the grass. Because of the countries size, Kusagakure is considered a weak village, which has lead to it to be invaded by other countries in the past, such as when Iwagakure invaded it during the third Shinobi World War. Though it is known to be a weak village, it is know to be a village skilled in diplomacy, a trait that is thought to be, because of the lands ability to read the movements of other countries and stay one step ahead of them. Though many countries don't know how this is to be, it is because of one of the main clans that resides in the country. The Enoki clan, and the clan that Shima belongs to, she possesses the ability of her clan to grow mushrooms for specialized for different purposes. Growing up in the land of grass, she was raised by her grandmother after her father had been killed during the war, with her mother dying soon after giving birth to Shima, because of a weakness of body. Because her grandmother had seen the horrors of war herself, she hoped for Shima to never see violence and raised Shima to solve her problems without the cause for conflict. But this was not to be. Very soon, the land hidden in the grass was taken over by a group of bandits, that wished to ravage the land for its wealth and resources, including human slavery. though the village put up its best effort to send the bandits away, there where far to few soldier Shinobi's to put up a fight against the bandits, so the village closed its gates.The bandits where more ruthless to anyone that showed sign of resistance. That was how Shima lost her grandmother and last loved one. Though, Shima and her grandmother where safe from the bandits as they resided inside of fungal forests that protected them from dangers, the forest was not able to provide for all of Shima's needs. The problem, was that the bandits preyed on any who entered the village. Though Shima didn't know this at the time, both her and her grandmother where high targets because they possessed the Enoki Genkai, as the bandit leader wished to possess the genkai for there own use. The only thing that stopped him was Shima's grandmother. Because she also possessed the Enoki Genkai, she was able to utilize a special fungus that could sense the presence of any bandits that wished to attack them on the way to the village to get the medicine that Shima needed. Things went well for a while, as Shima's grandmother was able to keep the bandits away from them, and because she wished Shima to never see violence, always took care of the bandits in secret when ever they dared to attack, but she was old, and all of the fighting had its toll on her. She herself soon started to get sick. Though she tried her best to not show it to Shima, it became to much for her and she ended up bedridden because of the sickness. It was during one of those days that Shima's grandmother died. Shima had been twelve at that time. With her grandmother in bed, Shima took care of her grandmother. At the time, her grandmother made Shima promise not to leave the safety of the forest as the forest protected them from the bandits. Though Shima at first did as her grandmother told her, she soon grew worried for her grandmother wellness, and broke her promise to her grandmother and left to try to make a run for the village. Though her grandmother had taught her well on how to stay hidden from the bandits, her genkai dormant. Though she managed to make it to the village to get the medicine that her grandmother needed to recover, the bandits got her on her way back, just outside of the safety of the fungal forest. Bound and gagged, she was brought before the bandit chief, a vile man who wished to create an nation where he was king. His hope was to use Shima as a puppet to attack other nations. At first, Shima tried her hardest to not be the man's slave, but for three days, the bandits beat Shima when ever she tried to resist or couldn't produce her genkai. Though she tried to stay strong, but in her mind, her grandmother had been to weak in bed to rescue her and she thought her chances of being rescued wasn't going to happen. But she didn't know that was what the bandit wanted. Though she found out later, the bandits were really after her grandmother, so to steal her Genkai away, so used Shima as bait to draw her out. And unlike what Shima originally thought, her grandmother was truly a strong person, known in the past to wipe out entire cities, if it was her chose to do so, but she kept that hidden from Shima, so to never expose her to violence. During Shima's imprisonment, she had run to the village soon after Shima's kidnapping in hopes to gain support, but the village couldn't. Shima's grandmother, in her weakened state, she ran to the bandit camp to rescue Shima. The worked her way through the camp, she rotted away any bandits that stood in their way until they came to the bandit leader, who was grinning in a giant chair when Shima's grandmother approached him. Shima at the time, was chained to the chair next to the man by a collar. He had hoped that she would stand in front of her so that they could finally speak. He told her that he had come to the land because of the powers. Shima's Grandmother came close to killing the man, when he pulled a knife on Shima's throat stopping her grandmother in her tracks. In exchange for Shima's life, her grandmother would have to pass on her Genkai to him. She agreed to the terms and the instance that the two shook hands, her grandmothers fungal genkai began to be ripped from most of her body. Though the man had gained the Enoki genkai, he was a vile man a broke his promise as soon as he had it. Taking the knife, she stabbed Shima in the chest, puncturing her right lung. The man was about to finish her off when Several Konoha Shinobis swooped in and began to battle the bandit leader. It appeared that Kusagakure had asked for Konohagakure support in suppressing the bandits, and Konoha had answered. They battled the vile man, but many were killed by the newly gained power. Shima's grandmother, was crawling to Shima's side to try to heal her as best as she could. Using the last of her chakra as well as passing on the last of her genkai, she managed to seal Shima's lung shut, as well as jump start her own genkai. Shima using the power that her grandmother had given her, used her genkai connection to the man that had stolen her grandmothers genkai to begin to cause the man to rot from the inside out, before passing out from the blood in her lungs. She woke up several days later, in the leaf village hospital.Though she was grateful to the ninja's that rescued her, she turned depressed from the loss of her grandmother. Her depression kept her bedridden for a time, but over time, she grew curious about the village and was allowed to explore the village. There her depression dissipated as she grew fond of meeting the people around the village. She grew happy with the community, but her happiness wasn't perfect. Not wanting to return to her village, she went to the Kusagakure leadership, to asked to act as a diplomat between the two villages in hopes of substaining a better relationship between the villages. Her leadership allowed it and soon Shima found herself a member of Konohagakure a year later, as a academy student. Quote: Gear
